i was a patient here and went once in person where i filled paper work out and they diagnosed me…read morewithin the same day no further evaluation other than a couple questions on paper, they had no interest in exploring other mental problems i've brought up. after the one session in person i was forced into phone call sessions only and when i requested in person it was disregarded, these phone sessions never lasted the full session time and was always cut short. during these sessions the advice i received was always the same, music. they will not stop talking about music my partner has had the same problem, they insist that listening to happy music will fix everything and just don't drop it i don't know why they kept bringing it up even after i said it's not helping. personal opinions were also brought up in sessions, at some point even bringing up their political opinions like i cared what was going on in the world when i wanted to die. my partner still goes to this center but only sees a psychiatrist, and he may be the worst one in there, during my partners session she mentioned me to him and i am non-binary so she referred to me as her partner, he then proceeded to ask her what i was born as, insisted that the pronouns are plural and don't make sense and LITERALLY PULLED OUT A DICTIONARY and looked it up with her where he was proven wrong. she was extremely uncomfortable and verbally so, extremely unprofessional she pays to be there and that is how he chose to spend that time truly a work of art. only reason i'm not there anymore is because one day i never got a phone call for our scheduled session and later got a letter in the mail stating that my case was going to be disregarded because i haven't been attending sessions i wasn't even getting called for. their number is also a weird one way call thing so you can't call them.

She is still currently in the ER waiting for admission 29 hours later. Diagnosed with a UTI and dehydration- something that could be easily remedied at Olean Medical Group. Instead, she sat in a chair for over 15 hours with spinal stenosis and severe back problems. This is completely unacceptable- how can a provider only see WELL patients. She was not an infection risk. The waiting…read moreroom is small but comfortable, perfect for the steady stream of patients here to receive the expert care of the Doctor and his staff. They always try to work you in if you're running late, and are quick to call if an earlier appointment comes available for you. Dr. Carl himself is attentive and eager to help, explaining everything fully to his patients. You're always treated like an important part of your care here, and he engages you in the decision making regarding how to proceed. This is a wonderful and sadly rare trait in a physician, and is one of the major reasons I keep coming back to him.
