What a great restaurant on the World Equestrian Center property. We dined there three nights In a row. Great food and flavors. I highly recommend coming there. The Spilway and General Denver better step up there game. Because when the locals figure how great this place is, they are in trouble.

Wife had the fish and chips and said it was great! Wait staff was prompt and polite. Atmosphere was laid back with a bar inside and an outdoor patio for those comfortable Ohio evenings. I was not asked how I wanted it prepared ... and it arrived well done and without sufficient searing. Not dry, but any longer on the heat and it would have been dry. Next time I will ask for medium rare. It was properly seasoned and had good beefy flavor. The veggies were fresh and crisp and the bun was properly toasted. I substituted a side salad for the french fries. It arrived with a small mountain of cheese ... and my first reaction was worry that maybe it was hiding olde, brown lettuce. Nope. It was an excellent salad! The service was excellent. Good teamwork by the two waitresses inspired that hot food, was served hot and they kept my water glass full. Will I return? Absolutely, yes! Quibbles: - Hard to find at night because their sign and parking lot are unlit. - The woman working the register is a grump.

She made us feel completely comfortable and truly made an already wonderful meal even better. Exceptional service from beginning to end! The restaurant itself is adorable, modern, beautifully decorated, and has a lovely patio. But the service and food completely stole the show. We ordered several appetizers, including the bruschetta, fried green tomatoes, corn and ricotta dip, and pimento croquettes. I'm VERY picky, and I genuinely wouldn't change a single thing. Every dish was flavorful, perfectly balanced, beautifully presented, and cooked exactly right. The bruschetta was so good that we ordered a second round! The fried green tomatoes were perfectly crisp with a delicious sauce, and the pimento croquettes were crispy on the outside, creamy inside, and paired perfectly with the sauce and pickles. The corn and ricotta dip was delicious as well. Nothing was too salty, under-seasoned, overcooked, or missing anything. The flavors were spot-on across the board. For dessert, we had the peach butter cake with everything on the side. The cake was delicious on its own and even better with the ice cream. It's rare to try so many dishes and not want to change a single thing, but that was the case here. The food was top-notch, and Olivia truly made the experience. We will definitely be back and will absolutely recommend this place to others. Amazing food, amazing service, and an overall experience that went above and beyond.

I loved how she verified food allergies with the cooks. The food was great! The wings were a good size and the sauce was nice. The asparagus was cooked well and the aoli accompanied it very well. The star was the peach butter cake! The first bite tasted like a cinnamon roll and kept pulling you back in. I'd 100% give this place a shot in you're in the area.

We were greeted by the manager as we walked in and seated right away. I'm currently using a walker, so we were seated in the main floor which consisted of bar seating and 3 tables packed together. I saw later that they have plenty of seats upstairs, so I'm sure seating would be more spread out there. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We started off with cocktails and which were only $10! I ordered the BLMT (bacon, arugula, mozzarella, roasted tomatoes, caramelized onions, and pesto. served on golden italian bread). It was delicious and I would order it again, but if bacon is the first ingredient listed, there should be more than 2 strips on the entire sandwich. As my side, I got the Grippos Tots which were fantastic! Before we left we signed up for the rewards club because we're sure we'll be back!

I also LOVE the setup here. You pay first, get your food second, and everything just seems to run smoothly. No unnecessary waiting around trying to figure out what's going on. My wife and I usually rotate between the pancakes, the hash, the Northstar Burger, or the potato hash. Honestly, you really can't go wrong with any of them. The food is always fresh, portions are good, and everything comes out looking like somebody actually cared about what they put on the plate. We probably go once or twice a week, especially for brunch. At this point, Northstar is basically family. And if you're like us and pretty picky about where you eat, this is definitely one that gets the stamp of approval. Great food, good atmosphere, and consistently solid service. One more thing: I believe they play jazz after 6 PM Monday through Friday, which is always a nice little bonus. Overall, definitely recommend if you're looking for good food with a nice ambiance. Northstar has a permanent spot in our rotation!
