I had an HCG serum test completed on September 11 and sent the result to Spectrum on September 16. On the morning of my surgery, I was told my procedure was being canceled/postponed because they said the HCG serum test had not been completed. They then repeated the test that morning. During the same visit, I was told the surgeon recommended adding a breast lift and internal mesh bra to my surgery. I declined those additional procedures. A few hours later, Spectrum called and told me my surgery would instead be moved to Friday. I could not accommodate a Friday surgery and requested a refund. I want to be clear that I did not simply change my mind and cancel my original surgery. I traveled to Miami, appeared for my scheduled procedure, completed the requested testing, and was prepared to proceed. Spectrum did not perform the surgery on the confirmed date. I also paid around $200 for medication and incurred airfare and hotel expenses related to this trip. For someone traveling from out of state, a last-minute cancellation and rescheduling like this causes a huge financial and emotional burden. I am now requesting a full refund and hope Spectrum resolves this promptly.
