She tested with a "hot positive" for parvo. (The dog in the cage with her also had parvo and sadly passed away.) We called the pet store back and the owner met us in the parking lot to take her back. She promised me that if she survived we could come back and get her. She did end up surviving and I've had her for going on 3 years now. She is honestly the best dog I've ever had and I wouldn't trade her for the world. Everyone was very kind throughout the whole experience, the only thing was the owner acted like she didn't believe us about the dog having parvo? Which was really really odd to me. I don't know that I would get another pet from here just because of her having parvo. Then again anything could have happened between them getting the dogs and them selling the dogs. Just giving my story about this place! Overall people were pretty nice and my dog is great! Below is a picture of the first night I got her and then now. (She is a maltipoo. When I got her she was about 1 lb and she is now about 7 lbs.)

My boyfriend has an Alaskan Malamute and we are usually reluctant to take him to a Petco or PetSmart. You usually hear bad thing and the only experience we had back home was awful he came back with a cut on his head. However, he needed to be groomed and we will DEFINITELY go back to this location. Jennifer in the grooming department was amazing! I highly recommend her and I will be asking for her by name next time. She was helpful and knowledgeable.
