They're average to less expensive than other shops. They've got some jewelry, and there's materials to go along with beads. There's also a small discount table. Carved & polished rocks: Lots - more variety than other shops I've been to! Carvings were like animals, angels, skulls, etc. Prices were average. Some of the carvings used multiple minerals and were very cute. Rough minerals: They have a little bit of a lot of different minerals, even several meteorites! They had some minerals that I hadn't seen at other shops. Prices were generally average or a bit less expensive, but I found a few really good bargains. Fossils: Some very cool and very affordable pieces. Fossil prices were great! Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I learn something new every time I go there. Parking was easy.

It came back looking very different. The only thing that will do this to an imperial topaz is being super heated with the torch. I complained I brought paperwork. This business is very good with gaslighting people. I told them I was going to the police and the owner said good luck with that then put a no trespassing order on me so I can't come back to try to resolve it.. They told the cops that I ruined it myself which is not true. My stone is from Brazil and it's high-quality. They ruined my bracelet the memory of it everything about it.. these people don't care about their customers. It's a shame. My gemstone was never pink even when I brought to them to get fixed. Wear and tear absolutely but my problem was the gemstone was not the same when I got it back. They had me convinced nothing was wrong with it until I wore it for a day then went to another place to have it evaluated. It's not in the same condition. You need to heat a stone like this up to 500° to get it to change to a pink tint. Blaming a customer is wrong. I will only deal with established BBB members from now on. Lesson learned

One of the purchased charms, $65 was a duplicate to one my mom already has. We went in to the store tonight to EXCHANGE it but they told us the one we were looking to EXCHANGE was the FREE one. Therefore, we could return it for no value or "just keep it." Being that this obviously was a common sense matter we asked to speak to the manager who told us the same thing. So, my mom went to The Paper Store in Beverly and they took care of her without one ounce of an issue and she left with a different charm. Also called Epping to inquire about the Dreidel charm and was told "this store doesn't carry Jewish stuff" because there is not a demand for it. Thought about placing a call to corporate on that one. Next time in the store they had the charm and about 15 Mench on a Bench's (ripoff of the Elf on a Shelf.) The organization in this store is fine and aside from peak holidays enough staff to keep the store organized and the lines to a minimum. However, the staff is grumpy when it starts to get busy and it doesn't make me want to fill my Amex out in this store when so many other Hallmark and The Paper Stores are in the area.
