When celebrating a friends birthday we decided to visit this newly taken over restaurant for brunch. It holds a prime location with amazing views and we were looking forward to trying it out.
We were the only guests so we were expecting good food and service. The hot drinks that were served were pleasant but I'm afraid that is were the quality started to go down hill. Four of the group ordered Eggs Benedict. It was served with a very tired looking salad, which in itself is rather an odd side for Eggs Benedict, including dry wrinkled cucumber. The poached eggs were all hard boiled. On complaining to the waiter and asking for new eggs we could hear swearing from the kitchen! Before the food returned my friend found a thick black hair in her salad. We decided at this point that all appetites were lost and decided to go else where. read more
