The doors he hung wouldn't shut properly and he wanted to charge me more to fix them. He installed baseboards but did a terrible job touching them up and caulking. I included pictures of trim work he thought was finished but shows that it is unpainted, not caulked, and/or unpainted spackle. His work is poor at best. Do not recommend.

This is something I didn't even think to do! Even without the insurance payout, their quote was about half the cost of the other company. Once it came time to do the work, I was in constant communication with the foreman. The guys tore off the old roof in a day and put up the new in a second day. The following morning the dumpster was gone. Again, by starting an insurance claim they put money in my pocket before they even knew if I would be a customer! I'm generally nervous about home renovations because I'm pretty dumb when it comes to this sort of thing. I believe the competitor tried to take advantage of my ignorance.
