I wanted a race flag theme in the arrangement and asked Laura if she didn't have anything on hand if she wouldn't mind going to a party supply store and finding a race flag to stick in the bouquet or maybe a race flag balloon. She assured me that if she couldn't find anything from her suppliers she would make something to satisfy the theme. I had a friend of my family take a picture of my bouquet and email it to me after the memorial services and was elatedly surprised! Laura not only included 2 crossed race flags clip art on the card but also had handmade a black and white race flag ribbon using white satin and black rogaine ribbon weaved together with floral glue, then laced through the middle layer of the greenery in the bouquet, . It was very creative and tastefully done. It definitely made a statement of my late friend's favorite pastime and honored his memory perfectly. The roses were all clumped together and they did add a few other flowers and put in a brown wicker oblong basket that look like it had been used before. I was beyond disappointed. My 7 year old grandson could have done better. We drove from St. Charles to Warrenton so I could personally talk to them.
