They had a special today for Thanksgiving, where you could come and try a class out…read more This is why I like trying classes out because a lot of gyms might look shiny but when you dig under the surface, they are dull as anything and I need a stimulating environment that's welcoming and not snarky the class that I tried out (albeit under a different name) was basically something else I've taken quite often and the format was not followed correctly, and I got a very snarky attitude from a lot of people that worked there Also for the the price you pay compared to other gyms, you get basically no amenities there's no pool They told me we have a membership with COD so you can drive over there and pay extra on top of what you're already paying here now why would I want a membership at two places when I could just join one gym that has everything I need under one roof where I'm actually Comfortable?!? there's no massage chairs No sauna no steak room no hot tub I can go elsewhere for a couple bucks more, and have a lot more choice of classes as well They were also asking if I belonged anywhere else and when I said yes, they got extremely snarky and said "that's our competition". I'm thinking in my head there is no competition. You have nothing to offer here. It's not even a question. Happy to return to my home gym tomorrow, where there is everything I want and more It was nice to try a class out, but I would never come back here not to mention The class was probably 80 something degrees with no fans going inside the room.

This is the first of a few locations opening in the area and is run by the ladies who owned Raw 45 Bootcamp in Wheaton. Among all of the gyms I have been a member of, these ladies are at the top of their game, they're top notch professional...and both great trainers as well as business managers/owners. I have found both qualities to be rare in the fitness industry... it's usually one or the other. Elise & Amy are both. If you browse my page and my yelp list of gyms, I've been to MANY. So for starters, you will NOT get bored at a place like this! There are a number of different circuits (the website indicates 27) and forever changing exercises within each circuit so no workout will ever be the same. The concept is outstanding and no other place is like it. All workouts are 45 minutes so you're in & out of there in no time and you get a hell of a workout in during those 45 minutes. Time goes by very quickly! The Hollywood workout I participated in for my first class on Saturday was an hour with a live DJ providing the music keeping us going the entire time. There are classes in the morning & at night and classes 7 days a week. Try this place out!!! It's for all levels and the trainers are there to not only motivate you, but to also make sure your form is correct and can assist in modifying anything necessary. Move over Orange Theory Fitness....F45 is where it's at!!!!

Especially one lady with short hair who is always chatting with younger staff and barely looks up to check people in. other's area lifetimes greet you warmly when you enter but most of the desk staff is preoccupied here. Gym desperately needs cleaning- cleaning is done by internal staff. Mats are dirty and never see anyone wiping down weights or mats / although they have spray and towels for guests to use. Restrooms are dirty and need a deep clean and improvements -( behind the stall doors- need to be cleaned)! This location is 20+ years old and lots of newer clubs going in and send this one is being neglected. Speakers in the main group fitness room only work on one side and cut out in the middle of routines. Classes were great but they keep changing formats and if there are less than 12-15 in a class they cut the class. For the price being paid they should hold class even if 5 people sign up. So many trainers around for a fee but classes seem to be getting limited compared to the newer gyms. Still going due to location but it needs some love!

Gym users are often rude, spend too time on their cellphones interfering with other gym users by walking into them, hogging equipment, and taking pictures in the locker room or the toilet areas. Women have been touching up their hair dye and leaving stained toothbrushes in the shower area. Long black hair clogs drainsPeople rarely talk to each other--some make it clear they don't want to be bothered--which defeats the point of going to a gym instead of having a home gym. I never see LA Fitness employees leave the office area to walk around the gym to ensure members or visitors are using equipment properly, getting to know their members, and making sure members keep moving on equipment. Tonight was the last straw. 1. On the way in, a young woman walking very fast while staring at her cellphone nearly collided with me. She was on her way to Zumba which had not yet started. I said we usually say, "Excuse me." She just stared. 2. I did a partial workout because the equipment was too busy, then left by way of the main walkway, again. This time, a weight machine in use clipped my elbow as I walked. I should have watched where I was going, but it stuck out into the aisle. At least that man and I apologized to each other. By then, I had had it. 3. I am paying to be treated poorly by other gym users and the employees, and this is not right. I went to the front desk to tell them this is enough. I asked about stopping my membership. It will be in 2 months. I told the 3 people behind the desk what had happened and why I was quitting. They said it was a busy time. I said it is always like that now. I said LAF buys out other gyms, closes them, then overcrowds the remaining gyms. The young woman at the computer was very anxious to remove me from the roles. None of the 3--two men and the woman had anything to recommend, try to make it better, etc. I joined the Y. Much friendlier, family oriented.
