What a hidden treasure! I love this place. It was clean, cozy and comfortable. It made our weekend get away relaxing and the view was breathtaking. Will definitely be coming back here.

My husband and I love The Overlook. In addition to allowing pets, it's not the typical generic hotel. Great views, great rooms!

We were greeted and checked in by Robert who was very friendly and inviting. We stayed in room 101 at the end of the hallway to the left corridor. When we entered, we were both surprised to see an opened adjacent door to the room revealing an additional 2 queen beds and small kitchenette area. I then realized that we booked for the King suite. This was ok because it gave my wife and I some more room to roam around two sections. The room with the sliding door heading out to the patio next to the grass felt small and tight so having that attached adjacent room helped. We enjoyed sitting out in the patio and watching the waves roll in and out including enjoying the fresh air and it just relaxing. Another unique feature that this hotel has which the others next to us is that they have their own direct beach access- 49 steps to the sand. This was one consideration that led to me deciding on this place than others. From 5-7p they have cookies available to eat as a snack which was nice. Their continental breakfast wasn't nothing to be thrilled out. Only offerings were cereal, oatmeal, some bagels, croissants and mini muffins. If you want a full breakfast you'll need to go out and eat someplace outside. My wife and I enjoyed the friendly hospitality and easy access to the beach. I also forgot to mention but there is a spigot where you can wash the sand off your feet at the top of the stairs. The door entering the property has a code which is nice to have as well to allow only guests. Parking was plenty and we were surprised that our spot we left after driving out to dinner was still available when we got back.

We were only there one night, but I have to tell you, it was a really nice hotel experience! I reserved the Family (fireplace) suite. The hotel has two floors and this was on floor 2. We had a nice roomy balcony with two chairs for sitting in while soaking in the beauty. The room itself was really large, with a king bed in the main and a queen, I believe, in a separate room. TVs in the main room and the bedroom. The fireplace was gas, gave off nice heat at night as it got chilly outside, and added to the ambiance. This hotel has breakfast! This was also a pleasant experience. They had the usual cereals and yogurts, but also had big waffles and biscuits and gravy! The food was good! We brought a bottle of wine ourselves, but I did notice they sell wine and beer in the lobby, which is nice, right? I definitely would (and will) stay there again the next time we are in the area. I forgot to take pics of the room itself. Sorry about that. You can check out their hotel website to see it. The next time I stay there I will fix this! In the meantime, here are a couple shots from the balcony of our room. The staff were warm, friendly, and helpful. All in all, a really nice time. Thanks, Coho!

We couldn't check in until 4 - I know that's checking time but it's been a long time since I've called a little early at any hotel and not been allowed to check in a little early. That said service at check in was very friendly and let us know there was a book in the lobby for take out. Why not put a list in the rooms? Taking one star for the tiny jetted Tub - I'm 5'3" and I had to scrunch my legs up and there was black stains at the bottom of the curtains. Breakfast was great - eggs were hot and didn't taste like powdered eggs and had great selection of items to go with them. Check out was easy online and I'd be happy to stay here again!

She was the one that booked the room and asked if I would like to join her in a weekend getaway. When she first arrived, she noticed some damage in the room. She took pictures and had someone from the office send someone to check it out to make sure we didn't get charged for the damages. We did take advantage of the indoor pool on our 2nd day of the stay. The hot tub did have a heavy chlorine smell, but it still felt good to soak in it. From where I sat in the hot tub, I could see an out of order sign on either the sauna or steam room. I didn't check it out. MIST restaurant is walking distance of hotel, which is convenient. The beds were super tall for me. I'm only 5 foot tall, and I had to do a running jump to get in bed! My friend that is about 5'9ish, said the bed was even tall for her. Other than that, there wasn't anything that stood out with this stay, so the next time I'm in Lincoln City, probably check out other hotels in the area.

I loved the hotel room it was cozy with beautiful beach decor above the beds, also had a cute little electric fireplace heater to keep you warm at night. The beach access is super close and easy to access by foot, but it is by stairs at the neighboring hotel. There is lots of parking from right in front of the hotel to the little parking structor in between the 2 hotels, they do have some EV chargers for electric vehicles. The staff is wonderful at the front desk to check in/out and help with any other needs. Close enough to downtown & other surrounding area's to check out. A wonderful place to stay for any occasion, even if you don't get a beach front room.

They pictured a beautiful suite overlooking the ocean - we got an adu room that looked onto a brown building a few feet away! Seriously?? We went for some romance and this was a huge disappointment bc we planned to look at the ocean. False advertising on Hotel Tonite's part!!! The remodel of this old property is ok. Our room dod have a big jaccuzi tub next to window (that we could barely see out of) not just moisture but actually dirty. A peek-a-boo view of ocean there. Got settled in and ready for movie. TV remote didn't work. hubs had to go downstairs and get new ones. Then upon return and got it on - it was completely ?? unprogrammed! "no channels" screen showing. No way to even see them. No button to see to find? how to reset. After a phone call downstairs they didnt know how to fix it. Said they would see if maintenance was still there at 8pm... Fortunately my man saw there is a little string??? coming from behind tv!! You had to pull it??? to get to the hdmi settings - then figure out which one was correct!! Sheesh. Bed was hard. No body lotion. No kleenix. (what hotel doesnt have kleenix???) Needless to say will never go here again!! It is pictured online like some kind of Salishan Resort. It SO isnt!!! And tho beach is below - really steep LONG long stairway to get up and down. Huge disappointment all the way around. NOT worth the $ and would never have booked if i knew we were getting a brown wall to look at for vacation!

One of the reasons I chose this place was because it's pet friendly. When we arrived, Greg gave us little doggie bags that included toys, treats, and poop bags :) There is a small grassy area nearby that makes it handy for a quick potty break if you're lazy like me after 9pm. Greg also told us about a new dog park nearby, so we checked that out, too! They provide a hot breakfast, which wasn't exceptional but wasn't terrible either. We ate breakfast both mornings and survived, lol The room was clean and smelled fresh. I wasn't bothered by any road noise, but I was bothered by what sounded like an army of children stomping on the ceiling. It was probably the same army of kids who interrupted my quiet pool time haha They have a pool, hot tub, and sauna with 10pm-12am being 18 + only, which was lovely. Overall, I would recommend staying at the Inn, and I plan on returning in the near future.

We were disappointed that there wasn't a microwave or a mini fridge in our suite, unfortunately we had to survive on eating snacks or eating out any time we got hungry instead of warming something up in the microwave like leftovers or popcorn. My fiance and I went down to the beach, and that's when he proposed! It was so special, but on our way back he tumbled on some rocks and ended up splitting his head open- we rushed back to the motel to the front office and the male owner was at the desk (can't remember his name) we had asked if we could use some super glue to help my fiancé's head- because we felt it wasn't enough to spend our day at the ER, just a quick super glue fix would do the trick. The owner gladly grabbed some for us and seemed every caring and we all kind of chuckled about the whole situation- my fiance was fine, it was the tiniest nick, not gushing blood. He got patched up and we went about our stay, and he healed up pretty much the next day. We loved the room, and the tub. Very old school, cabin vibes. Will definitely return!
