The prices are reasonable and the organization is meh. I just wasn't impressed. It felt dirty and looked like not a lot of care went into anything. That things were just kind of thrown on the shelves and landed as is... Maybe we hit them on a bad day and the customers before us had torn through things haphazardly? The thrift stores in Story City and the Waterloo Cedar Falls area (and where I'm from in the Des Moines metro) are way more put together.

The staff informed us that this is the original location, so it's the smallest of the three in town, but there was so much to look at! I can't wait to check out the larger locations! All of the staff were incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful. Everything was pretty well organized and not too overwhelming. There is definitely a lot inside, but in my opinion, you don't feel crowded and can easily look around for hours in here. All of the prices are wonderful as well! Everything is so affordable as well, and in great condition; some items are even brand new! Overflow beats Goodwill any day of the week! The top floor is more new merchandise and a large wine selection. Many of the food and new items are from local Iowa producers (manufacturers, wineries, orchards, etc.) which I love to see! The shop is clean and the displays are well done. Pricing is fair and plainly marked. I assume the woman who helped us is the owner/one of the owners.
