I have been a very satisfied and loyal patron of Jet's everywhere, and I still am, at several locations but I will no longer be able to purchase pizza from Jet's in Columbia, TN. If it were merely a matter of food quality, I could chalk it up as a one time thing. Every pizza can not be perfect, and that is never expected. The disappointment I'm addressing is actually 3 part and they are substantial changes, which unfortunately are very permanent. I've been buying their 2slice lunch special for longer than I can recall and it has, until now, ALWAYS been priced very reasonably at around $5. The Smyrna and Murfreesboro locations still adhere to this pricing at a little over $6 after taxes. I just paid $8.77 at the Columbia location so I was unable to leave the employees a tip because I felt like a 33 cent tip would have been received as an insult. I had $9 and planned to pay the usual 6 and some change and leave the remainder as tip. $8.77 seriously hurt and I extremely disappointed as well as sad that I will no longer be a patron of the Columbia location. To add insult to injury, the 2 slices are considerably smaller and much thinner than they use to be. Smyrna and Boro locations are still rocking with the usual size and thickness as always. The slices I received today are roughly 60% of the size these slices use to be, and they honestly did not even look like deep dish, which is suppose to be their signature slice. I could not bring myself to confront the employees because they are simply attempting to provide for their families and most likely are not even being paid an actual living wage. The beef is with the owner of this joint. I will no longer be able to brag on Jets when pizza is mentioned. I will no longer recommend Jets in Columbia, and I can no longer choose Jets in Columbia as my goto lunch fix. It is extremely disappointing. Significantly higher prices and significantly smaller, thinner slices. Detroit, don't look now, you're being repoed very VERY poorly. Farewell Jets of Columbia. We had a great run, sincerely.
