The food menu is considerably smaller than it used to be but there is a note saying that if you can't see what you want, just ask and they will cook it for you. The wine list is as good as it ever was. There is still a good choice for those of us who are veggie - several beancurd dishes to choose from. Portions were generous and flavours were good. On the downside we felt there was a bit too much cornflour in the sauces, making them a bit too claggy and sticky. And the bits of wild rice in with the regular rice was most odd - it looked like mouse droppings! It is great to see Yvonne back running the place - we missed her when she was running the Barrow branch! We will definately be back and are delighted that this restaurant is back again!

We go in to look at the menu and make a reservation for dinner that night. Are we glad we reserved this place in advance. Zen was already busy with the dinner service at an early hour. We ordered the Sea Bass Thai style and the Seafood salad. Our dinners were excellent, full of that distinctive Thai flavor and style. A great choice for us in what is really a resort town. We were greeted well and the service was very very good, we were told that if we wanted anything specific they would cook it for us on demand. The venue is not large, nor is it small, but the small buffet cart seems like it would cause crowding and queuing at busy times of day. A selection of buffet desserts are also included. The whipy ice-cream machine was a favourite of my student friends. What an idiot i am, this is by far the best kebab shop in blackpool, possibly lancashire.
