I dropped off my two pups with farmers dog food already packed and I wrote down the instructions. A week later I retuned to pick up them up and the kennel didn't feed the dogs the food I instructed them to. When I asked the person there that day they couldn't give me an answer. They gave me the number of the manager and I called. I was upset and was giving the manager my grievances but she kept stepping over my words. She mentioned that the dogs were feed and that it was an honest mistake. When I tried to explain why I was upset she said "I'm not going to let you talk to me that way and I'm gonna hang up, and don't ever kennel your dogs with us." I kept telling her to allow me to finish and she hung up on me. On my way home i realized I just left their blankets and bowls so I sent her a text that I wanted to know if someone was going to be there so I could pick them up. She went on to say she apologized for the mixup and the food they use was high quality. I didn't want to engage anymore and I just simply was asking if someone was going to be there so I could pick up the bowls, blankets, and beds. I did go back to pick them up. The issue with the food is that dogs need to properly and slowly be acclimated to new food. Anyone who owns dogs should know, especially someone who manages a kennel. Also the refrigerator they use to store the food wasn't cold enough to maintain the dog food and some of it spoiled and farmers dog isn't cheap. Furthermore, one of my pups had diarrhea for a couple of days. At the end of the day, the manager should have allowed me to vent. I was upset and had every right to be. I wasn't disrespectful nor did I use profanity but a good manager will allow to complaint to evolve until the finish because what most people want is to be heard. I miss how great that place was. Disappointed...

They don't breed discriminate and they treat my Rottweiler great! He came home with a tick after boarding for a week while we were on vacation, but that's the only, very minor incident I've had - it is Texas after all. And it's fun to see the owner's wolves too :)

I took my mini australian shepherd in for a grooming and they completely botched him. As people SHOULD know, you cannot shave an aussie due to their undercoat. My aussie was returned to me way shorter than i asked and when confronted, the groomer denied everything and acted like she didn't care. I will NEVER come back again.

Gypsy has a bit of that…read moreclassic sassy Eskimo attitude, and we had just arrived in Del Rio after a 7-day road trip that included camping--so she definitely needed some TLC. We did the de-shedding and full body cut, and Aleida worked wonders. She got out all the matted fur, handled Gypsy beautifully, and had her looking fabulous in just 2.5 hours, which was impressive given the condition of her coat. Our only small complaint is that we couldn't tip using a credit card. Other than that, the experience was excellent from start to finish. We will definitely be back to have Gypsy groomed here again. Highly recommend Aleida and Petsense!

We appreciated the quick call and reschedule. Appointments were available quickly. At drop off, they did a thoughtful job of explaining options, shampoos for sensitive skin, etc. Our dog can be a handful, and they did an outstanding job. He was happy and we are happy. They even gave us a to go bag with treats appropriately sized for him! Thank you.

How much? - was so happy to have an appointment my sweet dog and I got there early and waited in the car. When time came there was no signage so we walked to the door but that was our second mistake. Finally found the RIGHT way to go and the "assistant" groomer pointed to a kennel for my gentle soul. Told her I was gonna wait and she tried to discourage that and when I insisted told me I'd "have to wait in the car." Gosh, do I have to? Instead I released my girl and we went home. What a horrible vibe and way to do business.

We have him bathed frequently, hes loved and complimented were ever we go.....all reports from these folks was how difficult he was..... They kept saying he was A Pitt and they had to call in groomer to do him.....he was clean and his nail were drummeled..... We were going to bring our other dogs to them...... Apparently it's not a good fit.....
