5+ ALL THE WAY!!! What a great experience working with Carlos from receiving a quick reply + quote, making adjustments to cater towards our school rules and then execution of our magical 8th GLOW PARTY! We had a lot of back and forth emails/text because we had certain school restrictions to stick to and processing of certain paperwork needed to send to the district. Carlos was so patient and helped me complete everything needed. He showed up on time, 2 hours before the party to set up gives him enough time. He was able to send me photos, videos and price list/ packages. I was tasked with organizing a company Christmas party. I found The Platinum DJs, read a few reviews and checked out the content before making my decision to reach out. Upon initial contact I felt confident that this group was the right one due to how professional and confident Carlos was. I mentioned that I wouldn't be at the event but I gave clear direction as to what we wanted for the event. Being that these guys are djs I figured that providing my needs would be understood and would executed with the need to manage. Unfortunately, music for the dinner was not what my team expected and the music during the party was sad and boring. When my team approached the DJ, instead of simply owning up to his misunderstanding and changing the music he blamed me stating this is the music I wanted him to play. My team requested that Carlos change the music and liven the mood several times but this was again misunderstood. Ultimately, I reached out to a professional team but we didn't get that for our event. The cost is by no means cheap and feel we didn't spend it wisely by working with the Platinum DJs and their DJ Carlos. *Update: I spoke with Carlos. The conversation was professional and respectful. I unfortunately was not present to guide the flow of the party. Ultimately we'll leave it as miscommunication and lack of schedule from my team that resulted in my team not fully enjoying themselves.
