The ice cream was creamy and flavorful. Georgia devoured her pup treat and cleaned up her cup real good. There isn't much seating. Two tables inside and two outside. It's fairly small and I imagine it would get busy on a hot, scorching summer day. The staff member who took our order was super helpful, bubbly, and patient answering questions. Highly recommend this shop if you have a hankering for a creamy treat!

I knew it was life changing, not kidding! ;) when we had to go back the next night before we left town. Each evening the staff was helpful, patient (for newbies), and informative. And while the ice cream was great (pro tip: Dark Cherry!) the star of the show was the Italian Cream cake. My wife saw it and immediately had to have a slice with our ice cream (OK, we actually took it back to the hotel) and was really the reason we had to go back the next night (another piece of cake). I don't need to tell you how taking a bite of this cake causes the heavens to open, the angels to sing, and my heart to be happy! OK, as a diabetic the rest of my body may not have been very happy, but whatever. ;) A truly great experience from beginning to end. Staff, products, ambiance was all great and not only worthy of a 2nd night trip, but honestly my reason for heading back from Atlanta. No, not the beautiful area, not the food, not all the fun things to do, but Drippy's and another scoop of ice cream with a glorious piece of Italian Cream cake! See you again soon . . .

For me oat milk takes over the flavor of the matcha completely hence why I prefer whole milk but maybe I'll try almond milk next time. I got 2 of the regular ones and they were about $11 each which is expensive but worth it for us to try it. I think the sugar was perfect where it had a good crunch but wasn't stuck on your teeth too bad. The fruit was fresh where it wasn't spilling out of the sugar. I actually really enjoyed it. I'd give it an 8/10

I saw a facebook thread in Charleston of someone looking for tanghulu locally and one of the…read morecomments mentioned that there was a place at the Coastal Grand mall in Myrtle. I happened to be going to Myrtle to visit family and we were planning a visit to the mall so I knew I had to check this place out for myself. It's located in the food court area, but is not part of the food court and has its own storefront next to Lids. They did a good job on the build out making it fun and inviting plus giant screens showing off the product through mouth watering videos. I've wanted to try this Asian street food, but never came across it in the wild. It's basically skewered fruit that's been dipped into a boiling sugar mix and then cooled to harden like a glass candy shell. The closest example would be a candy apple, but the coating on tanghulu is more firm and less chewy. They had plenty of options mostly involving grapes and strawberries, but I also saw cherries, blueberries, and pineapple. There were also some chocolate covered varieties as well. Each skewer was $10 and I got the green grapes with strawberries to try it out. The crunch mixed with the fresh fruit is a great textural combination and the flavor was great. I shared it with my niece and nephew and they were hooked. We should have gone back for a second one, but we had moved on from that part of the mall. I'm sure when I'm back in town, that tanghulu will be a regular treat for us and we'll get to try some other options.
