My first visit here was great however, I did inquire about their Sunday polish parties and the employees assured me that I could purchase a groupon and show up on the Sundays at 1:30pm. I did reach out to the vendor multiple times to schedule an apt. just in case but neither of their numbers were ever answered by a real person. On the website, an appointment can't be scheduled with a groupon voucher. I showed up to the business on Sunday, June 4th at 12:40pm, it wasn't opened. I waited until 1:40pm and they never opened. I then contacted groupon who said they would contact the vendor and they should be in touch within 72hours. I waited 7 days and got no response. I paid $51 for a non-refundable Groupon. Customer Service is key and I, as a consumer, should not have to put in this much effort to schedule an appointment. Get. It. Together. read more

I came for a private event on a Saturday evening. It was a great deal it was 30 dollars and you get to make three nail polishes. It definitely is an interesting concept. I am going to say the owner was having an off night based on others reviews but when I came she was rather rude with limited customer service ability. That ruined the experience for me. This was the same experience all ten of us had. The assistant on the other hand was very helpful and was able to tell me about other events they hold there for example they have a happy hour during the week and a ladies night. Making your Polish was very simple. For one of my colors I chose a glow and the dark one or black Light. I have four kids and taught thousands over the course of two decades, and even I was impressed by how professional and engaging Shae and her staff were. They totally get that this is more than a drop in purchase, it's an experience. Owner was very communicative from the start to finish of my party and refreshments and drinks served were more than adequate and my friends really enjoyed the experience because it was different and it was unique. Super unique idea; an experience that my friend and I thoroughly enjoyed! Took a little bit to get my color the way I wanted it but the owner, Shay was so helpful and very professional. She went out of her way to make sure I was completely satisfied with my polish (I am)!!! Michaela was super sweet and helpful as well! We had a great time with Roci at a Monthly Mixing Party! She spent extra time with my friend and me to mix exactly the colors we wanted, and she knew which pigments to recommend to make the shades really unique. This experience is so much fun, and is a really unique alternative to other crafty outings like paint-and-sip and pottery decorating. The paint we made had lots of glitter so it came out thicker than I was used to, but it still paints on pretty smoothly and lasts longer than my OPI polish. I was worried it would be an event primarily for kids, but it's great for all ages. My friend and I DEFINITELY want to return- we're hooked on it! read more

Great idea. Horrible execution. Truly have never experienced such poor customer service in my life. I was supposed to take my best friend here for her 30th birthday. I was so excited! Instead of having the successful event I was anticipating, the company fell off the face of the earth. I did not receive any confirmation, I could not get a single human person on the phone, and when I finally did get through to someone 20 minutes before our appointment they were rude and wrongly Insisted an email confirmation was sent (which is entirely impossible because when I tried to give them my email address at the time of booking, they brushed me off, saying they did not need it and promised to call me with a confirmation and pricing details). Later in the evening well after my appointment time, I was harassed via text by the owner of this business and accused of being a no-show, which only drives home how unprofessional they are. I wish I could say these people are onto something, but if you run a business like this good luck surviving in a city with standards! read more

CUSTOMERS BEWARE! I booked a birthday party for my daughter at our home. After email confirmation, several calls, and a follow up call the day before the party the owner texted me on the road to say she had left her previous appointment late and expected to arrive up to one hour late. The shenanigans that ensued are too ridiculous to detail, but basically she reports she was in a fender bender, so she cancelled the appointment, and then proceeded to her next appointment. Wonderful experience! I booked for a group of friends that were in town for a wedding. It was a nice ice breaker and we all named our creations after something pertaining to the couple . COMPLETE SCAM - DO NOT GIVE POLISH PIT YOUR MONEY! The company cancelled my appointment the day of the appointment without notifying me. I showed up at the location and no one was there. When I called the number on the reservation, the woman I spoke with said she had sent a cancellation through their online system (which she then told me they were having issues with), was incredibly apologetic and told me she'd send a "deluxe kit" to my home address as a consolation for the miscommunication. That was back in January 2018 and it's now March 2018 and I have been back and forth with the owner since via multiple emails / voicemails / text messages about either sending the promised "kit", providing a confirmation that the "kit" had been sent (she has told me 3 times that she would be sending or is having difficulties with FedEx) or asking for a refund. To date no refund has been provided or "kit" has been received and the company is giving me the run around. They are now not answering the phone and emails have not been responded to. I continue to request status and no factual information has been provided. I have now disputed the charge on my credit card with my credit card company and I am submitting a Better Business Bureau complaint. I can fully back up this review with emails and a text message train (not to mention vociemail records). This has been an incredibly disappointing experience. I hate to leave a negative review about a small business but I would hate to have anyone else experience what I've been through. Shame on you Polish Pit. read more
