I LOVE KIM! I have a list of why I loved working with Kim during my wedding planning process: - Very professional - Prompt on calls and emails - Prompt on following up with me - She's passionate about her job - Listened and executed the flowers that I had envisioned for my wedding - Delivered the flowers in person - Her flowers are so photo worthy and gorgeous - Prices are reasonable - Very organized - Flexible whenever I had to add or remove items - Worked with my budget Working with Kim was such a joy. She was the only vendor I had no trouble communicating with during my whole wedding planning. I had a short-notice request from my photographer and had to ask Kim if she could deliver our flowers to our hotel room in Fairfield instead of the church in Vacaville. She was just so understanding and even waived the delivery fee. I was just so extremely grateful that I tipped her handsomely. She also sent me a thank you card for working with her. Such a sweet gesture. I wish I had another event to plan so I can work with her again, but we are Facebook friends, so that's okay too. Lol. Thank you Kim and her team! read more

I can't say enough great things about Kim and the Pollen Mill. I've been working with them for years and they are so talented!

I had my wedding at the Inn at Park Winters and Kim and her team did such a great job at making the venue that much more special and unique to our wedding with her floral designs. Kim was really good at listening to my needs and working with my budget. In case you haven't already realized when planning your wedding, all the things you like on Pinterest or other inspirational designs you want as a part of your wedding are expensive!! But Kim is realistic when it comes to budgeting, and if you are flexible with your designs (i.e. using seasonal flowers, and not having only peonies in for a fall wedding) she will work with your budget and help you create a beautiful design that is so much better than you were planning for. Kim was very good a communicating via email and phone, she was great at updating my invoice so there were no surprises, she actually utilized my Pinterest board when creating my floral design, she listened, and she was able to accommodate a last minute change, like adjusting the length of the garland for my wedding arch. read more

Kim and her team did such an AMAZING job for our wedding! Her communication was excellent all the way up to the wedding, even though I was a scatterbrained bride with a million things on my mind. She made me: a (gorgeous) flower crown, my bouquet along with all of my bridesmaids', and the boutonnieres for the men. The day of, she delivered them to me personally in vases and checked in with me before leaving so that I knew everything was taken care of. For my bouquet, I wanted something that was whimsical, cascading, and not too traditional, and she definitely delivered. It was so beautiful and my flower crown literally brought everything together and made my whole look complete. I couldn't have been happier with her work. I highly recommend hiring The Pollen Mill for your event - you'll be glad you did! read more

The Pollen Mill came recommended to us after our original florist moved out of state and could no longer do our rehearsal dinner. We hit it off with Kim on our first call. She knew our original florist and worked directly with her to transfer over our deposit. We shared some photos of our wedding day florals and explained the direction that we wanted to go in for the rehearsal dinner. We wanted it to build to our wedding day and lead into our color palette. Kim totally got what we were going for and designed florals that were so beautiful and provided fun pops of color. We had a variety of centerpieces, satellite arrangements and place setting accents. Kim utilizes sustainable practices at The Pollen Mill which we loved learning about. Additionally, we were able to utilize the same florals at our farewell brunch on Sunday and they looked just as good as they did on Friday. Many guests took them home and continued to enjoy them for the following week. Due to COVID, we know it has been a tough time sourcing florals, which makes what Kim produced that much more impressive. It was a pleasure working with Kim and we highly recommend her for your next event. read more

We had a destination wedding in Napa recently and The Pollen Mill came very highly recommended from our coordinator. Me and my now-husband were obviously weary of working with someone that we would never meet and paying for flowers that we wouldn't see until the day off. But Kim was a pleasure to work with and very professional! She was patient with us when we tweaked our vision and was very helpful with suggesting photos and showing us ideas. I felt very confident in her opinion and I think at one time even told her "do whatever you think is best" and felt 100% sure that I'd love the result. AND I DID! Our flowers were amazing and beautiful and I couldn't have asked for anything more perfect! Kim even put together an amazing floral archway for us for our altar and it was amazing! So she goes far beyond bouquets and centerpieces too! read more

I knew that I wanted The Pollen Mill to do my wedding the minute I started planning. Our wine country wedding would not have been complete without her beautiful, bespoke floral creations. Working with Kim was a dream. She is just sweet as pie, professional, patient, helpful, responsive, is a great listener and appreciates a good, dramatic long silk ribbon like no one else can (other than me). She worked with our budget and delivered the most perfect flowers. Kim took my direction of, "a flower crown thats nice and 70s chic but not Coachella/Urban Outfitters," and give me exactly what I envisioned. She has a great, organized planning process/invoice system and had a lovely staff for the day-of instillation. Speaking of instillation! Seeing Kim's smile and flowers on my wedding day was a treat. She was happy, calm, organized and excited, the perfect person for me. I highly recommend Kim for the big and small floral needs. read more

Kim was one of my favorite wedding vendors to work with! From the very first phone call, she was diligent about understanding my (admittedly hazy) vision for wedding florals. I ended up changing my vision over the course of working with her, and she was nothing but extremely kind, patient, and communicative the whole time. She was honest about what would and would not work with my budget, but is also very reasonable from a cost perspective. On the day of my wedding, I was floored by my bouquet, centerpieces, and altar arrangements. I gave her an overall idea of what I wanted, but she went above and beyond in creating unique, memorable, and GORGEOUS florals for us. I told her afterwards that the flowers were honestly one of my favorite parts of the day. I also love that she has extremely environmentally friendly practices (e.g. no floral foam, no flammable flowers / plants in her designs, etc.). I give her the highest recommendation!! read more

Kim did an absolutely fantastic job with our wedding flowers. I wasn't entirely sure what esthetic or theme I wanted for the wedding when I first talked to Kim but I showed her my Pinterest board and she helped me to narrow it down. Overall Kim captured my vision better than I could have ever imagined. She was very professional and responsive throughout the entire planning process. We changed our minds a lot with what pieces we wanted (added an arch and swag for the sweetheart table last minute) but Kim didn't seem to mind. I would hands down recommend Kim to do your flowers for any event or special occasion-she will not disappoint! read more

We were looking at The Pollen Mill and another equally priced florist here in Sacramento for our wedding at the Old Sugar Mill in Clarksburg. The reason we went with The Pollen Mill is because of Kim's attention to detail from the very beginning. She called me to get all of the specifics and vision I was hoping for, down to the color of the ribbon on the boutonnieres, so she could get us as accurate of a quote possible. It was amazing. Throughout the planning process, she was always quick to answer my million questions and accommodate any changes I threw her way. The day of, I cried when she brought in all of the bouquets because they were all so GORGEOUS and beyond anything I could have imagined! I wanted to stray from the pale flowers/greenery trend and go with bright colors and boy did she deliver! All of the table arrangements and bouquets included all sorts of textures and a variety of flowers and we are still receiving compliments on them. Can't recommend Kim and The Pollen Mill enough. read more

Kim and her team at The Pollen Mill are amazing!! They are SO talented and provide the most unique, beautiful arrangements! I was planning my wedding from across the country and Kim was a breeze to work with. I sent her pictures of my bridesmaid's dresses (which were all different colors/patterns) along with the vision we were going for and she designed floral arrangements and bouquets that tied everything together PERFECTLY! I highly recommend you hire her, you'll be blown away by the beauty of what she can design! read more

The Pollen Mill is the best! We are so honored to have Kim design the flower arrangements for our January 10th wedding in Sacramento. On top of having a great eye for floral design, she is extremely organized, responsive and very patient. She is also a super hero as she managed to arrange all of our flowers at the venue and deliver the bouquets/boutonnieres to our hotel whilst plagued with the flu! We will definitely look to Kim and The Pollen Mill for future events;-) Thanks, Kim! xo read more

I cannot say *enough* about Kim and The Pollen Mill!!! She just styled THREE events in ONE weekend surrounding a wedding I was planning in Napa and every single arrangement she did was *stunning*. Right from the get-go I trusted her implicitly (which is a super RARE occurrence for me). After showing her a few pictures on Instagram and Pinterest (and yes she was current with both), she immediately knew the look I was after and delivered perfectly on-trend, gorgeous arrangements. So many guests at the events came up to me with such wonderful compliments! Kim is up-to-date with what is going on in the floral and wedding world and had wonderful solutions for me when I was stumped due to budget on the third event. After everything, she was also able to stick to my budget, which is something I've had issues with florists with in the past. I seriously cannot recommend Kim and The Pollen Mill enough. Give them a chance and you will NOT be disappointed! I wish I could use them for ALL my events!!! read more

Kim was amazing. I worked with The Pollen Mill for my wedding bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, and boutonnieres. She was professional, prompt, and honest. I'm a simple girl with pretty streamlined taste, and Kim was able to make that happen. She can design just about anything - that's clear from her portfolio - but the most important part about her and her team is that they listen. So many vendors are lovely and do great work, but it is rare to find a professional that is as gifted in the art of listening. She was able to pay close attention to what I asked for, and then translated that design to perfection. The level of detail in her work, both the finished product and on the administrative side, would alone warrant a five star review. On top of clarity, professionalism and talent, Kim is a genuinely nice person. I was really hoping for orchids in my bouquet, but there was a statewide shortage! Kim went above and beyond to find them - including calling vendors in Southern California. We didn't end up going with the orchids, but I really appreciate all of the effort she put in to find them. My bouquet was drop-dead gorgeous anyway. If you're looking for someone who loves what they do and is a pleasure do business with, choose The Pollen Mill! read more

If you're looking for a florist for your wedding, look no further because Kim from The Pollen Mill is absolutely the best! I inquired with different florists, but there was no one that connected with me the way Kim did! I'm not very good with explaining my ideas, but she seemed to know exactly what I wanted and was able to accurately describe what I was looking for during our phone consultation. She is confident with her work and I knew I could trust her. I changed what I wanted several times and I had to postpone my wedding twice due to COVID. However, through it all she was super patient, responsive, gracious, understanding, and always accommodating to making everything work out. After every phone conversation with her, I felt at ease and confident with working with her. I changed vessel choices and alter piece pedestals and she worked with me in making those choices. She provided different vessel options, offered to help look for different pedestal options, and was honest with what she thought would work and not work. On the day of the wedding, I, all my family, and friends were blown away with everything she created. They were everything I wanted and more. Everything was absolutely beautiful and lush. I was astonished by how many different variation of flowers, foliage, and vines she used for the different pieces yet still made it look all cohesive and kept to the aesthetic I wanted. As I was getting my makeup done, through the window, I saw her setting up the altar pieces on pedestals. She could have easily just placed the pieces on the pedestals and left, but I saw her move, align, and position the pieces on the end of the aisle multiple times until they were perfect. You can tell she takes great pride in her work and it really shows in her designs and arrangements. I also followed her on social media and I love everything she stands for. She is kind, but not afraid to advocate for what she believes in and doesn't stay silent on topics I could see other small businesses shy away from. Aside from being a great artist, absolute professional, and excellent florist, I could tell she is honest, genuine, and a great soul. Her business adheres to many sustainable practices and she does what she can to remain environmentally conscious. I cannot say enough great things! read more

Kim was such a joy to work with!!! She understood my vision and executed it beautifully!! She is super friendly, attentive to detail, and an effective communicator. During our wedding, one of our main pieces wasn't installed in time for her to decorate, but she quickly improvised and made use of the florals otherwise. The improvisation ended up working out better than I had originally planned! I knew I didn't have to worry or stress out about the florals at all because I knew I was in good hands! Would highly recommend!! read more

Kim's incredible work was an absolute highlight of our wedding! In addition to her STUNNING, intricate and extensive work on our wedding arch, table centerpieces, bridal party flowers & venue decor, Kim was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was prompt in replying, flexible, detail-oriented and genuinely invested in the specialness of our day. After spending months and months planning our dream outdoor ceremony, the weather reports predicted a 90% chance of thunderstorms and lightning the night before. Kim's patience, kindness, and commitment to doing the most and best she could in this situation is what made our wedding complete-- she remained on standby for set-up to wait out a probable storm and when it never came to fruition, she worked her heart out to assemble THE most beautiful and breathtaking arch, outdoors, as we had hope and prayed we would be able to do. She went above and beyond, staying on-site all day and all night and made the details of the wedding just perfect. Cannot recommend a vendor or person more than Kim and The Pollen Mill! read more

Kim and her team are the best! I sent them our event design plan and they created the most gorgeous florals that perfectly fit with our vision. Kim is absolutely AMAZING!!! She is so passionate about what she does and if you look at examples of her work, it definitely shows! When we first spoke on the phone, I immediately had a great impression. We spent an hour discussing what my vision was for flowers and details about the wedding. I received so many compliments on our bouquets at the wedding and still continue to receive compliments from the wedding photos. Kim even incorporated flowers in our bouquets/boutonnieres/corsages that were grown right on our venue site, how cool is that!? She exceeded my expectations and I am SO happy we had the honor of working with her! If you are looking for a florist, I guarantee you will be so happy if you choose The Pollen Mill! Thank you Kim! You're AWESOME! read more

Where to start! Kim was amazingly helpful from start to finish; right off we gave her a list of what we thought we'd need, and she gave us back an extremely organized and detailed quote. This was extremely helpful in making choices and prioritizing what we want, as everything was laid out as single line items. We had as many design meetings as we needed to, and she was so patient with us (including when we changed our minds or second guessed ourselves) and provided helpful advice the whole time. On the day of the event, everything was handled smoothly by Kim and her team, and we didn't have to worry about a thing. We had a small wedding party, but they made several boutonnieres for our closets friends, and they were all different but related to each other. As for the centerpieces; people still have told me almost a year later how beautiful they were. Colorful, textural, fun - really everything we asked for. We had ten tables so did a variety of things; some tables had garlands, wreaths, lots of color all around. It really did turn out beautifully. As someone in a (different) design field, I know it can be rare to find someone who is both creative AND organized and professional, but The Pollen Mill definitely was all of those things. We would recommend The Pollen Mill because their service and final product was beyond our expectations. read more

Not only is Kim super sweet, but every single design that I have seen of hers is absolutely gorgeous!!! It's because of this that I had no worries whatsoever about the flowers Kim was designing for our wedding. Wow! I think this town has been waiting long enough for these wonderfully unique and amazing floral designs! I use kim mostly for client gifts, but she sure saved the day for Mother's Day and other times I've been in a pinch. Kim is not your typical florist. Kim was easily reachable the entire planning process. She responded very quickly and was full of knowledge and advice. The flowers were absolutely incredible. I've never seen such an amazing mix of flowers in the bouquet and on the tables. Everything was so fresh and she tied them so perfectly. The boutonnieres stood the test of movement and heat and still looked good. She also provided garlands of leaves for mantels and on staircases and they really made the ceremony and reception sights looks so much prettier and softer. I cannot say enough about her professionalism and high quality of choosing flowers and reassurance by bringing the flowers early enough so we didn't even have to think about it.
