David-Maintenance staff is amazing, very detailed in making sure the concerns or issues are resolved and completed to the highest standards. Lisa- Property Manager is very engaging with residents. Recently we had our first issue in our apartment --it was a two week process however, Lisa personally called with updates and even picked up the phone to call me when I sent emails. (In which she responded in writing as well). That made a stressful situation more manageable and I really appreciated that. I have renewed my lease for another yea! I was a bit concerned over the increase parking amount however, we chose to pay it and eliminate my ice Cream indulgence lol. Today my wife came home to find that our private underground parking space had been assigned to someone else. We pay almost $100 a month for that spot and to have them reassign it over a week before we leave is unacceptable. Parking has long been a sore spot at the Reserve, to help they started charging for outside unassigned parking. People park all over the place and they threaten to tow cars but I've never seen it done.

It was a special treat to move into a brand new apartment which had not been occupied previously. There are lots of good things to be said about Crossroads. The leasing manager is friendly and helpful. The fitness area is clean and not busy. The underground garage is nice, clean, and brightly lighted. A coffee bar in the lobby is available 24/7 and has me addicted to afternoon lattes. We needed short-term housing and were grateful to be able to sign a six-month lease without paying a premium. Move-in was very easy. The location directly across from Elm Creek Park is perfect for walkers and cyclists with quick access to the southwest corner of the park's trails. We don't have a dog, but it seems that a majority of Crossroads residents do. The negative things about renting at Crossroads? All of our maintenance requests have been addressed quickly and efficiently, but it's a little concerning that it's been two months since the previous maintenance person left and he hasn't been replaced yet. Also, the brochure indicates that there's a car wash bay, but there isn't one. Our biggest complaint really is that there doesn't seem to be very good soundproofing between the floors. We're on 2nd floor, and we hear our upstairs neighbor stomping around all day long. If she's not pounding across the floor then we hear her chair sliding in and out from the table. Our living room, bathroom, and kitchen all have a hard vinyl plank floor surface so maybe that contributes to the noise problem. Or maybe our neighbor, a small woman, is an extraordinarily heavy walker. Based on our experience though I would recommend only renting on the third (too) floor here.

I'd still be living there if it weren't for the data mining operation sponsored and facilitated by upper corporate management. I work in the tech industry so when I received a random email from a company I'd never heard of I knew something was off. "PetScreening" was saying my management was requiring me to sign up for this service and that my profile was "out of compliance" I would have bet money this was a phishing attack. Management never told me about this 3rd party service, I had to ask to confirm it wasn't a cyber attack. I looked at the privacy policy and this 3rd party service was harvesting all sorts of data unrelated to pets such as my place of employment, "data inferences", web browser cookie information, etc, and sending it all to another set of third parties. Management confirmed this was a real service. When I asked them three basic questions: * Is this required by my current lease * If so, are there non-invasive alternatives * If not, justify why I must sign up for this service and give up my data. They didn't respond for an entire month. It was when I got fed up with all of the "out of compliance" emails I was getting from PetScreening that I heard anything from them. After too much back and forth, lots of anxiety and frustration, I found out that it would be required on my lease renewal *nine months* from when I was receiving those emails. I also found out that I could "opt out" of the data collection by performing some nonsense in the PetScreening portal. The point is, I've moved on, I'm still getting "out of compliance" PetScreening emails, and I've come to find out that my former management can't unsubscribe me from those emails. It's *my* responsibility to reach out and ask I be taken off the list. I've lived many places in my life and most of them didn't look as nice as this place. But this is the scummiest place I've ever lived. Don't be fooled by the smells, pleasant decor, welcome packages. The corporate management only wants your data and your money and the local management is powerless to do anything to protect you.

Beth Sauderland is a vile woman who speaks so disgustingly and is so unprofessional. I've never met someone so snarky and rude in that position. It's clear to see she treats her employees the same. They go against their lease agreement, find ways to charge you extra, and cover their butts along the way. This whole establishment is a joke. Do not move here.

They made me wait 10 minutes my first visit and about 30 my second before visiting an apartment. I was pretty sold on renting with them after my second visit with the correct sized apartment although i got home and realized the apartment they were going to place me in was a second floor apartment. I was pretty frustrated and opted to seek housing elsewhere. This is a huge bummer because their apartments are gorgeous, spacious, and they appear to be very nice individuals. Although i prefer upfront communication, honesty, and to know what I'm signing up for versus moving into an apartment that will not work for me and then needing to move (they also mentioned to me that many renters do move apartments and I suspect this is why). They did a good job of follow up text and calls as well. Giving me time to think and make decisions.

Needless to say, there aren't many floorplans out there that fit my need. Towards the end of my search I was surprised to find The Bluestone floorplan at Stoneleigh, which fit my requirements. During my tour, I admired the design and finish of the apartment building, and then the apartments themselves. I didn't see other apartments in this price range (sub-$2,000) with crown molding, subtle wall accent color, 1000+ sq ft, and even in-unit full-size washer/dryers. However, I would have preferred a more functional breakfast bar, a bit more kitchen counter space, and a gas range in lieu of the electric stove. Stoneleigh is a large complex with over 300 apartments spread across four buildings. The main building is pet-free and hosts two fitness centers, two common areas that can be rented for the day, along with the leasing offices. Speaking of leasing, ask for Barbara when you visit, as she was a joy to work with and on top of all of the paperwork with appropriate follow-up. There is a lovely large pool outside the main building, with charcoal grills beyond in a shaded picnic area (no propane grills available). Grocery stores, a Target, Starbucks, and the like are all a 5-minute drive away. A major bicycle trail heads north to Maple Grove from this complex.

At Stoneleigh, a team of customer care professionals are there to assist you in the way that you would receive assistance at a 5 star resort. o I listed a competent, responsive maintenance team. Stoneleigh offers world class maintenance service from an exceptional team led by Roger and Curt. I delayed buying a condo for an extra year because I didn't want to be "on my own" without these two teams. A sign of a great leader is one who won't ask his team to do anything he is not willing to do. Andrew models "leading by example." If you are looking for a short term transitional solution or a long term living solution, you will want to visit Stoneleigh.

Last night, we were sitting in our living room watching TV while warmed by our fireplace. Today, their technician comes out, takes it apart, cleans it, "condemns" it, disables it, and generally charges me $300 to turn a fireplace that works 99% of the time into a fireplace that works 0% of the time. He said the cause was a piece of tubing that had sprung a hole. Tubing! A place that sells gas-powered fireplaces couldn't replace tubing! The only reason I had them out was that none of the other repair places I found would "service that brand."

All I was looking for were a couple of clamps to finish the installation of my wood burning insert. This guy obviously had no clue what he was talking about and kept insisting that these circular clamps need to be manufacturer specific. He went on so long about it that the customer he was initially talking with left the building - I figured she saw an opening and hit the road. I ended up finding the stainless clamps at a near by big box hartdware store. My advice to the owners of FH&H - find a new showroom sales rep - this guy does not have what you need.
