Impeccably punctual, friendly and compassionate transportation. I felt my pet was in extremely good hands. Thank you again!

This breeder is a gift from G-d! I have had 5 deeply loved dogs over the years bred by Kristy…read more I met Kristy many years ago when I took my beloved Shih Tzu Daisy to her for grooming. BTW...She was and still is the absolute best small breed groomer in the Lower Mainland. Anyways, at the time we met back in the early 90's, she was just starting out as a Yorkie Breeder, and her goal was to be among the best Yorkshire Terrier show quality Breeders in North America. She researched tirelessly, she did everything right in terms of being a bonafide Breeder, (not a backyard Breeder) and went to extreme financial lengths, and still does, to show her dogs in the best shows all over the world. Only a Breeder of Champions can develop a reputation as a serious champion show Breeder of exceptional quality dogs among other show Breeders, and the dog show world is extremely difficult to penetrate in terms of being taken seriously and regarded as a credible show breeder. It takes years and years of dedication, effort, incredible hard work and extreme amounts of money. However, Kristy understood that without that reputation and acceptance, she would be nothing more than a backyard breeder, and that was out of the question. She maintained a busy grooming business 7 days a week, in order to fund her HUGE expenses, which include outrageously high veterinary bills, show expenses, handler costs, supplies etc etc., and on top of that, she regularly rescues dogs from bad breeders, most with serious genetic health issues. So, for those who balk at the high cost of a show quality puppy, and think that all Breeders are "in it for the money", WRONG! A backyard Breeder is in it for the money, Kristy is in it for the love, dedication, devotion and preservation of the breeds she is involved with. You know, many small dog breeds need cesarian sections to give birth, and the cost of that is outrageous! A simple spay costs $1500 now, so trust me, the $4,000 price for a show quality Yorkie, for example may sound high to those who don't understand the true cost of quality breeding, but after all the vet checks, shots, Stud fees, supplies, CKC admin costs, (papers etc.) trust me, the profit margin is borderline "loss" when all is said and done. All of Kristy's puppies are well cared for in her home, and are even paper trained before leaving. I leave you with this...Without people like Kristy, those breeds would be extinct due to genetic damage and pain and suffering caused by backyard breeders.

*WARNING - BEFORE PUTTING IN A DEPOSIT WITH KRISTY FOR A PUPPY.*…read more She insists on a nonrefundable $500 deposit, and she means it under *ALL* circumstances. We waited 6 months on her waiting list, only to find out that 2 litters of puppies had died! Due to the highly unusual circumstance, and some doubts about the health of the dogs, we asked for our deposit back. She refused and told us to wait for the next litter (which would have been 9 months). We didn't even know how many puppies died under her supervision, or how they died! We decided she was unreliable, since we could not be sure the next litter would even survive. We searched for other breeders and even got a puppy from one, Kristy still refused to give us the $500 back. She is also difficult to communicate with, and said I was "threatening" and "blackmailing" her for saying I was going to write a negative review. She will probably reply to this review trying to play the victim, even though she's the one who's $500 richer. Save your time and money, she's not worth the stress, there are plenty of reliable breeders out there who will refund your deposit if anything happens to the puppy that they are selling you.

If I could I would give '0' stars. Dear Pet Parents beware…read moreof price gauging and praying on you in most vulnerable time by this business. Our beloved dog passed with private home euthanasia service by our veterinarian in February 2022... as 3 times before we contacted Until We Meet Again to arrange service for private cremation... but it was 1st time after company was sold to new owner in Surrey. This time UWME tried to charge us $1000 for private cremation of our beloved dog (35kg)... For this price you can cremate 500kg horse!!! I was in disbelieve and shock! how owners of this important service can be so heartless. I still can't believe in this, it took me over year to be able to write about what happened. Shame on you UntilWeMeetAgain owner - you prey on people in the most vulnerable and sensitive time, it just shows you are only about money, nothing else. We found a way to service our boy with dignity and for normal price.

George is the most scrupulously honest, trustworthy and brilliant vet I have ever encountered. He…read moreis an unparalleled diagnostician, and will NEVER recommend a treatment nor test unless it is necessary. George genuinely cares about not only the health of your pet, but when you are faced with the conflicting emotions when your beloved pet is facing the inevitable, his honesty allows you to ensure your pet does not need to suffer needless tests or procedures to prolong their life, should that cause them undue pain. My Soft coated Wheaton Terrier, Riccochet, had undergone TWO surgeries for breast cancer prior to meeting George, and the FORMER vet decreed ~ when she developed a similar lump in the remaining tissue ~ that the cancer had returned..and recommended chemotherapy. At this point, I sought a second opinion, and I am so grateful I chose George. Within SECONDS he CORRECTLY diagnosed this lump as a cyst and thereafter informed me that she was in EXCRUCIATING weight bearing pain from a pre-existing condition the OTHER vet had MISSED. He gently applied pressure to her spine and her legs crumpled beneath her, as she let out a small whimper of pain. George also told me her eyesight was failing, as was her hearing & her heart was slightly enlarged, to which I said, "Are you telling me she is falling apart?" He said, NOT UNKINDLY, "She is in TERRIFIC shape for a dog who SHOULD HAVE DIED three years ago." Shay was then 13, and George said SCWT's typically last but a decade. Under George's care, she lived a vibrant, active playful and JOYOUS additional FIVE YEARS...her QUALITY of life GREATLY enhanced by THE ACCURATE DIAGNOSIS, and his prescription of the meds for her back pain. ADDITIONAL: all her medical records (including the biopsy supposedly confirming that her tissue was cancerous [ a paper the former vet read in front of me [but i did not see]) coincidentally "DISAPPEARED". My poor beloved sweet pupper went through two EXCRUCIATING surgeries made more expensive as Wheatens require sighthound safe anesthetic (to a cost of well over $3,000.00) which were absolutely UNNECCESSARY. She also suffered the UNDIAGNOSED BACK PAIN prior to our finding George. The money was not truly within our means, but I used my savings as I had been told she would return to a life of quality. MORE THAN THE MONEY, the physical PAIN I caused her by trusting a grossly unethical vet was far more vexing. It was unthinkable to me that a vet would LIE about such an issue and perform UNNECCESSARY surgery on my sweet doggo...but this is the absolute truth. I ADORE GEORGE because of his kindness and ethical conduct, his BRILLIANCE and his genuine empathy for all those who can not speak for themselves.

LOL I've even stopped in at closing for a last minute medication pick up, and was helped in a friendly manner without feeling like she "just wanted to go home" and I will always be appreciative of that. Dr. Robertson is a great vet...his bedside manner is up front. He just tells you straight what is going on without all the pretending to think your dog is the greatest ever, even though they all are ;) I also really like the fact that I'm not made to feel like a crappy dog owner if I don't want to go the most expensive course of treatment. I'm never sold anything I don't need or ask for, the prices are extremely reasonable, and the most important part is that I trust my senior with them. My dog has a recurring ear infection, and when I came back after a week of treatment to make sure I was doing his cleaning properly, they treated me with respect and my dog with dignity and I didn't feel bad for asking for help. Again, I want to stress that I have had nothing but positive experience with Dr. Robertson and his staff, and I would always recommend them :)
