If you live near Stanwood, MI, and want a quiet, peaceful spot to simply golf for a weekend, void of a nearby town, restaurant, pub, sightseeing or walking path, this is the place for you. Also, our view was of the roof of the building which was severely bad shape. Given that there aren't any nice hotels nearby, this is an okay place to stay but it needs cleaning and updating.

Having gone there for the fish in house before COVID-19, and having ordered fish for takeout during the time the club was closed due to the coronavirus, I can say that the meals were delicious. Even with take out, the fish was hot and flaky, very lightly coated, the baked potato was nicely done and the coleslaw was cold and crunchy. I thoroughly enjoyed it! I have had lunch there many times, the most recent meal being a mushroom Swiss burger and fries. The burger was nicely cooked, juicy and tender, and the Swiss cheese was beautifully melted. The French fries were excellent. The entire place has been thoroughly cleaned and freshly painted. It is still a bit dark, but members are working to improve the club as much as possible.
