Eight in the morning or 10pm at night I will hear a dog. I don't blame the dogs, love them! BUT management shouldn't be allowing anyone to sign a lease here especially with animals that won't be taken well care of. Read people out, don't just have anyone sign a lease so you can get money. I know for many people it's their first year here and I honestly think after half of these people lease is up the apartments will be destroyed due to lack of care towards their animals! I can't imagine how much the dogs need to go inside due to not being taken out enough! These are apartments the dogs don't have a bunch of space to roam, they are enclosed to at most a three bedroom apartment! Most have kennels for their dogs so even less space especially if you leave them in a kennel when you leave! If you can't train a dog do NOT have one! Especially in an apartment! I like maintenance they are helpful when needed. But management should get someone to clean the hallways more often, there is always something on the ground, I have seen dog poop in the hallway that wasn't cleaned up for two whole days. Plus it wouldn't be the worst to clean the elevator corners from excessive dog hair. Dogs are not at all the issue I'm glad this is a pet friendly place but it is certain few dog owners who don't take good care of their animals and management allowing it. Highkey animal abuse, I shouldn't be hearing a dog howl at 10pm ever.

It was a special treat to move into a brand new apartment which had not been occupied previously. There are lots of good things to be said about Crossroads. The leasing manager is friendly and helpful. The fitness area is clean and not busy. The underground garage is nice, clean, and brightly lighted. A coffee bar in the lobby is available 24/7 and has me addicted to afternoon lattes. We needed short-term housing and were grateful to be able to sign a six-month lease without paying a premium. Move-in was very easy. The location directly across from Elm Creek Park is perfect for walkers and cyclists with quick access to the southwest corner of the park's trails. We don't have a dog, but it seems that a majority of Crossroads residents do. The negative things about renting at Crossroads? All of our maintenance requests have been addressed quickly and efficiently, but it's a little concerning that it's been two months since the previous maintenance person left and he hasn't been replaced yet. Also, the brochure indicates that there's a car wash bay, but there isn't one. Our biggest complaint really is that there doesn't seem to be very good soundproofing between the floors. We're on 2nd floor, and we hear our upstairs neighbor stomping around all day long. If she's not pounding across the floor then we hear her chair sliding in and out from the table. Our living room, bathroom, and kitchen all have a hard vinyl plank floor surface so maybe that contributes to the noise problem. Or maybe our neighbor, a small woman, is an extraordinarily heavy walker. Based on our experience though I would recommend only renting on the third (too) floor here.

I have had over 6 packages lost and management said they looked in Locker for them. They didn't as I discovered the original packages delivered to same locker. 2. For 2 months I was charged 40 dollars (2x normal cost) for garbage for a 1 bedroom apartment. They said this cost was due to people throwing mattresses etc in garbage. The companies policy was to pass this cost to all residents. 3. They require a parking pass, even for the cars in the garage where an opener and I have assigned parking. Last week I purchased new vehicle after hours and parked in my assigned spot, which I pay for. My car was towed. I have spoken with management here and they don't hear complaints. I have called what this company calls peak cares and left numerous messages. I don't get response. I'm sharing here to help others in making a decision on doing business with this company, it's in dire need of an under new management sign!

As a previous review put it, "slum lords" is right. One of the worst apartments I have ever seen or…read morelived in. They do a bait and switch with the deposit and rent raising it above the advertised price by hundred of dollars only after they take your deposit without asking. They asked for a debit card number to verify employment and then took out a large sum of money saying it was to cover the deposit and first months rent without even asking first... oh and BTW the apartment isn't going to be ready for another 3 months. So not only did I have to couch surf for 3 months before I could move in, but they completely emptied my bank account. When they gave me a walkthrough of the apartment they randomly had what they said was "tenants" in the apartment cooking shrimp so I couldn't smell anything and they claimed to have outdoor smoking areas which led me to believe it was smoking outside only. Come to find out during my second trip while moving in that the whole place smelt like an ashtray and you could even visibly see the smoke coming in through the vents. The apartment was a wreck when I moved in (I had never seen it unfurnished) there was paint splatter everywhere, holes in the vinyl flooring, dirt and grime everywhere, a fridge that would barely open because they put one in that was too big, a fire hazard built in heater from the 1980s that was perpetually on and could not be turned off. The front door barely locked and I regularly had someone trying to break into the apartment. When I reported to management they asked "Why would someone want to break into your apartment. Do you have nice things in there?" Are you serious???? After that they told me there was nothing they could do and to call the police. When I brought up the door they said they would send someone out but never did. A few months into my stay the city closed down the entire street leading into the apartment so you would have to wait (sometimes 30 minutes to an hour) to enter or exit the building on an off-road path that was very difficult for anything besides and SUV or truck. A few months after that all of the furnaces broke and would make an insanely loud noise ever 5-10 minutes during all hours of the night and day and were not fixed for over 3 months. They were still making noise by the time I left... oh and when I say noisy I mean airplane taking off, window rattling, loud noise that would last for 5 minutes at a time and would wake everyone up. I could hear the neighbors screaming about it since it was driving everyone over the edge. To make matters worse I did all of the repairs and tidied the place up during my stay so that when I left it was in better condition than when I arrived. They told me I would be forced to use my deposit to hire a cleaning crew and when I told them I had everything needed to do a professional cleaning myself they reluctantly agreed. The lease agreement was so awful and one sided that if you left before the year you could be paying rent on the apartment while they did renovations and would be responsible for an additional 1k charge just because. They were almost a month late in returning my deposit (which is actually against the law) and when I received it back I found out they had charged me to update concrete on the patio that was old and cracked because of the weather and said that I was responsible for paying the first half a month electricity and water for the next tenant. This place is a nightmare. Stay far away.

OK I am moving in September to a nicer place in Rogers. This place started off great but INH…read moreProperties are clearly slum lords. The building rugs when you walk in the complex are filthy the walls have patched paint jobs all over them. The Washers are broken for weeks at a time (currently 1 broken out of 3 for 2 weeks now, before that one was broken for 3 weeks) They cant control other tenants, but the tenants here (Now) steal your packages, leave clothes in washer for literally hours and the oh so nice building manager does nothing (nice being sarcastic) The new maintenance man and cleaning lady are amazing but can only do so much, the other Maintanance man is the building managers father (yep) so your in a no win situation, INH is aware of this and does nothing. They now charge for water, yet 99.9% of the time water softener is empty and your paying for hard water. I rent a garage but in the winter good luck getting into it as they don't plow at least until 3-4 days after the snow. The driveway is solid ice as they sand they wont salt. I have talked to INH a few times, they play a good game how much they dislike the current manager were so sorry etc etc but 3 years it hasn't changed. The apartments are 1980 style, with 3-4" of ice on Windows during the winter its steam pipe heat so never overly warm in the apartments. I smoke here and there, but do so on patio my neighbors with 3 people in a 1 bedroom smoke ALL the time the hallway stinks my guest room smells like smoke again, I smoke but not inside my place. 1 wall unit AC they you need to blow fans into rooms to cool them. Bottom line look elsewhere, the only cool thing about this place it was close to work and I met some cool friends. They all left for the same reasons. I am getting a higher end place with a washer and dryer in the unit to avoid all the things I dealt with while living here. It started off cool right after my divorce but they tend to rent to people you don't want as neighbors who steals your packages? of course Breanna (bling manager) says "Yea we get that complaint a lot" Run don't walk from this place, you can do much much much better!
