We hired The Platinum Djs for my daughter's quinceañera, and while our overall experience was satisfactory, there were several issues throughout the planning process. One of the most important moments for me was the mother-daughter dance. During our final meeting, we specifically requested that the custom song mix we created -- including my daughter's voice recording -- be played in its entirety. Unfortunately, this request was not fulfilled on the night of the event, which was disappointing for our family because this is a night we won't get to redo. We also experienced a miscommunication regarding the monogram request and the deadline for its submission. I had called to request a quote for the monogram a month prior to the event but the quote was never received. As a result, we were unable to have the monogram displayed at the quinceañera as intended because by the time we had our final meeting we were informed that the monogram had to be requested at least 2 weeks in advance and a reminder for the quote should have been requested again. Based on our experience, I would recommend maintaining a consistent communication and following up multiple times prior to the event, as we were told that there are many clients being served simultaneously. Despite that, during the event Carlos was on time and did a good job of keeping the celebration lively, and our guests appeared to enjoy themselves overall. read more

We could not have asked for a better wedding DJ! The Platinum DJs was absolutely amazing from start to finish. His energy kept the party going all night, and he was an incredible MC who kept everything organized, fun, and running smoothly. He knew exactly how to read the crowd and kept our dance floor packed the entire evening. Our guests are still talking about how much fun they had! In fact, several friends and family members were so impressed that they asked for his information during the wedding, and I happily connected them with him on the spot for their own upcoming celebrations. If you're looking for a professional, energetic, and talented DJ who truly knows how to make an event unforgettable, I highly recommend The Platinum DJs, you wont be disappointed. Thank you for helping make our wedding day so special and memorable! read more

I seriously can't say enough great things about Platinum DJs! From the very start, Carlos made everything so easy -- he listened to what we wanted and totally nailed it. Our DJ, Gio, was absolutely amazing at our wedding! His energy was unreal and he kept the dance floor packed all night long. And the deluxe Photo Booth? A total hit! Karina was awesome to work with -- she designed the cutest photo strips and partied right along with us as everyone danced in and out of the booth. The whole team had such good vibes, and our guests couldn't stop asking for their info (which I happily shared!). If you want your event to be unforgettable, this is your team. 10/10 recommend! read more

5+ ALL THE WAY!!! What a great experience working with Carlos from receiving a quick reply + quote, making adjustments to cater towards our school rules and then execution of our magical 8th GLOW PARTY! We had a lot of back and forth emails/text because we had certain school restrictions to stick to and processing of certain paperwork needed to send to the district. Carlos was so patient and helped me complete everything needed. He showed up on time, 2 hours before the party to set up gives him enough time. He was able to send me photos, videos and price list/ packages. He was an amazing MC/DJ that night and we went ahead with the Inflatable Light Up Photo Booth package which includes his own Photo Booth assistant. A few days before the big party, he requested a list of songs our 8th graders liked so I went ahead and had my daughter gather 5 friends play lists. This was soooo KEY! We have about 319 8th grade students and they were all tearing up the dance floor ALL NIGHT LONG (2.5 hours straight)!!! These kids had the time of their lives and all the songs were FIRE!!! Carlos knew exactly how to interact with the crowd! My daughter told me it was such an amazing night that she couldn't even explain how amazing it was. The kids were blown away and lots of them commented that they didn't want the night to end. Thank you Carlos and team for being a huge part of our GLOW Party!!! ... The DJ provided real entertainment for our vintage crowd. Freddy took all requests and was delightful. our guests even remarked about how great the music was. I have to say that while it was always present, it never was so loud that it interrupted conversation. For our age group, that is very important. All in all, I have to say that I would highly recommend Platinum DJs. Platinum DJs also provided a Photo Booth with all the fun props. This was extremely popular and just plain fun. I have seen pictures posted on social media of our friends at the Photo Booth at our party. This is a fan favorite. read more

Carlos DJ/MC'd our daughter's Quince. He was very professional and communicative. We spoke multiple times before meeting to make sure the event would go smoothly (it did). I wish I would have booked his other services (I had already placed deposits with other people before he and I spoke). He recommended a videographer who was also super easy to work with. He even came through with a bartender recommendation when our initial bartender failed to confirm 5 days before our event. During the event he was very accommodating to any requests we had and the music was a mix of a playlist that we sent with his own style (this was also cleared with us prior to the event), music was in point. Thank you very much for a great service and professionalism. read more

We had Carlos DJ our daughter's 18th birthday and graduation party at a local venue. Admittedly at first I was hesitant to go with him because he didn't have a lot of reviews, but my wife felt comfortable after speaking with him. I'm very glad we went with him. He's a genuinely nice guy and does a great job. The setup he had was excellent and priced really well compared to other DJ's. If you're on the fence give him a chance before he gets so popular his pricing goes up like everyone else. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again for another party, etc. read more
