Excellent food and service in a beautiful country pub in Little Brington. This is the 3rd time we've been and the food has been outstanding on all occasions. Last night our group had the following: croquettes, asparagus, pork belly and trout for starters; trio of pork, Cumberland sausage, beef and Stilton pie, burger and the spring lamb for our mains. All were delicious. We were too full to try a pudding but I suspect they'd be very good if the homemade fudge brought at the end of the meal is anything to go by. The menu is quite short (about 10 mains to choose from) but this is a positive thing for me. Our very sweet server gets bonus points for giving us extra fudge when we left after we said how delicious it was. My husband enjoyed the Timothy Taylor's Landlord which was on tap. Will be back. read more
