Bought a round of 6 shots and had an extra; bartender Faith said she would take one; she took a very, very tiny sip and dumped the rest down the drain right in front of me and still charged me for 6 shots... Worst bartender etiquette I have ever experienced... If she didn't want a shot, she should've just said no instead of blatantly dumping my $$$ in the drain... After I called her out on it, she chased me out of the bar cussing up and down directly at me right in front of all the other patrons... I will NEVER return here and I will tell all my bar-going friends to do the same... read more

This place is very unwelcoming. The bartender, (blonde with a stank attitude), made it known the moment we walked in that we were not welcomed. The atmosphere was very unwelcoming. She rolled her eyes at us as soon as we walked in and then was rude when "assisting us in where we should sit". She offered good menus and seemed irritated when we wanted one. I would never go back to this place and whenever someone ask me about it I will tell them not to waste their time. Good service is needed for business. read more

My sister and I stopped in here because we were going to bingo nearby and felt like having a quick bite to eat and a beer. I had the potato skins - they were large, covered in cheese and bacon and came with sour cream. Delicious and perfect for my quick bite. My sister got the fish sandwich though and WOW! I have never heard her rave about anything eaten in a bar before but she told me (and others) it was beyond a doubt the BEST fish sandwich she ever had. She said the cheese was melted into the bun, then crisp fish, tartar sauce and lettuce. Couldn't get her to shut up about it! Go and try - delicious food and friendly folks!! read more

Beware. I stopped here for a few drinks. Used my credit card to pay. The bartender stole my credit card information and charged my card several times over a two day period adding a $213.07 tip to a $15 tab. Then charged another $75 the next day and attempt a third charge the day after that before my credit card company flagged and declined the charge. I filed theft and fraud charges against the bartender and bar. I got my money back but it was a waist of time and resources. Only a complete moron would think they could get away with something like that. Everything is traceable. This place is trash and so is the bartender. read more

Don't eat here. Ordered burgers and fries, food took almost an hour. Burgers came out super gross, tasted like they need to clean the grill. The whole order didn't come out, cook forgot one of our burgers and we decided to take that one to go, did not include the fries we paid for. We got sodas which were watered down. The Parma Pit Stop is the former Playmakers across from Walgreens at Ridge and Pearl. They redecorated with an auto-racing theme (not specifically NASCAR or F1 or anything), which struck me as odd since I don't know anyone into autosports. Service is still very friendly and they still trivia nights (Thurs). The jukebox is one of those modern digital models (TouchTunes?) so you can look up pretty much whatever you want for just a little more cash. The bar is fairly long and L-shaped but there are wide high-tops for groups too. The menu is typical bar fare, but it's been tasty and well-priced. I've gotten a burger, fries, and a half-dozen wings for under $10, or ~$12 with a tall beer, which AFAIK is a much better deal than most places in the area. The wings are superb. I've gotten them at least 5 times now and they were utterly delicious every time. I don't think you can go wrong with any flavors, but Sweet Chili is a standout. It's seriously good! Order your wings EXTRA CRISPY. Yummm. Oh and can get a dozen for $3 on Sundays. Even if you're not drinking, go for the wings. The burgers and fries are nothing special but they'll satisfy. You can ask for wing sauce on them which ends up pretty tasty. They also feature "Pitstop Lager" (which is probably just something else rebranded) which is really not bad and a nice change from the typical Bud/Miller/Coors options. Usually like $2 for a tall. Hell yeah. Unfortunately I have to subtract a star, because the men's room is dark and smells strongly of bad mildew and urine. If they fixed that the place would be great. Parma is full of bars for either obnoxious country music fans or miserable middle-aged drunkards. So the Pit Stop benefits from being relatively normal. read more

I will never, ever go back to this place. The food wasn't great. Pretty expensive for the simple dishes they were serving. I wrote a review on their Facebook and the owner of the place, instead of apologizing for the things I mentioned in the review, tried to start a fight with me to show me I was "wrong". I did customer service for 7 years and when someone didn't have a pleasant experience with a service or product you apologize that they weren't satisfied, and offer to make it right. I took my girlfriend,86yr old mother and her friend here Friday July 1rst. We all ordered burgers, I also ordered fries for my girlfriend and I. Very Expensive! fries are ala carte.Our order came to 27.50 just for 2 burgers fries,a dozen wings and 1 pop, she got water. We waited 45-50 minutes for our food everything was dry and burnt! even the WINGS! and hard to chew! I have never had food this aweful before!!!! The only thing they have going for them is... The waitress was very nice. BEWARE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!! Any fast food place would be cheaper and much ,much better! my 4yr. old grand daughter could have made a better burger! read more

Sat at the bar - server was nice. We both order a burger...seemed to take awhile. Burger had a charred taste - I did not like that. We split an order of fries as they do not come with the burger. I doubt I'd come back. Its a typical local bar - but they need to up the food quality to get me back in the door. read more

Stopped at the Pit Stop yesterday to try one of their burgers I see advertised on the sign out front all the time. The Saturday special is BOGO burgers, but the catch is the deal doesn't apply to carryout orders. Bar staff was friendly, but I got the impression they didn't get too many carry out orders. They had no printed menus available that I could take with me, and I couldn't find one online either. Burger took about 15 mins and was cooked PERFECT. Fries were good as well. Atmosphere was pretty typical for a Parma bar - a few booths to eat at, some tables, a pool table, and plenty of HD TVs to watch. Overall pretty good experience, definitely will come back. read more

Stopped in for first time yesterday. Intended to use Entertainment coupon but ended up taking advantage of wing and burger specials. Very good Cajun wings. Homemade chicken soup was great. Place is clean and service was very good. Good beer specials. Would have liked to see more craft beers on tap but bottle selection is good. read more

I don't usually write bad reviews as I'm pretty easy to please but I just am appalled at the horrible service here. From the instant I walked in with my friend, we felt very unwelcome. The bartenders were very rude and impatient even though they were like 10 people inside on a Friday night. We order appetizers and waters and were met with demeaning stares even though we were paying for food. The bartender just drops the food off along with the bill and ignores us completely never offering refills, plates to share our appetizers or even a FORK. I usually tip over 20% because I work in the service industry myself but would never treat clientele like that. I'll never come back here again nor will I recommend this place to anyone I know. read more

I would say that this was some of the worst food that I have ever had. Burger was so dry and burnt. I think that any bit of juice that was in the meat was pressed out while cooking. I love a good burger. I would eat it over steak but this burger I couldn't even finish because it was so bad. The table behind us left, not sure why, maybe it was the 40 minute or so wait. Visitied this establishment a couple times before and there are few great things to say. Wings are probably the only thing decent to order from this bar. I have tried the Philly cheese steak (which is served on the greasiest soggiest hot dog bun you could imagine...but the menu says hoggie bun) and the fries were oily and greasy and soggy as well. Tonight on Monday February 9th was probably the most irritating experience of all. Noticed they had a rather larger menu so we decided to get not only their wings but their mussels as well. Well conveniently enough after 3 dollar dozen wings on sunday they were out of wings on Monday. Really? That definitely could have been avoided with better kitchen management because you have to know to order extra wings to get you through the next day or till the next truck comes in. Mistakes do happen however. So with that mishap we decided to still get the mussels but to also get the buffalo chicken wrap (which comes with fried chicken) and the chicken ceasar wrap. Our bartender then had to inform us that there was also not any fried chicken strips in the house. So not only is there no wings but no fried chicken strips plus no one who knows how to cut some chicken into strips and bread them and fry them. So of course we agreed the grilled strips will do. So having already placed the appetizer order of the mussels the wraps came out before the mussels did. The wraps were weak and thin. The ceasar dressing tastes like 3 cups of mayonnaise to 1 cup ranch dressing. Plus there's not any shredded Parmesan cheese in the chicken ceasar wrap. So then the mussels come out. The "pita bread" is a tortilla shell cut into triangles and drenched in butter or oil. Half of the mussels werent even cooked to the open position they should have been in they were closed. I was very excited to see a bigger menu however more disappointed that it isn't executed correctly. Our bartender was the sweetest and the beer is on point however if your hungry only get the wings (if they have them of course) bc its the only thing that's impossible to mess up. Hire more knowledgeable kitchen staff and this place could go a long way. read more
