Been a member for the past year and I absolutely love it! One of the best rock climbing gyms here in Vegas; it is so spacious as compared to the other gyms. Majority of the walls are bouldering, however, there are a few courses for top-rope and lead climbing. They also have other amenities like a yoga room, slack line, weight station, treadmills, lockers and showers. They even provide a conference/lounge room if you need a place to work or relax; plus, you don't need to worry about using your data either because you can connect to their wifi! I would definitely recommend getting a membership if you're an avid rock climber, it'll be worth your money. Best part is the 24/7 access - excludes lead and top-rope which are only open during business hours. Another great benefit is having a free buddy pass once a month that way you can introduce multiple friends into this fun sport. A day pass can be quite pricey ($23), but if you come before 4pm, it will be $15 instead. This is included with the chalk bag, harness AND shoes. WHAT A STEAL!! Also, shoutout to the front desk crew. I absolutely love this Fitness Center which is focused around the largest indoor climbing facility in Nevada. The community culture that they cultivate is really quite inspiring. Local artists works as art on the wall as well as for sale. I've seen them support local authors, too. As a fairly novice climber, I never feel intimidated that both the staff nor the other climbers get frustrated with the newbies. Most folks will help you out if you aren't doing something 100% correct. And in Las Vegas heat, having an indoor place to enjoy a fit activity in climate controlled building, it's a blessing all year round. There is a full fitness studio as well as yoga classes that are available besides the climbing. So if you're looking for an interesting gym alternative, consider origin. It's located by the Valley Auto Mall in an industrial park area. It can be a little bit tricky to find the first time as you can see it from the 215 but not from the street that it's located on. My last tip, if you're not ready to commit to a monthly membership, try buying a punch pass. It'll give you a block of entries to come and try it for yourself and/or friends. However, one downfall about this was that the place closes early and it was a weekend so I was expecting it to be open a little later. Only negative thing: I was in Boise for school and knew I would come here to climb so I already signed my waiver. Then, my friend was taking me for the first time as a guest (free for first time guests), and someone had already used mine. They don't check your ID to verify who you were. There is a large kid's specific area and tons of kids programming including teams. TruFusion Yoga classes are included in day passes and memberships and are currently every Tues/Wed/Thurs from 6-7 pm. We took part in a sensory friendly event Origin held for Global Climbing Day and I was blown away with how amazing the staff here was. They were prepared for and understanding of the challenges sensory issues can bring. The music was super low, they encouraged the kids to explore the gym, and didn't mind if my kid wanted to try assisted climbing multiple times, even if that meant putting the harness on and off several times. Everyone was positive and encouraging and it was such a great experience, I can't wait to come back and I know my 4 year old can't, either. read more

Love this place! So far, I've climbed at gyms in North Carolina, California and Nevada. So far, this is the favorite. First reason... there are numerous walls that emulate various climbing scenarios! You will find inclines, declines with multiple levels! I don't know the actual square footage, but this place is huge! Definitely a plus. I think some pro climbers train here. Oh and they have a gym. So, if you're trying to build strength, hit some weights! While you're there, check out their pro shop! If you're just getting started and find you absolutely love the sport, pick up a pair of climbing shoes. Get your own harness, chalk bag, and a T-shirt! No need for a belay certification. They have auto belays installed. They're great! Many of the walls are set up for bouldering. Great for strength training and practicing technique. I'm quite a beginning. I don't know much about technique, so this place is perfect for me. There is one and only draw back that I can think of... The walls could be higher. Believe me, there not small. I guess I'm comparing them to some of the gyms that I've seen in climbing magazines and online. Really wanted to love this place but the owner (someone named Jazzy- she said she was the owner?) is legitimately horrid. Our family started coming here and while we had some issues with our cards not allowing us entry after hours and such, it was still an enjoyable experience. It doesn't seem super inclusive as their website states, but we did our best to meet people and enjoy the space. We were told when we signed up that we could take classes to strengthen our climbing skills but after months of the classes not scheduled (totally understand due to COVID), we decided to pause our membership until they come back. I emailed Origin to pause for my husband and I and never received a response. Two months later I realized we were still being charged for one membership, so I called back and had the most bizarre interaction with this Jazzy woman. She was extremely condescending and pretended to not have known I tried to cancel both memberships..the whole conversation was so weird. Our family will definitely not be returning and we won't be recommending this spot to friends anymore. If the owner doesn't know how to communicate professionally, it's bound to trickle down eventually. On a final note, the website reads "we're a 'no bro' culture, inclusive.." space. If you're actually inclusive though, that statement makes no damn sense. read more

My friend brought me in to try out rock climbing. They have various trails for different difficulty. Every week it is a different trail. It was worth going since it was free and going with friends. I wouldn't go alone because this was my first time and the workers don't really talk about the walk through as much. Luckily I had my friends to guide. I had fun overall, but the admission price is pricey. But, they do have an annual membership but it was pretty pricey also. I would recommend coming to this place if you will go on as a regular to get more bang for your buck or to try rock climbing out. read more

I love this place! It's spacious and clean. There are 350+ boulder problems on every angle one can imagine. The landings are super well padded. The problems are diverse, from powerful to technical and they are reset on a very regular schedule to keep things interesting. The roped climbing is the same with a good selection of lead routes. The dedicated power training area is awesome. The weight room and cardio facility round out everything that you could need. This gym caters to all abilities and ages. From the total beginner to the expert looking to push their limits and fitness to the next level. It is also super kid and family friendly. This is a huge plus. I am not an outdoor climber, but decided to try this place on a whim back in April when I was looking for a new hobby to compliment my Kung Fu training. A surprising outcome was after the first month of indoor rock climbing, I was able to move pass a few plateaus I had struggled with for years at the gym. I have been following the progress of the gym on Facebook and came last week for a tour. Came today for the grand opening. There are tons of fun bouldering routes, as well as top rope, and auto belays. Route turnover is supposed to be every 8 weeks! There is also an awesome climbing training area. Origin also offers yoga classes. I am still rehabbing an injury so I was only able to do a few easy routes today but will be back soon to try everything else. So far only con is price, $720 a year! We took my 4 year old son here a few times to join the younger climbing class. Everytime we have gone, he's been the only one in that group class, which is totally fine. He had gotten a lot of one on one coaching. The facility is large and clean. There are always other a handful of other climbers, do it's never been overly packed or crazy. They have plenty of different choices to choose from. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars, they offer a preschool climbing group class, but there doesn't really seem like there is much for my son to do. There is one wall she can climb, then the rest are just a little too difficult for him. He always has fun and we are definitely going back again, I just wish there was more for him to do. read more

First time here today and it was sooo much fun!!! Located in Henderson. The service was top notch! They noticed we were first timers and they helped us out with everything from explaining the gear, to the different rock climbing levels, the showing us the facility... I thought it was so courteous and professional to do that and it was highly appreciated. It allowed me boyfriend and I to enjoy our time there to the fullest and know what we were getting into. This facility is quiet, clean, and has awesome membership perks if you decide to sign up. For a day pass, it's $15, which include all day (in and our privileges), yoga (only offered certain days, so if u want that check before), and weight room. Rental gear is an extra $8, totaling to $23... not bad at all!! Tons of bouldering space (short walls to climb) and a whole side of the warehouse for harnessing. The workers are not very friendly and it has a very corporate feel, not the typical close-knit climbing community. Here, you're just a number.
