Beef birria
Madison T.

Oh my word let me tell you what! We were on a road trip back home and the red pickle popped up as a restaurant suggestion. I am SO glad we stopped in. I had the best corned beef hash I've ever had (with plenty left over), a beef birria bowl (two specials at the time), and a huckleberry mojito. The food was killer, came out quickly, and service was great. I will think about that meal for a long time.

what a great friendly find we found on a last minute stay over in Ellensburg. The Chorizo Burger and Gauchito were amazing. and the flavor on the fries outstanding. What a fun place that you can see is probably a locals favorite.

Wow this place was an utter delight. One of the best meals I've had in a long time! The salmon with gritty and flavorful. Along with that the nachos had that crunch and spice, that was just perfect. Everything was fast, but not rushed like our table was being waited on. And the inside was like any bar or pub but it was extremely clean and had a cool and laidback kind of vibe.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They immediately brought water with a straw and crayons for the little one in our group. The strawberry balsamic vodka was really good. It was different than anything I've ever tried. It got better with every sip. The wasabi fries were a good starter. The amount of wasabi makes eating them manageable without completely emptying your sinuses. The taco fries were super good. Crispy fries and lots of meat. What an enjoyable lunch.

I was back in Ellensburg for an alumni event. I was early and wanted lunch. I chose the Red Pickle on 3rd street. Loved it! Friendly staff from the moment I walked in the door. The menu was casual: burgers, tacos, dogs, fries and such but with World fusion flavors. Chimichuri sauce burger with Wasabi fries. Delicious, reasonably priced and fun. Thank you.

Delicious and imaginative. We had a hard time choosing just two dishes to eat for lunch because everything in the menu was tempting. Then the food came out and it was even better. I may be in love with the wasabi fries; so sweet and spicy, the chefs here are courageous and adventurous. Do not hesitate to eat here, the food is great and the service is top notch.

Yelp never disappoints! On our way to see a concert at the Gorge with the family. Driving through Ellensburg, I told my husband to look on Yelp for a restaurant with 4 stars or above, literally never disappoints! The Red Pickle was excellent!! Cute location downtown, seating inside and out. We sat outside at the high tops, beautiful day. I tried the cheesesteak with Cajun fries, my husband tried the special steak sandwich with rosemary fries. My cheesesteak was delicious! Fries were awesome- I liked the rosemary fries the best- not just a hint of rosemary, strong rosemary taste- delicious! Kids both had the home made chicken nuggets- their only complaint is that they wish it came with more, but it was under "the not so hungry" section on the menu. Highly recommend- food and service was outstanding!

What an amazing experience at the guapo Fidelina's Taqueria. A little disappointed that the chips and salsa costed $3.50, but life is crazy these days. The go to food would be the Chimichanga! It was phenomenal! Perfectly fried and absolutely delicious. I would like to try other aspects of the menu one day. There are plenty of options and I was filled up to the brim of food. May the Lord bless and keep this place. May the Lord turn his eyes upon this space and be good!

Their chips are very crispy and fresh, and I really enjoyed the flavor of their salsa. The guac is chunky and delicious, tastes very fresh. My dinner buddy really enjoyed his tofu burrito, which he described as "so big, it's almost too big" and "the size of a baby". Can confirm it was the biggest burrito I have seen in a while. The al pastor was decent, although it did not have pineapple as Al pastor usually does, and strangely came with radishes and spring greens? A bit odd. The rice and beans were alright, not the best. Service was great, everyone there was very friendly and attentive and food came out quickly. We enjoyed sitting in their outdoor seating area, which was quite spacious.

La Santa Mexican Restaurant...YES!!! I've been meaning to…read moretry this restaurant for so long...and Friday was the day! I even went back on Saturday...and today..Monday! The drinks, the food, the service ...it was all fantastic! They have an extensive menu, and it's authentic Mexican food. It's different from any other mexican restaurant in town. Just try it once. I think you'll like it. HAPPY HOUR is M-F, 11am-3pm! Be sure to ask for the menu! I found out that La Santa and Roslyn Mexican Grill are owned by brothers and both are amazing...with a little different menu! La Santa is in the old Yellow Church building just a block off Main at Capitol and Pearl. 111 S Pearl.

Wasn't entirely sure what to expect at this Mexican place, but it ended up being pretty solid…read more I had the pork chili verde burrito. It was quite massive, coming on top of a green tomatillo salsa, and topped with melted cheese. While the melted cheese didn't really cover the full burrito - it was already fatty enough that I didn't mind it. The pork wasn't amazingly juicy or anything, but there were a lot of pieces inside (larger pieces than I expected). The rice and refried beans inside were decent as well. I also liked the amount of green tomatillo salsa the burrito sat in. It provided a fresh, slightly sour flavor that took away a bit from the fattiness. Like I already mentioned, this burrito was absolutely gargantuan. It did cost a good amount at over $20, but you could easily share this with other person and leave satisfied. Also, the salsa provided with the chips at the start was actually spicy and quite good. Overall, it's nothing mindblowing, but it's decent Mexican food in a town with not much outside of fast food. 7.25/10
