It actually raised my spirits when I knew I was going. It made a painful experience tolerable. I could not wait to go every week. Who doesn't think about getting old and sitting in a rocker on the porch?…read more One day I hope when I get older someone will stop by and visit me. This year I took the family on a field trip like we do every Christmas season. We brought flowers and stopped by hoping to visit a few folks who may not have family and friends near. We were welcomed in to a small but warm little place. The front office staff and nurses were friendly and brought us around to meet a few of the residence. I've been looking for places to visit the last few years and this was one of the few places that actually allowed us in to volunteer and visit. Thank you and Happy New Year!

From day one, their team showed genuine compassion, professionalism, and dedication. They took the time to understand his health issues and created a care plan that made him feel safe, supported, and respected. One of the biggest challenges for our family was managing his medications, and the caregivers handled this with absolute precision and care. They were always attentive, organized, and patient--making sure he stayed on track and fully explaining anything he didn't understand. It gave our entire family peace of mind knowing he was in such capable hands. Beyond the medical support, the caregivers treated my uncle with warmth and kindness. They listened to him, encouraged him, and made his days brighter. It's rare to find a team that combines skill, compassion, and reliability so seamlessly. I am truly grateful for everything they've done. If you're looking for a home care agency that goes above and beyond, this is the one you can trust.

Don't walk but RUN away from this facility. My mother stayed in the Reflections section (Dementia…read moreunit). From the first week she moved in, they increased her monthly fee by thousands of dollars because she needed additional care. I would have agreed to it if they provided the care that they promised, but they did not. And once you are there, you are stuck paying the extra costs until you can get your loved one out. We had to hire private care to come in to care for our mother until we could find a better facility. Management does not care. We met with them several times, but nothing changed. My mother suffered many UTIs and a fall under their care, and several visits to the hospital. She was not like this when she first moved in. Neglect of general and hygiene care put her deeper and deeper into poor health. One example: My mother fell from her bed in the early morning. An aide came in and saw her on the floor. She looked at her but did not bend down to see if she was okay. The aide left and came back 15 minutes later with help. 15 minutes! I would not recommend this facility if your loved one needs assistance.

If that's true, why are you constantly calling trying to get us to sign on the dotted line? Why not just go to the first name on this supposed waiting list? This facility did not even have my mom sign the contract even though she was perfectly capable of making her own decision to contract with a stay at home service just a week before and to sign the documents herself. Instead, they allowed her grandson to sign for her and to commit her to over a hundred thousand dollars a year. She didn't completely understand all of the extra fees. Almost nine thousand dollars a month for the most basic of care and you charge for phone and cable? You have extra fees for laundry to be done? She said, "They don't even provide toilet paper." When I asked how much it would be if my mom needed to be wheeled in a wheelchair to get to her meals etc., I didn't get a straight answer. It was, oh we'll reevaluate. We just can't say. They also charge $5,000 for you to even move in. When I asked what this was for, they said it's standard to charge for the nurse to sit with the resident and make a plan. Really? $5,000? The at-home service did that for free before she even signed their contract. Sounds like the sales person is getting a nice big commission.

Yes Five Stars. Not given lightly. My father first used this company because of a friend's…read morerecommendation a year ago. He had just had a pace-maker installed and needed help at home. Complete Private Home Care sent out various people to handle everything we needed, carefully following his Primary Care Physician's list. This included an initial consult with Sue and then Danielle the nurse in charge of all the other aides and therapists. I know their names because I had to use them again after my father ended up in the hospital again this time with pneumonia. I didn't have much experience with home health workers when I hired Complete Home Health. However because of my age (mid 50s) I have had too much experience with my friend's parent's aides and assisted living situations. Also I had to oversee aides in Texas for my grandparents. So while I had not personally hired but one aide before (freelance--without an agency--also a friend's recommendation) I do feel able to award those five stars. What sets them apart? First they are very professional. I think perhaps because they are a smaller company, they are on top of each of their clients. They always knew who I was, and who my dad was and which workers were involved in his care. The co-ordinator Jon has a handle on all the clients. Next, the Administrative nurse has a great list of caregivers she can call upon. My father had problems swallowing and was prone to inhalation pneumonia, the therapists helped him learn strategies for eating. Physical therapists taught him to get him up walking again, home assessors came for safety. Further, they took a huge load from my shoulders by communicating with my father's Primary Care Physician at Harvard, so I did not need to still be in charge of all that on top of all the rest I was in charge of. Finally, all the people were loving and I never worried someone would steal from us or hurt my dad. They demonstrated far more patience than frankly, I had left in me. They suggested intelligent solutions to home problems such as different pill containers, cutting back shrubs for ease on stairs, removing certain roll around chairs, etc. They responded Immediately, and were able to be at the house within 4 hours of suddenly learning he was being released from rehab. When I was forced to hire them for out of pocket 24 hour care, they were able to make this far more affordable by charging for blocks of hours. Because we had installed 2 Drop-cams we could see that the 24 hour aides were never more than 20 feet away. This is a fabulous company. Hire them and feel safe. If you are like me, you need it.
