It is sweltering HOT inside the store which makes it unpleasant to shop in, certainly not a place you want to wander around in and browse for additional items. There is one fan and aside from the summer heat there is also the heat from the refrigeration units. Any good business should know a golden rule is treat your staff well and watch your business grow. Instead the staff are stuck in this hot store which can't be fun, doing their best to help customers, who are grumpy from the heat outside and inside the store. PLEASE get some decent air cooling system for the many folks in this area who come to shop "local" but will start huffing it up the hill to an air conditioned a chain store next time to comfortably shop for all their pet supplies. Your customers want changes and for the staff to be treated better or we are going elsewhere.

The place had a doggie door and the sign stated pets were welcome. It had a warm welcoming feel to the store. I saw the brand I was looking for shortly after I arrived. I was really happy to find the size I was looking for as well ( I didn't want to have to haul around a huge bag with me ! ) Looked around a bit more, but didn't see much ferret stuff there ( we feed the ferrets high quality kitten food ) But wasn't surprised. When it was time, they had a nice, quiet room where they allowed me to sit with my dog for as long as I wanted until I was ready. It was a supportive and gentle experience during what was a really horrible thing to go through. They proactively reached out to my vet to let her know my dog had passed and sent me a card signed by their whole staff a week later. Based on this experience I would recommend this facility strongly.

There were 3 staff in the store - one was in training - and they were all very helpful and pleasant. They signed us up quickly and didn't make a fuss about it being late for our appointment. They gave us a big bag of treats for the pup, checking in about allergies just in case, before handing it over, and gave us a thorough tour of the washing station before leaving us to get on with the job. There were several choices of shampoos and conditioners; professional grooming restraint system; copious amounts of microfiber towels; an air dryer; and even an apron for me. Getting the pup in and out was easy peasy with the aid of a little staircase. There was no rush, even though on weekends you do need an appointment. During the week you don't. Cost is only $12 plus tax. Totally worth it.

This vet misdiagnosed my dog with kidney disease. Yelled at me because I wouldn't give her food…read moreshe's allergic to. Put her on a heavy round of antibiotics she didn't need. It ended up costing me over 1500$ and turned out to be a lack of estrogen which is an easy quick fix. She looked like she was dying and he kept insisting I keep her on the kidney meds. He didn't even do a UPC. Protein creatin urinalysis even though I was insistent she had no symptoms of kidney disease. Luckily I changed vets before he could do serious damage. Worst vet ever

It is with heavy heart that I must share with Cheryl, the owner of Kitty Salon, the news of the…read morepassing of my sweet beloved best friend Charlie. My Charlie was a very timid little guy after falling from my fifth floor balcony. If you came to my home you likely would never know he was there because everything and everyone frightened him into hiding, except of course his mama. After becoming disabled and leaving my profession 3 years ago Charlie had become everything to me and we rarely separated. He a was long haired messy little boy who required sedation to be groomed or have his nails cut but I took a chance and on the advice of my vet asked Cheryl to come to our home in hopes she might be able to groom him without medication. To say I was flabbergasted is putting it mildly. Cheryl was amazing and although it took a long time the first time she won Charlie over completely and did an outstanding job of taking care of his many mats and long nails. Her second visit was the same, trimming his nails and grooming him without sedation. It was not an easy task but she never gave up on him, taking her time, all the while soothing and comforting him. She became our friend, our private cat whisperer! Sadly, I lost Charlie a few weeks ago and I am beyond heartbroken. I still cry every day. He was the best thing that ever happened to me and Cheryl was the best thing that ever happened to Charlie. I will without a doubt call Cheryl again when I get up the courage to adopt another baby but there will never be another soul like my Charlie and there will never be another groomer and good friend like our Cheryl. Thank you Cheryl, I will never forget the care and comfort you have shown to both Charlie and his mama. xoxo

Nora is especially great, super caring and hands-on. There is an area for quiet dogs, active dogs and an adjacent outdoor space for their to get a bit of sunshine and to do their business. Overall it seems like a happy place for dogs and they are well looked after and cared for. I also like that my dogs come home smelling like themselves.
