They helped out by providing another vet clinic with medication (my dog had a medical crisis). They gave me advice, 2nd opinion, and knowledge when I needed to care for a dog with lifelong medical issues. Lastly, when I needed to clip the nails of a giant breed dog who became highly aggressive when approached with nail clippers.... I got a crash course on how to secure a second muzzle to protect people holding the dog down for me to clip nails. Thanks to them, nobody was harmed or the dog. It's easy for folks to blame vets when it comes to pet care. However, this is a clinic that people can trust with the lives of their pets. (Vets can't always cure or prevent the loss of a pet, but these folks will do their best to prevent poor outcomes.)

On the surface they project as a friendly caring veterinary clinic, However after multiple…read moreconversations with front desk staff, and a lack of accountability, I have opted to reconsider my pets health care provider and advise you to do so as well. I brought my cat in for a suspected urinary blockage/ UTI and allowed them to run every test necessary for a proper diagnosis at a large expense. He was given a clear bill of health. Not a week later my pets condition is worsening, and when following up, I was informed by front desk staff that the Dr. that conducted the testing on my pet is "not really medically competent". When I asked if another veterinarian could review my pets results, I was met with a strong No, and was told that I could instead rebook and run the same 700$ tests with a different Vet in house if I wanted someone to look at the results. I just paid them 700$ for them to tell me my sick pet is fine, and that I need to switch his food to a brand only they carry. (scam) No follow up, no results, no medication, no recommendations. Only that another vet can review his results a week later for another 700$. I've been a Mission resident my entire life, and have had pets my entire life. They've not only lost me as a client permanently, but I will do my best to prevent my family and friends from going there as well. All this because they didn't want to spend 5 minutes reviewing my pets results over the phone with me and providing me with a healthcare solution (be it surgery or medication, both of which I happily would have paid for.) Suck it Cedar Grove, you're trash and apparently your staff thinks so too.

We finally visited S.A.I.N.T.S. this weekend. Well overdue - for years! This animal haven for senior and special needs animals was just heart-warming and full of love. Founder, Carol Hine is a nurse during the day and a "saint" by night. She started this sanctuary in 2004 and it's grown into a beautiful home and 3-acre property to these wonderful animals. Some of the animals have ended up at S.A.I.N.T.S. as a result of animal cruelty cases, abandonment, extended stays at animal shelters, owners moving, owners not being able to afford looking after their sick or disabled animals any longer. Weekly tours happen at the facility on Saturdays and Sundays at 11:00am. Ours was led by long-time volunteer, Dawne. She did a great job providing background info and a thorough explanation of what S.A.I.N.T.S. is all about, how they care for the animals and the stories behind some of their furry residents. They currently have 130+ animals under their care including dogs, cats, horses, llamas, sheep, pigs... S.A.I.N.T.S. is always looking for volunteers, sponsorship (you can even choose which animal), and donations (monetary and non). There's a "wish list" on their site as to the items they're always in need of and you can easily donate and sponsor via their site too. S.A.I.N.T.S. has done an amazing job of turning a bad or unwanted experience into a happy sanctuary of love. Thank you for saving and caring for the animals!

The animals are so sweet and they are all very happy and friendly, I love those elderly dogs they are the most adorable dogs a group was a feeding and they were so cute all on their own pillow with their food and for the dogs that need help a helper was hand feeding one they are all very loved and it shows in their happy faces, and the farm animals are just as wonderful they are all gentle and friendly and everyone gets along, these beautiful animals are so special they are friendly and have excellent manners i really don't know their previous owners can not want them and unless it's an extreme circumstance such death or sickness of the owner how someone could abandon them and some in such cowardly ways i read the adorable pig we saw was dumped off in a mountain, that poor pig must have been terrified, for the animals here I think every single one of them is living the happiest days of their lives here they are treated like the treasures they are, such caring people who save them and love them. I've never met Carol but she's a very special lady to open up her home and create this sanctuary for elderly and unwanted animals she is a saint. It's so worth it to go on the tour even if your not an animal lover you will be by the end of the tour, I think they do tours on the weekends you may want to check their website but I can see donations are well appreciated it all goes for the animals I wished I had more cash on me to donate but will next time. If you have children they will love it people of all ages can enjoy a visit here. The Llama Carl will make you laugh he's so cute I love his personality.
