After a long day in downtown Hot Springs, AR, of bathhousing, walking, and shopping, my daughters and I decided to pick up our dog from the sitter and get takeout from The Pho House. The parking lot was fairly empty at around 4:30 PM on 7.21.2025. As we walked in, we were warmly greeted and shown menus. A nice young gentleman explained several of their items in good detail. I was upfront about us driving all the way to a cabin at Lake Ouachita, so I wanted the food to be decent by the time we got there. The employee who took our order suggested, for a nominal fee, the premium plastic. I highly suggest this for pho! + 2 P4 Steak, Flank & Tendon - Phở Tái Nạm Gân = $29.90 + 1 24A Grilled Pork & Shrimp Angel Hair = $14.95 + Premium Plastic = $3.00 The flank and tendon was extremely tender and flavorful. We all had hearty, delicious meals after a quick lake swim and cleanup. It's a fairly large restaurant with multiple areas. Full bar available. I was only slightly heartbroken that they didn't have any lemon posset for dessert. I really wanted to try it. RATING BREAKDOWN Food: 4 | Service: 5 | Ambiance: 4 | Price: 4

Very charming venue. The service was prompt and the menu was pleasing. I liked the freshness of my curry chicken. My friends enjoyed their spring rolls and pho

Stopped by here in town on our way to Dallas. We came in on a Monday at 2:30pm, (I didn't realize they closed at 3?) We were seated and then all we heard was someone yelling in the back (potentially the manager) "we close at 3!" So then we asked our server to make our order to go The food was mediocre. The "angel hair bowls" is really your typical vermicelli noodle bowls, and it was... average. The fish sauce was a lot saltier than normal. The grilled pork was good, and there was plenty of shrimp. The summer rolls were less than average--3 pieces of shrimp, one piece of pork belly, a single Thai basil leaf and small piece of lettuce. Don't think I'll be stopping in again.

This was our 3rd or 4th visit and we got our food to go. We always enjoy the dumplings so yummy. I got the Umami peanut explosion and it was excellent. I could have used a little bit more peanut sauce but otherwise it was really good

Let me start by saying that I love PHO! When we travel, we occasionally look for a good Vietnamese restaurant, and this is a GREAT place! The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful, with a personality that makes you feel warm. The atmosphere is fabulous, with wonderful music flowing from the speakers, bringing forth a homey feeling. The food is over-the-top delicious! If you're in the Hot Springs area, this is certainly a great place to have a superb meal!

I have been coming to Hot springs for YEARS! But never knew there was a pho spot in town! To my surprise, they told me that they've been around for 15 years!!! To be honest, when I pulled up, I didn't have high expectations, because I am in Arkansas. Lol! This is not a place that I would expect to get legitimate tasty pho. BUT I WAS WRONG- thank God. :-) The moment I tasted the broth, I KNEW in my soul there was a Vietnamese person cooking in the kitchen!!! It was so delicious, perfect for a cold night. Everything was on point. Even the taro egg rolls that I never heard of before. If you are in town- make sure you stop in to support this locally owned small business! The waiter, (coby?) He's amazing too. Shout out to him!

Listen, if you haven't gone to the best spot in the entire area, maybe this will help you make good choices in life! The peanut explosion sandwich is off the chain! The chicken is in Pho House special peanut sauce with Arkansas Honey, so juicy and tender, and a flavor explosion! Topped with pickled veg and julienne basil, it is another winner! Lewis Phan is not playing about the perfect bread, but per usual, The Pho House team goes big and flawlessly toasts the bread! Also pictured are our favorite Vermicelli noodle dishes, the combination pork & shrimp and the tofu stir-fry. The staff is exceptional, the relaxing and casual atmosphere with wonderful touches of culture, and the ample portions of consistently fresh scrumptious food make The Pho House my top 5 (it is really number 1) in Hot Springs and within 200 miles! I dare you to try it!

Super excited to find Gouda Vietnamese food in Hot Springs. We had a curry and veggie pho. Very good and nice atmosphere and service.

The pho and vermicelli bowls are solid. Service is fast and reliable. The spicy chili oil is a great way to spice things up as needed.

It was close to the hotel we were staying at. She had dined at the restaurant several time and enjoyed it. We were seated immediately since there restaurant wasn't too busy. We arrived early dwrong the dinner run. That decor of the restaurant was very inviting and absolutely.spotless. Carla, our server, was very personable and asked if we had any questions about the menu. My sister-in-law recommended the Hot Sour Soup. I ordered a cup of it plus some fried spring rolls stuffed with shrimp. For our entrees, my wife gravitated to her favorite Chinese entree, Kung Pao Chicken. I decided to try the Twice Cooked Pork with steamed rice. After a short wait, our soups and spring rolls arrived. I must say the Hot Sour soup was incredible. I regret I didn't order a mole of it. As I was enjoying every spoonful, my tummy was very happy. The spring rolls were right out of the fryer fan piping hot. They were so good, fried to perfection. Our entrees arrived and, of course, with Chinese food, we could shared a platter and still had been full. But my wife and I always like different things. Her Kung Pao Chicken was exceptional. My twice cooked pork had the perfect heat level and was seasoned wonderfully. It had sautéed cabbage and other vegetable along with slices of pook. Some of the pork slices were very tender but others were tough. But, overall, the entree was enjoyable and Carla provided excellent service. Thank you Hunan Palace. Next time we're in town, we''ll stop in again.

I hate doing this review because I genuinely wanted to like this place after reading all of the…read morereviews. But here is my experience and maybe it's just better to come in the summertime. First let's start off with saying that this is a food truck in a food truck yard and there's outdoor seating ONLY. We came and order some dinners with some friends and we noticed that the line wasn't very long so we didn't anticipate a very long wait. But it was also 20 degrees at night so we decided to wait in the car. He told us he will call us when the food is ready or text us. So..... One hour and 30 minutes goes by... and NO FOOD. We kept checking in and he kept giving us the runaround and he won't give us a refund so we kept waiting... but we were very frustrated and "hangry" at this point. When we finally got the food we found out that he gave our food to someone else. We figured it out. Because he messed up our phone number. There is only ONE person working. But to focus back on the food. I really don't know what the hype is because the food tasted super salty and it wasn't delicious at all. It wasn't really hibachi it was more like fried rice cooked with some vegetables in teriyaki seasoning with meat. I was so sad and hungry. Please don't waste your money if you're expecting a authentic hibachi experience or taste. Or even just delicious food.
