Just wait until you check in to see their list of rules. The office staff was extremely rude, not inviting or happy to see you. Pool was murky, even closed one day to "shock" it so we couldn't even use it. Had to drive to the resort next door and use theirs, (which was a lot cleaner and the staff was super friendly). Dog leashes can't be longer than 6 feet, who even has rules like that? Sprinklers come on at night and they don't bother to tell you that so your stuff ends up getting soaked. We lost a pin to our tow hitch, we think it dropped when we unhooked in the unhooking area, hoping someone might have turned it in we went to the front desk to ask, Lynn at the front desk was super rude and didn't even get out of her chair to even look to see if it was turned in, just said "No, no one turned it in" she didn't ask any of her coworkers or look around, she was visibly upset like we were wasting her time while she was sitting at the front desk. Next time we come to Zion we will be staying somewhere else.

One will be texted their code number to enter their sleeping quarters. There are BUFFALOs here. Drive to the gated area to the right of the main entrance roadway and they will peacefully look at you or ignore you. They posed wonderfully for photos! There is a mini general store for food provisions, clothing and more. Very friendly lady working in there. One can pick up their swimming towels for their warm swimming pool and hot tubs nearby. There are showers and even an adults only hot tub area. There will is also more fast food dining options and gas stations nearby. Located about 15 minutes to Zion Park and the other direction to LaVerkin. Lots of hiking and dirt roads to explore nearby, too.

Everything is thoughtfully provided on an honor system, which adds to the welcoming, trusting atmosphere. When we arrived, we realized we had accidentally booked our stay one day too early. Instead of turning us away, they graciously offered us a boondocking spot and invited us to a once-a-week complimentary dinner for all guests. It turned into a wonderful evening around the fire pit, connecting with fellow travelers. Meeting the owners was an added highlight--they were as warm and inviting as the meal they shared. We feel incredibly lucky to have stumbled upon this special place in the middle of such a beautiful desert.

Get the bus to the town of Springdale eat shop rent stuff. Cons: expect delays this is in the national park always a line to get in walking riding a bike or driving your car. If going to the Narrows busses start around 7 or 8 am. Bike pickup are early whenever you want them so pick up your bike early to get back into the park before the line starts. Campsites are big not all crunched up you have plenty of space between you and your neighbor. When it's a little windy no fires and hat so ever. Flushable toilets squirrels are aggressive here taking a nap outside and a got scratched by one.

This was my first time staying on-site of a National Park, and I fear it has spoiled me. No lines to enter the park, no excuses to dilly-dally, just straight to nature. Made reservations online, was able to switch to a different site that opened up very conveniently online if you are on the fence about sites. They have a refund/cancellation policy, but you'd have to check their website for details. Checked in around 11:45am, and lady at the booth asked if next I could wait until check-in of 12pm (ok??). When I walked by the booth later to ask questions, the booth was closed and it was self check-in. Maps available in the covered vestibule. Heated bathrooms were nice, restrooms themselves were decently clean. Stall trash cans for feminine products wasn't overflowing. Outdoor sink for pots/pans (bring your own detergent); someone had left a sponge, which was nice. Bought firewood + starter @ Walmart in prep, and made a nice fire one evening. I did shower at Zion Outfitters twice ($4 per 5 minutes), which is walking distance to the campground (~10 min depending what site). Same walking distance to Zion Canyon Brew Pub, and a ~30 min scenic walk to Springdale.

The noise level has greatly improved with the large retention walls on the side of i15. The resort is super clean! Free trash pick up, two dog parks, free doggy poop bags, daily propane fill up, and more. Laundry and bathrooms are very well kept. I haven't used the pool area but I always see staff cleaning and prepping the area. Baseball court, swings, and more are available! The prices are reasonable and what really makes it special is the staff! They are absolutely amazing, from Bree, Dillon, Kevin, Rosie, Marysa and Brevin, the truly take care of the resort and the guests. They've started with weekly events to bring people together, including weekly yoga, group cooking classes, poker night and more. Some are for the whole family and some just for adults.

I've never camped anywhere where they give you barely enough time to shower. At least make it a solid 10-minute shower. That was bananas. I was scared to be sudsy and my shower cut off or something. Other than that, LOVED this place! They have a small pool that we did not ever go in, but the Virgin River was fun! Bring a tube to blow up or go buy one at the hardware shop. If we ever go to Zion again, we will definitely stay here and try to get site R15.
