I have not had any issues with this ankle. My second injury was more complicated. I had a torn hip labrum and torn glutes as well as plantar fasciitis. I again saw Alec for the plantar fasciitis. One visit with soft tissue work and a home stretching routine healed this in four weeks. For my hip issues I saw Alec, Brian and Helen. They worked on my pain and strength. Brian was amazing in getting my torn labrum back in place with it became painful. Helen does overall therapy but also does shock wave treatments. These helped relive my pain. Recognizing that I was also dealing with pain from overcompensation all of these PTs worked on my entire torso to reduce my pain and increase flexibility. I highly recommend United PT

To be fair, some of my questions were questions he said he didn't want to answer, like how many of these procedures do you usually do, and what is your success rate. Looking at his profile, I can understand how he may have taken this as a challenge. I see how this may have come across as rude on my part, seeing that he is relatively young in the field.

She's great at explaining to me what's going on every step of the way. I fractured a shoulder and a wrist back in May and she has made this painful and complex process simple and comfortable. Why not 5 stars? The company that handles the X-rays in here is unethnical. They'll send you to collections over the drop of a hat. I had a bill for like $30 that I wasn't aware of....it was about 16 days old and I got a letter from collections about it. They have since apologized and corrected the issue but...Ih have many more X-ray's and CT's in my future, so I won't up the rating until I get through all of those without additional nasty-grams from collections.

She was dismissive and rude. I had told her my primary insurance is Medicare. Just because I am not of age, she shook her head at me and said NO ITS NOT. And insisted that my primary was my spouses insurance. Again, I said no it's Medicare because I have ESRD and it has been since February 2023. She proceeded to dismiss what I say and insisted it's my secondary. Lisa lacked empathy and customer service. I have been through this for over 6 years with my ESRD, I have been to several clinics, I have never encountered anyone at the front desk like Lisa. I told her I would make a phone call, she immediately left her desk and did not come back. Lisa needs to do better and treat patients with empathy

I visited OPA Therapy Services -South for the first time several months ago . I saw Matthew Crowe, DPT . He is excellent . I was told by a Doc at OPA that I no longer have a rotator cuff in my right shoulder. I love to play tennis and pickleball and I'm not a candidate for a shoulder replacement . The doctor recommended physical therapy and referred me to OPA PT-South . I was very fortunate to be seen by Matthew Crowe, DPT . Even though I'm older he took my desire to keep playing seriously .We started on a program to help me gain strength and stamina and flexibility . Matt does a wonderful job of explaining what I should do, he is very attentive and knowledgeable and pushes me just enough to move me towards making progress . The pain in my shoulder is decreasing as I get stronger and stronger . Matt is rated as a patient favorite in Health grades . Parking is easy . The front desk does an excellent job of welcoming me and making sure I know when my next appointment is . I have never had to wait for my appointment to begin . They never provide a description of services offered and maintain you have to wait for the bills to clear your insurance first. It's maddening and time consuming for patients as it requires follow up and sometimes significant delays for reimbursement. It is beyond me that an invoice can't or doesn't allow the opportunity to include a description of services rendered. For example, was it a PT appointment, a purchase for stretchy bands, massage, etc. Ugh! The providers are skilled but the Admin side with Rev Cycle needs serious attention.
