I checked the place and I was amazed by the size of the putting green and the indoor simulator bays. This one looks like a golf man cave and every golfer will enjoy the activities they offer. The shop has a lot to offer for all levels. If you live around Oakley or Brentwood, you don't have to drive far to get your golf accessories, such as golf balls, bags, and gloves. You can get a better rate if you do a bigger package. Who is Patrick best for? In my opinion, Patrick will give the best bang for buck for someone who already has a gameable swing (scoring in the 80s to 100s), has decent body awareness, and is looking for an instructor who will notice the small details that are costing a player 5-10 strokes a round. Read the reviews already here and most of them are from people who have already been playing for some time. After a single lesson, I can already tell Patrick's attention to detail is superb. The day after my lesson (I generally have wavered between a high single digit and low double digit index), I shot +3 through 11 from the back tees. Getting to a 5 index this year seems realistic now. If you're completely new to golf, you can find cheaper instructors who will give you a basic understanding of the swing. They will generally all tell you the same thing, and it will likely take you some time to get your body used to the golf swing. Once you feel like you can make contact on 8/10 balls at the range on a consistent basis, or are scoring in about the 110s, then come in to Patrick to really mold your swing. For the love of God though, do not try to coach yourself through YouTube.

Palm Tree Golf & Weddings offered all inclusive pricing (like Wedgewood) with catering, DJ, florist, and more. We worked with several coordinators to ensure a seamless celebration. I know a lot goes into planning and you hope for a perfect day. Despite some hiccups, the entire staff and ownership wanted to make sure everything was right. Our ceremony was beautiful in their outdoor gazebo with nice lighting. The sun will set directly behind your guests. Along with appetizer stations which also included passed hors d'oeuvres, we had an open bar for cocktail hour. Our dinner service was a buffet of chicken, salmon, and prime rib with two kinds of potato, rice and salads. There was plenty of food and everyone complimented how good the food was. Good portions and great taste, especially the prime rib. The venue uses iMobile DJs and our DJ was Eugene Macala. He was great and kept the energy and crowd engaged. Our cake was made by La Gateau, who provided a ton of samples to try before finalizing the cake selection. Florist was Paula's in Antioch that made the centerpieces and head table. Our Filipino dessert table was from La Bulakenya. We also had a private bridal suite which was connected to the women's restroom with plenty of room to store your personal belongings. I was able to bring in third party vendors, which was very important. I had violinist, Rose Crelli, who was simply amazing. I had a portrait artist, Amy Wong, Photo Booth by UrOn Photography, and sticker vending machine by Stickerella. Our guests are still raving about how fun our wedding was. At first, it was a…read morebit hard to get a hold of someone, I sent an online inquiry/email, and then I called to leave a voicemail. Once we got in touch with them, the communication was smooth. This is a members-only club for most of their area, so they'd have specific doors for the wedding guests to enter in from (it won't be from the main entrance). The door would lead straight to the wedding area though, and the layout was great. Overall, I'd say the venue was great and the tour was very informational/professional. It was easy to envision how the wedding would be like there. Price-wise, it was actually very reasonable for the quote, especially with how spacious the area is. We loved the space, the scenery, they also provide a coordinator so you don't need to worry about finding one outside. However, we decided to pass since there wasn't an option for us to try out the food prior to signing the contract. We'd also have to pre-select the food for tasting, and if we didn't like it, we'd have to pay extra to come back for it. Since the drive is 1.5hr long, we didn't want to risk having to do the back and forth just to settle on the food (and what if we just didn't like the food? That was the risk too). This venue was definitely top 3 on our final list though.
