Update 11.16.2022 - I want to reiterate we loved their work but again their communication is just…read morenot great. Here is an example of it; after I wrote my review here is how (text messages) he approached me. Attacking a customers character is never good First off I have to say the work and speed that their crew delivered was great. We love everything that they did for us. We had a number of requests for them to: 1. Build a deck near our pool with cover 2. Replace our fencing to hide the pool equipment 3. New fence towards the back of our property In the photos you can see how great it turned out. Now where they lost their stars is in communication and dealing with conflicts. 1st issue - We had a dumpster provided that they subcontracted and had a number of issues. James gave my husband the phone number to contact dumpster company and "deal with the issue". As a customer all issues pertaining to a subcontractor that THEY hired should have been handled by them and not us. 2nd issue - some of the fence posts they installed warped and we asked for them to come repair. We had to text and call about 10 times! We were given dates that someone would show up and then no one showed up and no communication about 5 times. Continuous calling and text had to occur with the same result. Then random out of the blue one day someone showed up to fix the fence and once again no communication to inform us they were coming nor after to check how the repair went. This process was extremely frustrating and clear that dealing with conflicts isn't their forte.

Great company, great guy. Let me set the record straight, I…read morehaven't even had my deck built yet but I have a great deal of confidence in this company. Last year I had a fence blow down on one side of my house (along with most of San Antonio) and I was having a hard time getting a contractor to call me back, much less give me an estimate. Allen not only called me back, he came out and gave me a reasonable estimate and said he would work the job in as soon as he could. I was getting nasty notes from my HOA so this was a big help to me. The work was done on time, on budget, and MUCH better quality than the original builder. I had him give me an estimate on a deck at that time and was impressed out how reasonable it was. Fast forward to now and I am ready to build a deck, and my circumstances and finances allow for a much nicer deck than what he originally estimated. First I went through Home Advisor (which I recommend if you're lonely... you will get all kinds of calls lol) and they sent 3 different contractors out. I sent the first home without an estimate because he wouldn't even give me a quote unless I signed paperwork on the spot. The other two were also VERY high pressure and their quotes were... well they were high (like you have to be kidding high). That's when I remembered I had Allen's card and gave him a call. He came out himself and took measurements, asked questions about what I wanted (one of the other companies insisted on telling me what I wanted) and gave me a ball park quote on the spot. Just based on this experience and the previous work I would highly recommend them, but of course I will update this review once the work is done. (it's 3/16/18 now and I hope to start on it within the next month).

If after coming out they decided that they didn't want my business I would've thought the professional thing to do would to just say thanks for the inquiry but this is a project we're not able or willing to do. I've also noticed that it seems when someone gives him a negative review he can't find their information. Just based on his responses if I were a customer considering this company I'd reconsider after looking at his responses doesn't take responsibility for his actions.

I hired Blue Bonnet Patio Covers to put five electric screens on my large open patio. Chris and Tim…read morecame out to give me an estimate and talk to me about the screens and they were there for me whenever I had any issues . After the installation, I had some issues with sagging and motor function, which Bluebonnet was steadfast and committed to coming out to solve and fix the issues that were manifesting. Kyle and Alex did an excellent job on the installation and fixing the issues that came up after the installation. Kyle and Alex worked tirelessly to solve the problems and replace motors that seemed to be malfunctioning. A company is only as good as its guarantee of warranty and workmanship, and Bluebonnet definitely came through with standing by their work and product.. My back patio is beautiful, and I am able to enjoy it now that the screens keep out leaves, dirt, and debris. I highly recommend Blue Bonnet Patio Covers and the electric screens that they provide.

Even going as far as not paying out the employees' last paycheck. Currently trying to get my money back via fraud dispute on my credit card. I would say avoid this company, but you genuinely cannot contact them anymore. If you can, please do yourself a favor and avoid the headache.

Archadeck of San Antonio Hill Country - back rest for outdoor seating

If you are looking to start an outdoor project that includes masonry, look no further. Archadeck is…read morethe company you want. 2 yrs ago, I had a back porch added w/ fireplace, extra seating, custom design (compass). and had it all screen enclosed. LOVE my back porch so much that I show everyone who comes over. Neal Neathery is the owner and is also now a friend. He makes you feel like you are part of his family because even his wife came over to chat w/ me when the original project was done. The best thing about Neal and his crew is that they do no just finish the job and forget about you. I got a call a few weeks ago from Jonathan Garza (Construction Coordinator) asking to come by and make sure the workmanship is well above standard and see if there is something that needs to be fixed. I have never had a company follow up on a job a few yrs later. I mentioned that the backrest was protruding out too much at the top so they came and shaved it down and now its perfect. Nobody caught it before. I also noticed some tiny nails that started to show so Neal had someone come by, fill and repaint the siding next to the door. Attached is a photo of Before (left) and After (right) of the back rest. Now anyone sitting on the bench can rest their back without feeling like there is a bar across their back. Neal has quality people who stand by their work for sure!! I am happy to call Neal and Jonathan my friends.

We needed a new back patio/deck and knew what we wanted to do for the most part, but definitely appreciated Archadeck's expertise (and patience), which ensured we had a thorough and well-thought-out game plan in place before the project began. Everything was as close to flawless as anyone could ever imagine; the project was finished multiple days ahead of schedule, and the final price was a pleasant surprise as we spent less than we originally anticipated, so win-win-win! And since we now have new TimberTech Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) decking, which is made in the U.S.A., we will never need to build another deck for as long as we both shall live, as we have a limited lifetime warranty, including fade & stain protection guaranteed for fifty years. Thanks very much, Neil, Rebecca, Jonathan, Oscar, Little Oscar, Jaime, Jerry, and Lou! We appreciate your family providing ours with a spectacular outdoor living space!
