My recent trip to Dairy Queen was easily one of the worst experiences I've had at this location…read more What should have been a simple stop to pick up a few Blizzards turned into a frustrating and uncomfortable mess. From the moment I walked in, the store felt chaotic. Employees were arguing with each other loudly enough that customers could hear every word. It didn't feel like a workplace -- it felt like there was actual warfare happening behind the counter. Nobody seemed focused on serving customers, and the environment came across as tense and completely unprofessional. Things only got worse when I reached the till. The girl working there was, to put it kindly, a meany girl pants. She was rude, short-tempered, and acted annoyed at every part of the interaction. I ordered three Blizzards, and since Dairy Queen advertises that they flip them as a quality guarantee, I asked if she could flip all of them. Instead of just doing it, she snapped back at me with, "I only have to flip one ." The attitude, tone, and laziness were unreal. If Dairy Queen is going to promote the Blizzard flip as part of the experience, then refusing to do it -- and being rude about it -- is just bad service. Between the employee arguments, the rude attitude at the till, and the unwillingness to follow even the simplest part of the DQ standard, this visit was extremely disappointing. Until the management gets control of the staff and teaches them how to treat customers with basic respect, I can't recommend this location.

this place is the best DQ around. The staff is awesome and always willing to help or make it right…read more They always support charities like the strollery and make a difference in the community. Food is excellenT and I love a good sundae

This place is awesome! It's a small coffee shop in Spruce Grove, kinda tucked away into a corner…read more When you walk in the place seems small, but clean and quiet. People are able to go enjoy their coffee and read or work if they wish. I met up with some girls and enjoyed a good visit and a great latte. We were never made to feel like we needed to leave or was there too long like at some places. I had ordered a sugar free latte with almond milk. I have never seen this option before and it was really good. I will definitely stop there again for that type of drink! The pricing was fair and I had also got a home made cookie for my daughter. She devoured it and said it was really good. She had asked for another. All in all a great place to hang out!

We haven't been to Spruce Grove for a while so we decided to head out there for lunch at Perks…read moreCoffee House. Just before Perks, on King Street, there's a Shell gas station advertising regular for $1.36! Perks has a lot more tables than I expected. There's room for groups such as the ten or so bicyclists that were seated next to us. There's lot of sandwiches on the constantly changing electronic menu on the wall. Perks has breakfast and lunch sandwiches. I had the chicken Tzazaki for $11.25 and it was very filling. It was however quite messy. Noise is well under control so it's easy to have a conversation without yelling. We don't pass through Spruce Grove often but we will return to Perks the next time we are here.
