They took very good care of our belongings and of others by taping and covering everything to protect it from paint. For example: He not only taped around window and door frames, but would also cover any of the neighbors' cars with plastic, so that they would not get any accidental paint. They also removed unneeded fixtures like old satellite dishes, and unused cables that were in the way at no extra charge. One team came and painted our place and did a good job, but then weeks later, the dry rot inspection crew came and had to do a lot of work on our patio and the side of the house. They broke a pot of ours by banging on the walls and then they had to have the painters come again and repaint the work they did. They waisted a bunch of time, and when the painters came again they gave us no notice and I had to drive back from work to move stuff on my patio so they could paint it for the second time. I would expect much better from a contractor and am disappointed by their work.

This is a company that has painted SO many homes in Benicia (and I know they paint lots of other places) and you will receive a five page referral list when you sit down with the Ray to discuss your job. I found him (Ray, the owner) when I admired a job REALPainting was doing down the block from me. They were incredibly neat, the bushes were totally covered, the house looked great and I decided to give them a call. REALPainting. Ray has his stuff together. Will offer his referrals and insurance info first meeting. And then the job...just excellent. We were lucky to get Jaime as our painter and I think the other man was Kevin? Ray was a constant part of the process, but we had to live with Jaime and Kevin (?) for a little over a week as they painted both the outside and much of the inside of our home. And they were easy to live with, taking care of every detail with precision. Simply EXCELLENT work. I'm married to a retired General Contractor and he is very picky about any kind of work that is done and he can find no fault. I did say they painted much of the interior and I was going to take care of the small area that I didn't ask them to paint. Bad decision. I could never paint it as well and am now in the process of having them paint the rest. Make the same decision for yourself. They are much better.
