I sent an inquiry through their website regarding weekly passes and got a call and email right away from a very friendly Alysia. She advised for me to come in, and I *thought* I knew where I was going. I recall coming here a few years ago and it was located near Stevenson Road. I made the mistake of driving to their old location as Google maps still had their old address whoops. So I tried to find them using Google Maps again and wound up at the wrong location. I called the gym and Alysia was so kind and directed me to the right place. Finally finding the new location, I walk in and was completely amazed at the size of the gym and the cleanliness. Purple and gray shiny new everything, oooohhhh!!!! Sold! Sanitizing spray and little neon cloths for wiping down the machines. I loved it. Alysia was very professional and sold me a pass (just visiting) and gave me a tour of the facility. I went in every day to find the place still very tidy and clean, and members were very respectful of the equipment and each other. One of the days I also got to meet the owner Tana who was so friendly, I really enjoyed chatting with her and finding out about the gym's journey the last few months. I can really respect a place that is proud to make their facility that clean and safe, and have some basic ground rules to keep it that way. They had a couple of really nice stair master steppers. The cable machines are also my fav. I also enjoyed the shoulder and chest machines in the center of the weights area. It is an enjoyable place to workout and it made me feel good to help out this small business.

Everything from the decor and aura of the yoga studio, to the salt cave (you have never experienced anything like this!!!), to all the other services offered (just ask); all done with exquisite taste and attention to detail. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, the services offered are reasonable in price, and they are all overseen by Diana herself, a highly credentialed and respected yogi. A 'must visit' for all. Namaste.

As one who has traveled worldwide, this is an opportunity not to miss when driving by on I80. If you need a rest and to care for your body, here is the place to have a time out! Though I have been a Healer now for 33 years, I have never experience a salt cave or hydro therapy bed until today. Though having abundant opportunities to receive healing in multiple modalities did not prepare me for yet another deep appreciation for those willing to create complimentary services to benefit health and wholeness for others. When I am visiting my family, friends and clients in Illinois, I will make this one of my habits. It is a good one. Thank you Salt Tree Yoga!

Their refund policy is horrible, and it often takes 15-21 days just to get them to issue the refund. I paid in for 15 months before learning that they were not teaching my daughter anything, and when I requested a refund for classes that they had not taught ended up having to get the police and my bank involved to get those funds returned to me. I posted a review on their Facebook page, and within 12 hours it had been removed. This gym refuses to acknowledge any wrongdoing on their part, and I would recommend anyone that is contemplating this company look for another gym. Their reputation preceded them when we transferred to a new gym, and it was not a good one from what we could determine from the tone being used when speaking of them. Horrible gym!

If you go to SAA you will accomplish whatever goals you want to achieve regarding your fitness…read more This place has top notch trainers who are well versed in many training techniques and methods with an amazing community of members who motivate each other to achieve their goals. I started at Superior in 2012, the summer before my junior year of high school. I originally wanted to work on my strength and speed as I was working towards furthering my baseball career in high school and college. I saw results after training with Will and Boone for a few months and solidified myself on the varsity baseball roster with the extra power I gained in my arm and my bat. I ended up leading the team in multiple batting categories my junior and senior year and acquired multiple looks from DI and DIII baseball programs. After my senior year, I was accepted to the Coast Guard Academy and earned a spot on their baseball roster while concurrently serving in the military. The strength that I gained from SAA helped me during boot camp and got me through that with ease. Fast forward to 2018, I recently moved back to Chicago and got involved in Olympic Weightlifting. I had a sound basis of the technique that I learned all the way back in 2012 when I first trained at SAA, but I had not trained full time for a while. I wanted to find a program that I could get personal feedback from while having a tailored and individualized workout made for me. I was confident that the coaches could bring me to another level with my lifting abilities. So I decided to take a chance and see what I could learn with the coaches at SAA. I started training with Will and Kurt in August of 2018 and I have seen tremendous gains in my technique, strength, and volume that I can lift. My lifts have gone up various amounts, and I have learned so much about training methods, technique, recovery, and programming with the coaches here. I came in clean and jerking 127kg/279lb, and SAA has helped me get to a 140kg/308lb clean and 151kg/332lb jerk. My squats have increased by 10kg/22lb in the back squat and 15kg/33lb in the front squat. I feel stronger, and I can handle much more volume in training than when I came into SAA in August of 2018. My technique has improved immensely, and I consistently receive feedback on how to lift better. Overall, the community at SAA is hard to beat. Everyone knows each other and motivates one another to reach their goals. The atmosphere is a great place to train and learn in. Everyone is there to help, and the coaches put a lot of time and effort into writing each workout and explaining each part to you. I have felt that if I ever have a problem with any part of the lifts, I can come to any one of the coaches and ask them how to fix it. I am looking forward to the future with SAA, and I am proud to be part of this community.
