Our meal for four came to £100 including a tip and wine, which I thought was quite good. They have a good range of beers at the bar, and also some well-priced wines. We didn't have to wait annoyingly long. The refurbish is very confusing. You could tell it is an olf barn house, but the interior doesn't add up. Leather and two-three different kinds of patterned fabrics. Neat furnitures mixed with rustic. They do not accept AMEX.

Last night our group had the following: croquettes, asparagus, pork belly and trout for starters; trio of pork, Cumberland sausage, beef and Stilton pie, burger and the spring lamb for our mains. All were delicious. We were too full to try a pudding but I suspect they'd be very good if the homemade fudge brought at the end of the meal is anything to go by. The menu is quite short (about 10 mains to choose from) but this is a positive thing for me. Our very sweet server gets bonus points for giving us extra fudge when we left after we said how delicious it was. My husband enjoyed the Timothy Taylor's Landlord which was on tap. Will be back.
