I had a high profile murder trial. Went thru several parole attorneys. This group of people were…read moreable to get my case before the parole board & secure my release having served less than 15years. They went down avenues others never thought of. As a result I have been living a life of freedom that I am very thankful for.

This review is based upon my experience with Michael Kennedy McIntyre & Associates. You may…read moreexperience a different result if you decide to secure their services. I am writing this review on Michael Kennedy McIntyre, an attorney who practices exclusively in field of post conviction law in Atlanta, Georgia. Michael Kennedy McIntyre & Associates law office is located at 965 Virginia Avenue, Atlanta, Georgia 30306, the firm website is georgiapostconviction.com, and can be contacted at (404) 879-1515. I signed an agreement with Michael Kennedy McIntyre to obtain and review relevant documents, and to identify the appropriate course of action for my wife to receive relief from her conviction and sentence with Georgia Department of Corrections. Upon Michael Kennedy McIntyre's review he made the determination to represent my wife with the Georgia Pardons and Parole Board. To that end, Michael Kennedy McIntyre submitted a letter to the Parole Board, informing the Parole Board that Michael Kennedy McIntyre's firm has been retained to represent my wife's case for parole, which at that time a parole date "was not" established. Throughout July, August, and September 2011 Michael Kennedy McIntyre was paid $18,143.70 to appropriately prepare and present my wife case with the Parole Board. In late November 2011, I contacted the Parole Board and found out that my wife had already been issued a parole date in October 2011, meaning Michael Kennedy McIntyre & Associates in my opinion never prepared a case that he was aptly paid to prepare. In addition, Michael Kennedy McIntyre billed me another $9,475.00 to continue to prepare the case even after Michael Kennedy McIntyre was made aware from the Parole Board that my wife received a parole date. Mr. McIntyre never disclosed this information to me until I personally notified him of the parole date being issued, without any input from Michael Kennedy McIntyre's firm. It is my belief that Michael Kennedy McIntyre duplicitously withheld information regarding my wife's parole date for his own personal financial gain. In closing, I paid Mr. McIntyre the amount of $27,618.70 and would not recommend his services.

The Tiny Doors ATL is so unique to Atlanta. These doors are located all over Atlanta and most of…read morethem are accessible to the public! A couple of doors that I saw that required tickets to the event/location were the Georgia Aquarium and Botanical Garden tiny doors. I have visited many tiny doors and have even spent a day looking for them. Each door is uniquely designed for the place it is located. Each door was so special that it's hard to choose a favorite. I would recommend looking for them if you are visiting a place where one is nearby, but I wouldn't recommend dedicating time to search for these. The Tiny Doors ATL website has a map that locates each of the tiny doors with pictures, names, and number. Enjoy the views and happy finding! Since the Tiny Doors ATL art project started at the Krog Street Tunnel in July 2014, founder and…read moreartist Karen Anderson Singer has become a local celebrity. At the time of writing this review, there are over 20 public art installations of tiny 7-inch doors throughout Atlanta. Each was handmade and installed by Singer who, according to CBS Sunday Morning and CNN, takes anywhere from 40 to 60 hours to make a single door. She described them as a "love note to Atlanta." Once the doors are installed, they are maintained too. The doors are really cool and unique to the City of Atlanta. Atlanta is lucky to have Singer. From the East Atlanta Village Farmers Market to the Swan House in Buckhead, Tiny Doors have been popping up in places all over ATL. During the 2021 NBA Playoffs, Singer even unveiled a door at State Farm Arena with Atlanta Hawks legend Dominique Wilkins and CEO Steve Koonin: https://www.instagram.com/p/CQuTUF-r87C/. You can check out all of Singer's amazing work on Instagram at @tinydoorsatl: https://www.instagram.com/tinydoorsatl/. My personal favorite doors have been Door #21 on the new Atlantic Green in Atlantic Station, unveiled in October 2020, and Door #658 in Inman Park near the border with Old Fourth Ward. Door #658 was originally unveiled at the Hotel Indigo in Midtown in 2019. It's now located at the Edge OTB apartment complex, facing the Atlanta BeltLine's Eastside Trail. The door is numbered 658 because it's 658 times the size of a standard 7-inch Tiny Door. I uploaded pictures of these two doors to Tiny Doors ATL's listing here on Yelp. As a homeowner in Atlantic Station since before the retail portion of the development opened in 2005, I'm proud to have Singer and Tiny Doors ATL as a neighbor and officially Atlantic Station's "Artist in Residence" as of April 2020. Tiny Doors' studio address is: 1380 Atlantic Drive Suite 14100 Atlanta, GA 30363 Park in the Atlantic Station garage near stairwell 10 (green color). The first two hours of parking is free. I recommend entering and exiting the garage via 16th Street which puts you on level P2. It's much easier to get in and out that way (less traffic/congested). Tiny Doors' studio doors opened to the public for the first time on July 17, 2020. Since then, Tiny Doors ATL has held Open Studio hours where the public can meet Karen Anderson Singer, see works retired and in progress, and browse and purchase #TinyDoorsATL merchandise. Check out Atlantic Station's events page (https://atlanticstation.com/event/tiny-doors-atl-open-studio/all/) and Tiny Doors' Linktree (https://linktr.ee/tinydoorsatl) to see future Open Studio dates and hours as well as a helpful map of where you can find Tiny Doors around Atlanta. Upcoming Tiny Doors ATL Open Studio hours are: * Saturday, November 20, 2021, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM * Saturday, December 18, 2021, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM Recently, Open Studio has taken place the third Saturday of every month.
