While there, he became overheated and started vomiting. French bulldogs are a high-risk breed for heat intolerance, and this situation should always be handled with extreme caution. After bringing him home, he was weak, not eating well, and drinking excessively. Although he seemed to improve slightly over the next few days, he later developed severe symptoms including vomiting, bleeding, and distress. Tragically, he passed away at home a few days later. We cannot say with absolute certainty what caused his death without a veterinary autopsy, but the timeline is deeply concerning, especially given the overheating episode during grooming. I said certainly not "she didn't have a rash". As I have 3 dogs and all picked up at the same time I decided not to scream and yell and look at her closely at home. When I get home it looked like a razor burn, confirmed by my husband who cuts hair. I was furious. I washed the wound and applied medicine In a couple of days it was infected. Had to pay 150$ for the vet to come a treat her. It took 10 days of antibiotics and she is still healing from this. BEWARE DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOGS TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT.
