Stayed at the The Red Lion 42a High Street, Heytesbury, Warminster and was pleased with the double room accommodation. This Public House was purchased by a couple about a few months ago and is in the process of transforming it in a pleasant and enjoyable B&B.
It has a large garden and a play area at the rear of the B&B.
A carpark is available on site.
The B&B has four bedrooms and the one that we stayed in was very clean and tasfully decorated.
My partner and I, We are very fussy about bed sheets and this B&B offered clean and crisp bed sheets,coffee/tea facility,a flat screen TV,DVD player with optional renting of a selection of films, hairdryer available.
The bathroom is spotlessly clean and has a bath ,shower and clean towels.
The breakfast (full english, kipper, cereal)was tasty and with a generous proportion.
As it is also a Public house you have to accept that there will be an element of noise until closing time.
The Public house has an eating area where you can purchased a meal etc.
Overall we found this B&B in a village location to be of good quality if you want to visit the surrounding areas e.g Longleat House and Safai Park which is only about a 10 minutes journey by car from the B&B read more
