Surprisingly enough this was my first ever visit to a Subway. I've always been a bit put off by the whole sandwich shop francihse idea so I've never bothered with them, but today I was passing, and starving, so I decided to give them a whirl :-) Not really understanding the ordering procedure and the fact that there was a queue I boldly opted for the 'Sub of the day' at £1.99 and was introduced to the whole idea of choosing your type of bread, toasted/not toasted, choose your salad, choose your dressing etc. and was at the till before I knew it, sub in hand and good to go :-) Today's sub of the day was turkey and ham and the meats did look very much like budget range supermarket cuts, but the salad was refreshing and I liked the Ranch dressing which I chose. All in all it was an OK sandwich and the staff were friendly and efficient. I'll probably pop back in again sometime in the future but I won't go out of my way to go there in preference to other sandwich shops. read more
