In short, STAY AWAY!…read more I cannot believe what awful service we have received since using Nashville Pool Company for our family's backyard pool. We had the pool installed almost 10 years now. A salt water pool to be precise. While it was more expensive to install, after weighing our options we decided it was the right choice for us. When we hired Nashville Pool Company we thought we were getting responsible pool service company that was very reasonably priced. We were obviously very wrong about that though. After a little while of using their services we started to notice bills charging for service visits that were never performed. When we called the company to straighten it out they were always rude and would say we had no proof, insisting that their men had come on a day we had been in the backyard from morning to night. So we must have just missed the strange man coming into our backyard while we were gardening to clean the pool in which the kids were swimming? Yeah, that must have been it... It's easy to have competitive prices when your business practices are less than ethical. But that wasn't the end of our troubles with them. After repeatedly asking the pool cleaners to clean the filters, which I understand takes some time and is not very glamorous, we were only getting grumbles and excuses. Then a little while later we saw one man putting chlorine in the pool. We asked him why and he said that they had made it a chlorine pool (without consulting us, the owners, I might add). We asked why and they responded that the filter was clogged so they couldn't add more salt. Well do your job and clean the filter then! Don't make excuses and then cost us over $1K in repairs! And to top it off, on their last visit to our house, we asked them to clean part of the pool. They responded saying that they didn't have the appropriate chemical. Thankfully we had some in the garage so I pulled it out and asked if they could use that. Grumble, grumble, grumble some more but they finally agreed to clean it. Then the bill comes around and we were charged for a whole thing of the chemical! Even though it came from my garage? I tried to get in touch with the owner or manager to correct the billing mistake and instead I was yelled at and called a liar over the phone. The lady I spoke to then threatened to send bill collectors after us if I didn't pay. All I wanted to do was talk to someone about an error on a bill! Of course I paid, what else could I do? All in all I would say that Nashville Pool Co has provided me with the worst customer service that I have ever received in my life. On top of that they weaseled hundreds of extra dollars out of us for inventory that wasn't theirs and services that they didn't provide. I hope my review can save someone else out there from the headaches that come along with interacting with this company.

I say opening but really it took from the end of April until the end of June for them to actually open it and clean the water/vacuum etc They tried to charge us for the pleasure after using our chemicals and the pool still being green and full of leaves and stuff from spring, the Polaris disconnected and the columns from winterizing still in the skimmers. This was whilst we had family staying from the UK who really wanted to use the pool and hot tub and were around every day watching the shady dealings of this company from the deck doing everything but opening the pool and cleaning up. We had many prior bad experiences the year before but thought that given they'd installed the pool initially that they'd be best to help maintain it. That was a mistake and I'd never trust them again. The amount of lies they tried to tell us was incredulous and frankly they are very expensive to boot. Also the rudeness of the way the owner spoke with my wife was shocking and very disrespectful. Thankfully we mutually agreed to not do business anymore. There is no situation that I would ever recommend this pool company to anyone. No agendas here and only a fraction of the stories I could tell about this company in the 2 years we used them.

I had been having fits with my pool sweep not getting the bottom of the pool cleaned. The other company tried for seven months to fix the issue but they weren't successful (and they charged me each time). I called Ken and explained the circumstances to him. He said he had some availability later that evening and swung by the house. In a matter of a few minutes, Ken analyzed the issue, got parts from his truck and fixed it!!! We decided to have Ken maintain our pool since! Over the last four months, Ken shows up when he's supposed to, our chemicals are typically well balanced, and our pool sweep is still performing well. Keenan and Aaron cam out and checked the equipment and gave us some recommendations- which we took and replaced the screaming pump with a variable pump that is whisper quiet. Everyone is both professional and friendly. We will use JAG pools forever. Also, the water testing service is so nice!

He told me he wasn't worried about the sharp pin like points sticking up and that it would compromise the sides of the pool if he tried to vacuum or sweep under there to get the larger items left underneath. I expressed my concerns because over time as the automatic cleaner goes over those sharp points it will wear holes in the liner. i Just want the job done correctoy. This is a replacement liner. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I was forced to use them the last 4…read more1/2 months due to being a renter of a large house in Nashville. This is the company that our non disclosed maintenance company uses for the properties that they maintain. First issue is that they continually refuse to call ahead and let you know when they will be coming. They show up any random day at any random time. If you have pets outside, this can be an issue. They will also skip a week whenever they want if you are on weekly maintenance. They will not call to notify you either. Just a no show, no call. They say they don't call because they have the wrong number on file even though I've talked with the owner via cell phone and text several times before. Then when they are given 2 good phone numbers again they still won't call to let you know they are en route or on site. Second, 3 weeks ago the pool tech turned all the valves off on the pump and kept the pump running and left. It ran for over 6 hours and the pump and pipes got so hot it melted the glue joints on the pool plumbing pipes and it leaked water and sucked in air. It took them 4 days to come out and repair it. Third, when they decide on their own to skip a week, they will not even call you. Then the pool goes 2 weeks without maintenance or chemicals added. Algae will start to grow on the walls, floor and steps. Then when the tech comes out, he will spend less than 10 minutes on site and not scrub any of the algae off. And left the pool with 0 chlorine level with rampant algae growing. No shock treatment or anything. Then after immediately calling and complaining they send the same tech back at 5 pm. He spent less than 7 minutes on site with less than 3 minutes of scrubbing. This is all on ring camera footage. I went out afterwards and scrubbed 1/2 a step myself and texted the owner Alex with photos. He did not and has not responded. This is after the maintenance company has already spoken to him after the first failed cleaning. A bit of humor, my 9 year old son comes up to me that evening and ask "Why is the pool so green?". My response was, "I don't know, we just had it professionally cleaned twice today. I'll clean it tomorrow. The next morning I woke up and cleaned the pool myself and added enough chemicals to shock the pool and kill off the algae. See attached photos. 1st photo is after the first cleaning on 8/27. 2nd photo is after the tech came back the same day on 8/27 at 4:53 pm. 3rd photo is after I spent 3 minutes cleaning half of the top step on 8/27 at 5:15 pm just after the tech left the second time. 4th and 5th photo are after I cleaned the pool myself the next morning on 8/28. 6th photo is a copy of my text to Alex the owner on 8/27. This company is a disgrace and should not be in business. They do not even deserve the one star rating but I had to give them one star.
