A big thank you to Brittany G., who came out to our home to provide the initial estimate. She was thorough, honest, and took the time to explain everything clearly. Shelby made the scheduling process smooth and stress-free, which I really appreciated. Shelby's communication from the very beginning put us at ease, since this is the first time we had to work with foundation/concrete repairs. Kurly and his crew, Albert and Zach, did an outstanding job installing the pillars. They were hardworking, respectful of our property, and clearly skilled at what they do. We appreciated that Kurly took the time to explain all aspects of the project step-by-step and let us see how the pillars were installed. Valerie and Rene followed up with the poly-fill and concrete repairs for both our driveway and back patio. Valerie made sure to keep me updated and laid out expectations from the very beginning, bringing everything together for the final phase of the project. It's not often you come across a company where every single person you interact with delivers such a high level of service. The level of professionalism, communication, and friendliness was clearly seen every step of the way. The results have exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Baird Foundation Repair to anyone needing foundation work done right the first time.

These reviews are paid. If I mention names in negative reviews, though, they get banned. Double standard for sure, but look to Baird's management for acountability.** This company did the ol' bait and switch and has left me in the lurch. I originally sought out Baird Foundation Repair because I learned my lesson using a handyman. My kitchen/bathroom/bedroom were sagging, and the handyman put a long beam underneath to prop it up. The weight of it all just pushed the beam back down into the ground and the sagging continued. I called Baird who said they would replace the joists. Without telling me, they replaced the joists with cut joists and placed the cut joists on top of and included the old beam. BAIRD INCLUDED THE EXACT BEAM INTO THEIR OWN WORK. I went with Baird because they had a warranty and were supposed to be the best in the biz. It wasn't a month, and the sagging came back. It wasn't until this point that I learned Baird had (1) cut the joists in half, and (2) built its work on top of and including the poor handyman work. I got exactly the work done that the salesman recommended. The one that came with a warranty. I asked to get the warranty work done so that it could be level, like I paid for. His boss said "We're not coming out there unless we get paid." It finally was escalated to Baird's CEO. She finally approved the joists be replaced THE WAY THEY WERE ORIGINALLY PAID FOR. However, this new work was done incorrectly and they blocked my crawl space (see included picture). Add on to that, the sag continued to come back. We were talking about another area of my house that Baird failed to correct when the CEO cheekily slid into the email that Baird recommends more work under my kitchen/bathroom/bedroom to protect it long-term. I reminded her the work already underneath my house was the work Baird recommended. I asked her to confirm that Baird stood by its work and its warranty. She pulled the rug out from underneath me and said (1) it does not come with a warranty, and (2) they recommend EVEN MORE WORK so they can put their own beam under the house. I had to pay more money for them to correct their work the first time. It's just a never ending process where they mess up, make you pay, then recommend different work. These business practices are reprehensible.

I contacted my go to guys, Mr Handyman NW & Helotes, to see what could be done. Travis took a sample of the flooring, only to discover the flooring had been discontinued a while back. Travis found complementary tile, which goes beautifully with the existing wood flooring and with the fantastic artistic workmen, J R & Eric, I now have a beautiful back entryway which looks like it has always been a part of the living room. At 11:30, I received a call from the tech, telling me that his last appointment had run longer than expected, which was acceptable to me, because that can happen. He told me that he was 15-20 minutes away. He finally arrived at around 12:30 and told me that he had punched the wrong address into his GPS and had gone in the wrong direction. (This was interesting, because their office is on W. Hausman and I live off of Hausman less than 2 miles from their office.) Their process is to give you a quote, so I showed him what I wanted done. Replace the batteries in 7 smoke detectors, replace a single 22" wide Venetian blind and mount a battery operated Ring camera at our back door. No parts required, just labor. He told me that it would take him about 2 hours, but that he would need to go out to his truck to prepare a price quote for me. After about 15 minutes, he came with his price. His price was $468.00, which I declined. I forgot to ask whether that included an elderly discount. I located a different Handyman on Thumbtack. His price was $140 and it took him an hour and 10 minutes to complete the work. I gave him 5 stars.
