We moved to TN about 1.5 years ago and our groomer from LA referred me to Michelle. I have a standard poodle that went to the same groomer for years who had a high skill level and did an amazing job. Simply saying I had standards when it come to the look of my dog and Michelle surpassed my expectations. Although I live in Nashville, I'm willing to drive an hour for the appointment. Michelle does an amazing job and is a perfectionist, not leaving a small imperfection to slide. I respect her for her work ethic and love for her skill. Their new office has plenty of parking and is conveniently located in Clarksville area. Realizing it takes time to get the business processes figured out, one thing I would love to see improve is the turn around time. We are used to the appointment not going over 4 hours back in LA, but it has been consistently going over 4.5 hours recently and I attribute this to the scheduling. I'm sure it is a matter of time for this to improve. Congrats Michelle on your business!

All of them in Clarksville stated that they couldn't do it; due to needing the dog to be able to stand on it's own in some brace/contraption. This groomer never said it was an issue and never made it seem it would be issue with her being in a diaper. They take care of her, even with her anxiety issues, and she's in a fresh diaper when we pick her up. She looks like a brand new pup every single time with bows/bandannas in her hair.

Definitely worth every penny…read more I stopped by on Saturday not aware of the time they closed. The regular hours were closed, but I opened the door and asked if I could get a tour even though they had closed an hour ago. The guy said sure without any hesitation. The rooms are clean, indoor, and the play area is clean and inviting too. Everything here is beautiful. Smiles from the workers as well. Dogs are not allowed to play or sleep together unless they already live together. So there is no doggy socialization here. They protect themselves and the dogs from any harm. I'm okay with that. We get our own socialization with other dogs at the dog park. The smaller rooms with no TV cost $24 per night. The large luxury suites cost $26 per night and come with a TV (one per room) that plays animal planet all day long. This was Moo's (our pup) first time here so I got her the luxury suite and left her there for one night. She LOVES animal planet. Sometimes they will take your animal the night before WITHOUT a charge to make it easier on them if they don't have anyone to receive her the next morning. They wanted to do that for us, but we weren't ready to leave her and wanted to make sure she had her own toy and food since she's allergic to some foods. They made it possible for us to drop her off at our preferred time though. The next morning, we dropped her off and they took her collar off which surprised me since I thought they might need to keep track of her for any reason, but I guess it's their normal thing since the dogs don't play together, they have no problems with mix ups. I thought that was interesting. After I picked Moo up, she got a cute scarf on her neck, kissed the two ladies goodbye who helped bring her out to me, and was smiling the whole way home. She was very happy to see us again. Her first night away from home since we got her at the shelter. I don't know if she slept very well, since during the day it was extremely noisy, but I don't really expect it not to be with the dogs there. I wonder if they quiet down at night when the lights go off. I hope so. Moo was very very sleepy and tired the next two days. She recovered after that. I am only curious about whether or not she went to the bathroom there (in her room or outside during one of her three play times) because she doesn't go to the bathroom anywhere except in our backyard at home...not even at the park or anywhere else for that matter. I asked about it, but they didn't have specifics. She's fine though. I definitely recommend this place. GO SEE IT or LOOK AT THE WEBSITE. The rooms look exactly like the pictures. I forgot to take my own pictures from outside the building, but see my dog all smiley with her cute little scarf?

I wouldn't normally bring my dog to daycare but yesterday I had to because we were getting work…read moredone in the house. I brought him here (cannon dr.) because it's very close to my job and had relatively reasonable prices. I came to say hi on my break because it was his first time and I wanted to check in (don't judge he's my baby) when I came in to see him he was bleeding from his legs and paws, split a dewclaw in half and was covered in drool (one of his stress responses) the staff then told me he was moved to the other building because he climbed on top of the crate he was in. he filed down all his nails trying to get out of the crate/kennel they had him in. he was brought outside on a leash only. he was not able to free roam or play with other dogs. I guess doggy daycares here are different from where I am from because for me a doggy daycare is a place dogs can run around and not be in a cage all day. hence why I brought him there. I will never be bringing him back and I hope to find a place that will actually take care of him while I'm at work and not lock him in a crate. if you're comfortable with paying for your dog to be locked up all day, don't hesitate to bring them here but if you're looking for a place for your dog to run around and have fun with other dogs this is not the place. The staff was very friendly and sent 3 pictures of him while I was working. they were all very kind. I'm just confused on what their job is if they aren't watching the dogs in their care. this was all easily preventable.

When I called to set up the appointment I recounted our experience with the other groomer, and the employee I was speaking with was appalled at my story. I asked if their groomers were skilled in scissor-cutting double-coated dogs. She asked me to hold while she consulted the groomer. As it turns out, the groomer who took care of my dog has owned Pomeranians in the past and is well-versed in how to groom them properly WITH scissors. So I made the appointment and was told that it would probably be only 60 to 90 minutes. That was surprising for a bath, haircut, and nail trim...or maybe I'm just used to the other groomer and their 3 hour grooming windows. Riley's even calls to give you a 15 minute heads up that the grooming is almost complete. My girl looked good when I went to pick her up. She had a bath (presumably with unscented doggy shampoo since she didn't smell like an exotic dancer.) She even had a little bow in her hair. That was a nice touch. Maybe next time I'll ask them to paint her toenails. The most important thing is that she made my baby look like a Pomeranian again. It's gong to take a while longer to get her coat fully restored, although it may never grow back properly 100%, but the groomer was able to even things out so it doesn't have that weird look that we'd had before. At any rate, I'm pleased with the job Ms. Jackie did, and we'll be back.
