During that time, the center closed unexpectedly with no notice due to building code violations, we experienced major billing errors, and I was confronted by staff in an immature and unprofessional manner after reporting a concern to the director. Our time here ultimately ended due to a serious breakdown in professionalism involving classroom staff. A situation that should have been handled calmly and privately escalated into dismissive and confrontational behavior in front of children, followed by defensiveness rather than accountability. The tone and manner of communication were inappropriate for a childcare setting and left me deeply concerned about how conflict is handled when parents raise concerns. This was not a decision we made lightly after many years of enrollment. Parents should also pay close attention to the billing system. I was wrongly charged over $400 and had to fight to recover the money. The billing records are unnecessarily complicated, and it is extremely difficult to reach anyone beyond the center level to correct errors. It is concerning that funds can be withdrawn without clear, accessible accountability. I share this to encourage parents to remain vigilant, not only about staff professionalism and behavior, but also about billing accuracy and how concerns are addressed. Leadership matters, but so does the conduct modeled by the adults working directly with children every day.

Me personally that does not matter because. They have a loving caring staff, Who will jump through hoops to help accommodate every one of my child's needs. I have 4 children who has been attended this facility for four years and my youngest is two. PROS: - They meet my scheduling needs with business hours of 6:00am to 6:30pm Monday theough Friday. - They do pick up and drop off for my school age child, so I only need to make one drop off and pick up trip for both of my kids. - The teachers are nice and my kids love them all. CONS: - Their policy states that if your kid goes to school with them 3 or more days, you have to pay for the full weeks tuition... EVEN IF THEY CLOSED THE SCHOOL DOWN. They seem to have only ever been notified of a positive COVID case exposure at their school on a Wednesday, forcing them to have 4 day weekends, but families still required to pay for a full week. This includes staff and child exposures. Never have they had a report of a case on a Monday/Tuesday, where families could pay only for those days. Seems a little "coincidental" to me. - When my child was quarantined for 2 weeks because of an exposure she had at THEIR FACILITY, I still had to pay half price tuition for each week she was quarantined. - Recently, Texas had a terrible winter storm that caused many businesses and all schools to be closed down. Many of the families who have children at their facility have been dealing with no water, no power, busted pipes, spoiled food and other added expenses in their homes, while also being unable to work. Little Tyke was closed down the entire week as well, but still have the audacity to say they will be "discounting" the tuition for families that week by only charging us half rate. I know of at least 3 families in the past month alone, that have left their centers already or are in the process of looking for other daycare facilities due to these very reasons. When questioned about why we are being required to pay for services not rendered, their response was that they too had broken pipes from the storm and need to continue paying their staff. I find it incredibly upsetting that as a business whose food is paid for by the government and has business insurance to cover their broken pipes, would compare their situation to that of the families. On top of that, it is their choice to pay their staff even when they did not work, but I do not believe it is rational or ethical to charge our families for services not rendered and expect us to pay, no questions asked. Again, all of this is happening while in the midst of a pandemic AND a natural disaster. Shameful.

I think there should be a Mrs Shina in every classroom, she is simply amazing. I could go on for days how I love this daycare. We toured SO many different daycares before we landed on this one. So much so that my child has attachments with not just her classroom facilitators, but other members as well. Her vocabulary and cognitive development speak volumes to their choice in curriculum And their dedication to make sure the right teachers are at the right age levels. The staff is supportive (especially Crystal). We love that there are updates and photos throughout the day and that our precious kiddos are loved on, cared for, and allowed to play and grow in a place where they are the priority. There is attention to security, a great curriculum, plenty of free play and outdoor play, and quality peer interaction. They even let the cousins (who are in different classrooms) have a chance to see each other and interact when possible. It is hard knowing who to trust with kids. TLE is a blessing to our family!
