Visiting from Northern California. Tried Club Pickleball in Sandy but was met with unfriendly staff. Came over to the Picklr in Sandy and was met with extremely friendly staff members and a super clean facility. Landon, the Picklr pro was so welcoming and even joined us for a game. I highly recommend the Picklr in Sandy. Great experience!!!!

Great new location for pickle-ball! I believe it's 7 courts with some seats and an open area for watching and relaxing. They have paddles, bags, shirts, etc. for sale. For the grand opening they had booths for both "Play" and "Holbrook" paddles along with some free tacos and ice cream.

Clean, welcoming and SO many great classes to choose from! Also a daycare and a really nice locker…read moreroom where you can get cleaned up and ready for the day after sweating your face off. There's even vanities where you can blow dry your hair and put makeup on. (I read some reviews saying it was outdated, I don't know what people expect. The counters are granite, not laminate; get over yourself.) I was in town for a couple of weeks for the holidays and didn't want to loose the progress I'd made at the gym back home, so I called Treehouse based on a recommendation. They were happy to give me a short term pass while I was in town! They even let me come one day for free to make sure I liked it first! Liberty in the membership office was so friendly. I loved her the moment I heard her voice on the phone. Julie is an excellent teacher who kicks your butt with love. She's very encouraging and good at adapting workouts if you aren't as advanced. I took 3 different classes with her. I think "MetCon" circuit training was my favorite. Mary Lynn is not only an amazing instructor who motivates and pushes you, but you get a motivational-therapy-pep-talk at the end which, personally, brought me to tears in both classes I took from her. "Not your Mamas Pilates" introduced me to muscles I didn't know I had. "50/50" was a nice balance of weights and cardio. Loved the kick boxing moves! Amber's up beat "High Fitness" class felt like a cross between cheerleading and musical theater dance. She called it "old school aerobics". The choreography is repetitive enough that you can pick it up pretty easily, and if not, it's no big deal. It's fun and I felt it. Even my arms felt it! For those who don't like working out, this might be a fun way to start. Lisa taught dance club. I personally didn't like how loud the music was and how fast the moves were. I couldn't pick them up and therefore didn't feel "the burn" as much. BUT it's super popular and lots of ppl love that class because it feels like you're in a dance club. Go with some girlfriends and just have fun! I'm really bummed I have to go home now. There are still a handful of classes I haven't tried yet and I wish I could!!!

The steam room is dingy and moldy with cracked tiles. Not an upscale vibe at all, it is in an upper class neighborhood but low grade facility. Poor management, needs an overhaul.

Outside was in the upper 60s the day I went. Not sure if it would be cooler than it was when it's 30 outside. The walk from the front desk to the courts I never would have found on my own. I didn't see any other signs that said what was what way besides the ones my group put up. Everything looked clean and taken care of. I didn't use the locker room or restrooms. They do have a bar attached that was a nice bonus. We only got drinks but they do have food as well. Next time I'll have to try some.

A policy they never once told us about in two years. When I asked for documentation, they pointed to a small poster on a wall. That's their idea of formal notice. Our reason for cancelling? Our kids were sick. Yet when their own coach cancelled just 22 minutes before a lesson -- after we confirmed that same morning -- we received zero compensation. To make it worse, they charged different rates for the same lesson in the same month with no explanation. Bottom line: * Secret charges without consent * Policies enforced but never communicated * Coach cancellations = no refund. Your cancellation = heavy penalty * Inconsistent billing * Training quality doesn't justify any of it They may look cheaper, and there's a reason for that. Check your statements regularly or risk becoming their ATM. Ask for every policy in writing before you commit. Long-term loyal customers deserve better than this.

This was really common and disgusting. One toilet stand was unbelievably dirty for 3 weeks until someone cleaned it. I put up with it until they cranked up the water temperature to 84F which made it impossible to do serious lap swimming. The pool managers I spoke to about it were extremely rude. My notes about the smell of urine didn't seem to make any difference. The front desk people were nice but calling to ask them about the pool availability was useless as they would give me incorrect info. By comparison, the Gene Fullmer's Center where I went to for a year prior to DD was perfectly clean, only more crowded.

There's a small dance floor if you want to get your boogie on, but most are busy people watching, enjoying the company, or shooting pool. There's about 4 pool tables in here, and they fill up fast! The drinks here are probably the cheapest I've ever been in Utah. I ordered a ton of shots and bought several rounds for my birthday table and was shocked that my bill was $40 total for the night including tip! It seriously felt like I bought out the bar without breaking the bank! Speaking of money, they don't offer cash back, but there's a Wells Fargo ATM machine a block away if you really need it. Bartenders here are so sweet. They have no problem fixing you another drink if you don't like it. I'm not a fan of sweet drinks, but their White Russians are delicious! Everyone in the bar are so friendly. Seems like a bunch of locals come here and they all know each other. As a newbie, and a name not easy to remember, several people remembered how to pronounce my name and made sure they kept saying it right! I know, I know, no big deal, but it's a nice gesture and it works! Makes me want to come back next week!!!! The live bands seem to swap out every few minutes or few songs. You get guitarist, box drums, singing, and even a harmonica! There's a variety that they sing and play where anyone can Bob their heads to.
