I did book through Expedia so that made things more complicated on our part but thanks to the staff for making the best of our trip. I defiantly recommend the Modern Haven which comes with around 3 beds and a foldable sofa couch to sleep on. Fortunately, it's still almost the perfect size for just a couple staying there. We liked: 1. The stairs leading to the roof for stargazing and just enjoying the scenic view of the mountains. 2. The Barbecue was easy to use! 3. The jacuzzi has different light setting (red/ green etc.). That created such a cool ambiance. 4. The outdoor private jacuzzi with a flat screen Tv topped it off for us. If you turn off the TV and lights on porch, you can see millions of stars above you. Just amazing. 5. All the TVs are smart TVs. All you need to do is put in your login info for Netflix, Amazon, etc. The indoor TV also had surround sound which enhanced our cinematic experience even more. 6. They left a bag of ice in freezer which I don't know if that was purposeful or from last guest but it was a nice gesture if so. 7. Parking is easy, each place has a private driveway like a home! 8. The beds were soft and comfortable. 9. Windows above beds were clean and clear for stargazing. 10. Indoor fake fireplace is cool. Comes with a remote and can change colors. 10/10 for ambiance. 11. Quiet neighborhood. We rarely even came across other people or had problems with other people. Our neighbors next door were okay if we were a little loud past 10 due to us celebrating our anniversary. Nice guests it looks like. Things I would change: 1. Staff requested us to throw away all of our trash during our stay. Dumpsters are kinda far though. I wish there was one at walking distance so I didn't have to drive with my trash. I also noticed there was a $68 maintenance fee but we still had to tidy up our dishes and clean. The fee should cover all cleaning. Interesting that management made that decision. Please provide more trash bags as a few days tends to collect a lot of trash. 2. Our rooftop was nice but had a big tree blocking half our view of the mountains. It was annoying because the mountains are so beautiful. I had to stand to see them good. 3. We were told there wasn't barbecue utensils and needed a lighter to start it. So, we ended up buying barbecue utensils along with a lighter. We got to our tiny homes and found barbecue utensils and didn't need a lighter to start it. I was upset because I wasn't able to get a refund from the store for buying utensils and now I have extra. 4. If I was manager, I would buy a better couch for the living room. It was very hard and not comfortable. 5. Add a wine opener to a list of utensils please! This is a good thing to have. 6. Lights on the top deck. It was super dark. We will be coming back to visit anytime we go to Zion. Thank you guys

It was spotlessly clean, easy to find and enter, great parking, and great location to Zion. The bedrooms were huge, with a king sized bed and twin bed in each, so you could easily sleep 6 adults here, and more if people were willing to do air mattresses in the living room. The bathrooms were great, and fully stocked with many towels. Great shower and bath tub. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need to cook, including a crock pot and waffle maker! They ever had a pancake/waffle mix out on the counter which was so cute. The tv was easy to use and had lots of app options. The blinds worked great to keep out the sun. The couch was very comfortable and the kitchen is huge! The street was very quiet, and the little town had a few nice restaurants and was only minutes away from the main drag in Hurricane. I am so happy my husband found this place, what a score! Honestly my only negative notes are nitpicking - one of the twin bed frames was loose and creaky and could use some tightening. The ceiling fan in our room was stuck on the highest mode and we couldn't adjust it. Tiny things like that, but nothing to take away from what a phenomenal experience we had. We don't go to Zion often which is kind of a shame because I would totally stay here again.

Its always squeaky clean, has comfortable king bed and best of all - a fenced backyard with grass. We so look forward to stopping here after a long day of driving. The back fence is 4ft tall which works fine for us as our big dogs are not jumpers. Also, nice patch of grass. It's on a fairly busy street so the front room has a bit of street noise but it doesn't bother us at all. It's a 2 bed/2 bath both ensuites with king beds. Everything you would need in the kitchen, cozy living room area with a small TV. Lots of places to eat in Hurricane which is 5 min away. Highly recommend. So grateful we don't have to walk the dogs on leashes (yucko) - just open the front door and shoo them in - then they can roam around the backyard safely. We will be back again and again!

My cabin (premium Single sans bathroom) was quite small, but I spent hardly any time in there. I travelled in early January and it was pretty cold outside so next time I might opt for the room with an attached bathroom, but the communal facilities were close and clean. Zion is about 40 minutes away which might be a plus in the high season and Apple Valley has a lot to offer too. Just down the hill is town and plenty to do/eat/see. They seem like a family operation which means quick and personal communication and consistent improvements to the property. They had a mini golf course, great communal room, pickleball and fire pits for each cabin. They are adding a pool/spa which looks like it'll be ready by summer 2026. They also offer laundry which was great but the machines were a little grubby but useful, I don't fault the property for the DIRTY DIRTY things other guests must be putting in the machines. Overall, the price was fair and I would consider staying there again in the future. I extended my stay in the area and stayed at a hotel in Hurricane and had way more fun at Gooseberry and felt more at home. I will also add that they offer snacks & drinks which were priced fairly and very convenient.

We originally booked a double shared room not knowing it didn't have its own bathroom. I was oblivious since the majority of photos were of the deluxe room. We ended up upgrading once we checked in and the office staff were so kind and accommodating! The office is open 24/7 in case you need anything and they have stocked loads of sweets, smore kits, firewood, charcoal, tons of drink options, and other miscellaneous helpful yummies to satisfy your snack cravings. They also have a ton of items you can borrow to grill or cook on a propane stove/bonfire grate. It was super amazing how they had everything you needed to be a great camping experience! Each tiny house has an outdoor picnic table, little grill, bonfire pit, chairs to relax in, and a chair swing. They provide you with lighter fluid, a lighter, and roasting sticks! In our deluxe room, we had a mini fridge, bathroom (shower/toilet), couch, table + two chairs, queen bed, and a lofted bed. It has a cabin feel but super clean, cute little rug so it feels homey, and the distance between lodges is enough where you can't hear your neighbors. Even though it's right along the highway, you can't hear the cars as the brick fencing blocks the noise. The coolest part is the putt putt and pickleball! You can rent out equipment in the office and play as much as you want (with respect to others who may want to play of course). There's also a playground and bean bag toss. It's about 45 min from Zion and 30 min from St. George so pretty accessible. We had a great time and really enjoyed our stay!

Wanted to leave a review with some considerations for that crowd. Overall we thought it was a very cool area and it suited our needs for wanting to experience a renting a trailer. It had beautiful views. Everything was fairly clean especially outdoors. The futon was slightly stained/darkened from years of use. ***FLIES*** were a huge problem on the campsite. They were swarming our kids wagon and us anytime we went outside. This wasn't an issue in Zion NP but it was on the campsite site for some reason. It was pretty gross. If you have the bandwidth maybe trying bringing fly repellent or a fly trap for your area. 1. Temperature: Especially with young children, choose your travel dates wisely. Weather for "Zion" the week of our trip said high 90s and the actual autocamp temp was 101-106. It was unbearable and left us in the camper the entire afternoons after our busy mornings in the national park. The trailer also does not keep up with the heat. It was getting up to 85 degrees in the trailer even with maximum air conditioning (which is very loud and uncomfortable by the way). This was a big reason that we left early. 2. Toddler mischief: We all know toddlers love to open and close doors. The trailer has multiple cabinet doors, a bedroom door, and sliding bathroom door that the kids would not leave alone. We ended up using suitcases to block these issues. 3. Futon VERY uncomfortable to sleep on. 4. Pillows were not great, glad I brought my own. 5. The tent was HOTTTTT. We literally only used the tent for storage and the refrigerator because it was unbearably hot. 6. Fridge space: The fridge in the trailer is very tiny. It has a small icebox that we fit a few small ice packs and two frozen food items in. If you have the tent you have access to a more reasonable mini fridge. 7. Short staffed - there was usually only one person working the front, kitchen, phones, etc. We weren't able to check out because no one was around mid day and we had to call 5+ times to get someone to answer after we left in order to check out. 8. The pool was nice but no shade. It has about a 6 foot by 20 foot area of 1 foot water that was great for toddlers, but the kids just wanted to keep getting in and out of the water which was not enjoyable. 9. I liked that no cars are allowed to drive through the property because we were more comfortable letting the kids free roam. There are golf carts that pass through so you still have to be careful. It was also a long walk back to the car at times especially at hot temps. 10. Pack and plays: We fit two pack and plays in the kitchen/futon area for the kids to sleep. It was cramped but it worked. 11. Food: The breakfast was underwhelming. They were supposed to have a yogurt bar? One day it was just cereal. We ended up buying a yogurt parfait that was good but the next day they didn't have any. The pizza was also underwhelming. I don't think anyone enjoyed it.

Zion AutoCamp was and will be hosting a d-bag (aka Lamborghini) corporate retreat, for the rest of…read moreSeptember. The mgmt. allowed them to ICE-out all of their EV chargers (except the handicap one) which is against Auto Camp's own advertised and physically signed policy of "EV Parking Only" Since these 15-mpg Lambos run on Trump-juice, they could have parked anywhere in the huge parking lot. But I guess EVs make them feel insecure so they had to be rude to not feel like the losers they are? Regardless all of us EV drivers who were also paying $300 per night to sleep in the same over-priced little Airstream trailers, felt disenfranchised by the complicit property. One would think that Lamborghini, could afford to buy out the entire camp so they could have the whole gravel parking lot for their own little car show, but apparently these $300k Lambos are not selling well enough? So, they just acted like they owned the entire Auto Camp after renting out less than half of it. And Auto Camp mgmt was happy to ignore mine and at least 5 other EV drivers repeated in-person requests of the property to enforce their own parking policy. When mgmt failed us by telling a group of us EV drivers "This is our private property so we don't have to follow State law that prohibits blocking chargers.", I tried to personally appeal to the common courtesy of 3 of the Lambo employees. But apparently those Italians don't respect the "When in Rome" etiquette? Around sunset, AutoCamp mgmt got tired of being asked to do the right thing because they parked their own pickup truck to further block their own EV guests' access to the EV chargers which the property brags about providing. That childish action also blocked in one Tesla that managed to get access to a charger. Then they tried to claim their Tesla chargers weren't working by putting garbage bags over them with homemade labels that said "Out of Order". But of course the green ready lights showed thru to reveal their lies. BTW Lamborghini calls these ugly $300k soccer-mom, crossovers "Urs." As in "Up Urs!" Zion Auto Camp?

Rented jet skis from here and had a blast. I reserved my high powered Jet ski online before hand…read moreto make sure it was available. I was a bit worried about flooding the engine which came with a $500 fee that i had read about in other reviews. Because of this i kinda took it easy and didn't do any crazy high speed turns to avoid flipping which floods the engine. I also read a few things on the internet about how to avoid flooding the engine. The big one was if it dies and someone tows you in make sure they go slower than 5 MPH, because dragging it thru the water at higher speeds pulls water into the engine and floods it. It was my first time on a jet ski, they excellerate very quickly like a motorcycle. It took me a little while to get used to the speed, but eventually got it to full throttle, i just dialed it down when it got choppy. The staff was helpful and friendly. The jet skis all seemed pretty new and we had no problems with them. They say each jet ski can hold 3 people but they suggest only 2 per as it increases the chances of flooding the engine. Also if you fall off, be careful when getting back on, thats how you can easily flip the jet ski and flood it. There was also a swimmers itch warning, which is a harmless parasite that leaves a rash on your skin. Although it was the season for it and warning signs, no one encountered any of this. We all had a blast, some tips; bring sunscreen or wear long sleeves to protect you from the sun, if you have sunglasses make sure you have a lanyard that keeps them around your neck in case they come off. There was also a $20 fee at the entrance to the park for non Utah residence, which we did not anticipate. Over all a fun and exciting experience.

Because this is the only option on-site, you just have to accept the price. But I would say the main negative was that the rental itself was pretty beaten up. The kill switch clip was broken, and the steering was great. At least the kids running the place were chill about the issues and didn't try and blame us. Not all rental places are like that. Some places basically look for any reason to charge you damages regardless if you were responsible or not. - More expensive - Charged for gas - Relatively hassle free renting/returning.

They do clean them every morning, but it doesn't stay clean by evening. Too many people. It's very crowded, lots of people everywhere and waiting for everything. Has the theme park experience. The shuttle is constantly running into the park from the campground. We had to wait for an hour each way on a Friday for it. There's no other way up unless you are staying at the hotel. Parking is limited and the shuttle is pretty much mandatory. A ton of locals came in that day randomly and it was super packed. The rest of our stay we only had to wait 5 mins for the shuttle. You have to buy coins for the shower either at the showers or at the local sports shop, it's walking distance from the campground. The showers are not at the campground, but next to the sports shop. They closed early one day and the machine at the showers was broken so we couldn't buy coins. We were hot, sweaty and covered in sunscreen so it was pretty miserable to skip a shower. We planned ahead the rest of the trip and didn't have to buy coins last minute. Showers get busy and there is a wait.

Zion View Camping is a dangerously misrepresented and poorly managed location that should be avoided by anyone who values safety, cleanliness, and basic decency. #1 - Misleading Name Despite the name, this site is not near Zion National Park. It is a full hour away by car. This alone is deeply misleading and deceptive advertising. #2 - Dangerous Access Road The road leading to the campground is an unmaintained sand and dirt track. Worse still, it requires crossing a river - something most standard vehicles and travelers are unprepared for. It's unsafe and completely unacceptable. #3 - No On-Site Staff or Guidance There was no one at the location to greet us or assist with check-in. We received vague instructions via text and found several other confused guests wandering the grounds, unsure of where to go or what to do. #4 - Neglected Grounds and Unhygienic Conditions The entire area appears abandoned and unkept. A large, broken-down RV sits like a haunted monument in the middle of the grounds - eerie, depressing, and a clear indication of neglect. We stayed in a "wagon" where the bedding was dirty and the floor was filthy. #5 - Nothing Worked The lights, the heater, the barbecue - all of it was broken, rusted, or too old to be functional. Everything felt like a thrift store discard, and nothing was clean or safe to use. #6 - Serious Fire and Carbon Monoxide Hazards The outdated propane heaters pose a severe fire risk, especially with high winds and embers flying from nearby fires. There are no smoke detectors or carbon monoxide detectors. This is an extremely dangerous situation. Guests are literally gambling with their lives. #7 - No Heat, No Help, and No Safety After trying multiple heaters that failed to work, a young, untrained staff member finally showed up but was also unable to fix the issue. We were freezing cold, exhausted, and entirely disillusioned with the integrity of the operation. We packed up and booked a hotel in St. George that same night. We feared for our safety. #8 - Traumatizing Shower Conditions After hiking all day, we were desperate for a hot shower. What we found was horrifying: shared facilities that were dirty, decrepit, and traumatic. The towels provided were old, stained, and smelled terrible. I honestly believe a prison shower would have been a step up. #9 - Safety Hazards at Every Turn Even the most basic safety elements are neglected. The solar lights (cheap Home Depot models) installed to illuminate the steps do not function. Walking around in the dark was dangerous and yet another sign of the owner's disregard for guest safety. #10 - A Deceptive, Unsafe, and Disturbing Location This is not a tranquil camping experience. It is located in a rundown area beside a goat pen, where the noise and odor are constant. The surrounding neighborhood is deeply unsettling, rumored to be home to polygamous sects long in conflict with the law. The overall vibe is not just uncomfortable - it's unsafe. To make matters worse, the owner, Charles, offered me a refund on the condition that I would not post a negative review. That tells you everything you need to know about his character and the dishonesty behind this business. Conclusion: Zion View Camping is a dangerous, filthy, and misleading scam. It is not worth your money - and certainly not worth risking your life over. There are far better, safer, and more honest accommodations much closer to Zion National Park. Save yourself the regret, discomfort, and danger. Avoid this scam!

We recently had the opportunity to visit for a third time after a last-minute change to our Fourth of July road trip plans, and we jumped at the chance! First, their prices truly cannot be beat. The amount of time, adventure, breathtaking scenery, sandboarding, and sand sledding you get for the price is incredible. Especially for families, being able to have an experience this memorable without spending a fortune is a huge plus. The views are absolutely unparalleled. There is nothing like coming over the trail and seeing those massive pink sand dunes for the first time. It truly takes your breath away, and pictures will never do it justice. The sandboarding and sand sledding were SO much fun, and my daughter absolutely loved it! Getting to actually play on the dunes and fly down them was definitely one of the highlights of the trip for her. Coral Pink ATV Tours is family-owned and operated, and you can genuinely tell how much heart they pour into their business and the experience they give their guests. There is a reason I have continued to come back and bring more of the people I love with me each time. They are operating from a new location compared to our previous two trips, so just a couple of things to be aware of. The closest bathroom is about 15 to 20 minutes away, although there are plenty of trees and privacy if nature calls. Some parts of the ride also get pretty bumpy, but honestly, that's part of the adventure and makes it even more fun! Hailey and Brooke were amazing guides and gave our group such a fun, thorough, and absolutely beautiful sunset tour. We had an incredible experience from beginning to end. After three trips with Coral Pink ATV Tours, I truly cannot recommend them enough. I have now experienced it with colleagues, friends, and family, and somehow the beauty still takes my breath away every single time. Between the unbeatable prices, amazing guides, family-owned atmosphere, and views you simply cannot find anywhere else, this is an experience you do not want to miss.
