They have at least a dozen great speciality beers on tap at any given time, a huge variety of craft beers in bottle, and an intersting choice of rums and whiskyes at any given time. And even better, just like in UK pubs you can always taste a few of the tap beer in tiny classes before choosing which one. It's one of the few places in Italy that has the "everybody on stools along the bar" method so familiar to me from back in the United States. The owners/bartenders know how to make you feel at home and start a converstation without feeling nosy or fake. They also have two little things that throw them over the top. First, the most amazing array of mini-sandwiches with great local Italian ingredients (recently some were smokes scamorza cheese, soncino salad and dried tomatoes, and they got better from there). Second, the control pane for the spotify-based music system is on the bar for all to play with. Although this can create conflicts ---- or love --- with the other patrons. So watch out! Other notes of merit, free wifi, a piano for anyone to play, coat hooks under every stool or shelf, and lots of multi-jack phone chagers. Can't wait to go back.
