The service technician confirmed that the jet pump motor had failed and verified that the replacement jet pump motor is covered under the manufacturer's warranty. Given that the failure was determined to be a warranty-covered defect, I do not believe I should be responsible for the diagnostic service charge. I purchased this hot tub with the expectation that warranty-covered failures would be handled without imposing significant out-of-pocket costs simply to confirm a defective component. Charging customers a substantial service fee to diagnose and validate a warranty claim undermines the value of the warranty itself. I respectfully request reimbursement of the $249.00 service fee, or an explanation of why this charge is not covered when the repair has been confirmed as a valid warranty claim. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to a fair resolution.

My wife and I attended a Premier Pool Open House at their offices with the intent to just "to…read morelook". We met Jeremy and he gave us an idea of what to they do, what to expect, and some light design options from the showroom. He offered to visit our house to make measurements so that he could create some design mockups of possibilities. Within a week or two, Jeremy sent us a "first look". We asked for a few edits here and there given we had no ideas where we wanted to go with it as we completely leveled our existing yard and kept nothing. We were amazed by the first drafts given that we didn't think a pool would fit in our yard comfortably. Jeremy was extremely patient with the design iterations as we played around with ideas. The designs sold us and we were all in! Initially we thought it would take 6-8 weeks for permits to be pulled after we gave the green light to proceed. They ended up being approved in less than a week and we broke ground about week later. Premier was extremely fast with their team of contractors and subcontractors from demolition to full completion. From breaking ground to filling with water was less than a three-month turnaround. With several of those weeks the result of Christmas to New Year's vacation and time it takes for various components like decking or pool interior to cure. Premier was great with communication in terms of letting us know each morning who was coming on any given day. Usually we heard from Jeremy and our construction manager Teo a day or two earlier than Premier's automated emails on next steps. While Jeremy and Teo were clear, it was nice to receive the emails to make sure we heard everything correctly. Pros: Showroom has too many option to choose from! LOL! From textures to colors, there was almost too many. They even recommended visiting tile shops if we wanted to explore other colors. Jeremy was extremely polite and patient. He was readily available by both text and email for any questions we had. Teo was also great at stopping by to check on progress and see if we had any questions. He was also readily available by text message. We had them install a specialty BaduJet Turbo Pro. We pointed them to the website and they took care of all specs to fabricate the pool around it, all additional electrical work, and all additional plumbing. Recommendations for Premier: It would be great if some of the subcontractors were brought "in house" to provide full wraparound services. We opted to install tempered glass so that the pool could be enlarged and moved closer to the house. But we had to coordinate that on our own with a window contractor. We will use their subcontractor to install rock facades on our house. It would be great if they could have done in under the Premier contract at the same time they were doing the pool facades. I get it, they do pools, not houses. Premier took care of all the electrical, water, and gas hook ups that were related to the pool. We had to work with a couple of the subcontractors on the side to add additional sprinkler lines and move some electrical wiring on the side. Those also would have been great if it was done under the Premier contract as well. Premier's contractors and subcontractors obviously knew what they were doing so they pool just kind of came together. It would be great if Premier had a larger portfolio album of actual photos of pools so that we knew in advance what we were getting. We "trusted the process" and it all came together, but I could see some clients desiring to know more in advance. We subcontracted out the construction of a custom kitchen island because Premier doesn't build them (again, because they build pools), providing subcontractors provides another opportunity for Premier to be full service.

Our concrete is completely lifted from the ground and will most likely break soon and our pool sweep that comes with the pool does not work and has honestly never really worked. This is a cautionary tale! I've spent almost 10 thousand…read moredollars with Santana Landscape Hardscape in the last 4 months. My first experience 4 thousand dollars was satisfactory enough that I felt OK having them back. However, the second experience was a complete disaster! Initially it took several calls to David and several missed appointments to even connect. David and I finally got together to discuss the work and I was given a tentative price of $6500.00, to"oh maybe $7000.00" for cement work and sprinkler repair. While discussing the work we downgraded from the original cement work requested, to lava rock, and then another downgrade from lava rock, to bark chips. Each time we discussed the downgraded medium, I was told by David that it would be a "big cost savings to me". When the work was finally done and the workers left there was a huge pile of debris in my front yard (picture below). I was told they would come back in one to two days to remove the mess! While the work was being done David was nowhere around and there was no one to walk the final job with me or to explain what had been done. As I checked the "finished" work myself, I found that the drip-system, that was requested and agreed upon, did not exist, the repairs to the existing sprinkler system still had several leaks, our gravel driveway had huge gouges, holes and divots from maneuvering their trucks around and most heart breaking the pile of debris in the front yard was thrown on top of an ornamental swan planter, a memento from our daughters wedding. I had to lift one of the rail road ties off the swan myself...I'm 78 years old! But the final blow was when one of the workers told me that David had asked that I give him the check for final payment of $6900.00. Where was the savings from the down grade from cement work, to lava rock, to bark chips? I should have said NO and had David come and explain the bill to me himself! I did talk to David about the unsatisfactory workmanship and missing items which have since been completed, but this experience has left me with a very negative impression of Santana Landscaping and a caution for others to make sure you get a quote in writing!

He made sure I understood how everything was connected and how the different components work. The setup came out clean, professional, and exactly how I wanted it. A few hiccups, but they were always dealt with in a respectful way and timely manner. We recently ended service with them only because we are trying to sell our home and we are trying to cut costs. We figured we could maintain the pool ourselves through the rest of the year. We called and were able to cancel our monthly service with them pretty easily. They were kind and helpful, but no information was given about the way they would leave the pool on their final service. Their departure, unfortunately, was disappointing and ended up costing us almost $400 to fix their mistake which actually defeated the entire purpose of trying to do this on our own to save money. I'm not sure if it's standard practice to leave everything with the pool completely OFF, but some notice and communication would have been nice. Everything was turned off. There was no power going into our pool. The filter, vacuum, pump, everything was turned off and in August heat this was a disaster for algae to grow. We didn't notice it until it was too late. I guess it grows quick in the heat because 2 separate trips to the pool store and $400 later we were able to get the pool back, but what a disappointment. I thought we had a week from the time Nevergreen serviced our pool until we needed to worry about it, but that was being under the impression that the filter, pump, vacuum etc was still running and keeping things clean. I do want to note that I really enjoyed our pool guy - I wish I remembered his name! Austin? He was super nice and helpful and when he learned we were cancelling he even took some time to show me a few things about the pool and equipment. Super helpful. I don't blame him. I don't imagine it would be his responsibility to communicate with me those details and he doesn't see me every week regardless. I am more upset with the back office and the lack of communication (no call or email explaining what to expect) when closing out an account and not going over the way things will end. Unless this is not common practice -- if everything should have been left on as it was, then I'm sorry to whoever services our pool lol I don't want to get him specifically in trouble, but this was a very costly mistake for us in an already difficult financial time.
