    I would strongly advise caution before booking this venue. I will say the venue itself is beautiful…read morehowever the owners are a nightmare! Mainly the lady. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely negative due to the behavior of the staff, particularly Bonnie. My employee and I were made to feel uncomfortable by her hostile attitude and lack of professionalism toward both vendors and guests. During the reception, Bonnie repeatedly interrupted to criticize and micromanage minor issues rather than allowing guests to enjoy the celebration. At one point, a wedding guest threw ice into a nearby weeded area. Although we had no involvement and were unaware it had happened, Bonnie immediately approached us and held us responsible for the guest's actions in an unpleasant tone in front of guest. She also accused us of dumping juice on the grass, despite the fact that we did not even have juice on-site we were serving a pre-batched margarita, and all waste was properly disposed of in the trash. Another issue arose when a plug was missing from one of the venue's coolers. The cooler had been sitting in the same location before we arrived, yet we were essentially blamed for the missing item without any evidence. Later, as we were breaking down our equipment, Bonnie sent her husband to stand and watch us the entire time, which felt unnecessary, uncomfortable, and unprofessional. To make matters worse, I was later accused of taking a table that actually belonged to us. Throughout my years working events, I have never encountered a venue with such a negative and unwelcoming atmosphere. My impression is that couples are presented with a friendly and accommodating image during the booking process, only to experience something entirely different on their wedding day. If staff are unable to tolerate children playing, guests celebrating responsibly, or vendors doing their jobs, then the hospitality industry may not be the right fit. This was one of the most uncomfortable venue experiences I have had, and I would not recommend spending your money here.

As a mom to a son with ADHD we did not feel welcomed at all. My son is hyper, yes, but he is not destructive. I missed out on being in many of the bridal photos because i had to be near my son so Bonnie(owner) would not hover over my son and complain to my father-in-law, who is also the father of the BRIDE! I did not feel welcomed at all after she threatened to charge my family to pay for a tree specialist to come take a look at a tree my son happened to climb. She treated the well rooted tree like a sappling, a little baby, over my actual human babies.. I couldn't enjoy, what could be, my one time to be a bridesmaid. and that breaks my heart. im not sure how many memories i'll be able to hold on to from that night because all i can remember is how much i wished i could be a bridesmaid for one night. Not to mention how nightmarish the giant mosquitoes were! Bonnie also fussed about my son disturbing their (disgusting) miniature pond. They have no agitators in their makeshift pond and its a literal breeding ground for Canadian mosquitoes! (giant moose mosquitoes, im not even kidding!) I understand that this place is beautiful and within budget for most, but if you truly want to have a good time, i'd highly recommend you look elsewhere. It will cost you emotionally in the long run. But if the bride, or corporate manager, or whoever is brave enough to book this event, then i suggest you break out your wallet and hire an event coordinator so Bonnie can complain to them, instead of you(person writing a check) i would suggest you also hire a crew, so Bonnie can tell them how they're setting up the event tents wrong, instead of you(person writing check) If there are children present, no they're not, this is not a kid friendly place, so hire baby sitters for anyone who is traveling and cannot make arrangements. (persons planning event here) This place is Bridgerton without ANY of the class.

    My first time here, I got a gift certificate from a friend. I did my appointment online for their…read moresignature facial (90 min). The facial was phenomenal and it included a massage on shoulders, Arms and legs. I loved that it had heated pads where I was laying down. They had relaxing music as well. Very welcoming and they made me welcomed. It was explained to me every step of the way, what was being add to my face during the facial. I will definitely be coming back in the future. There's street parking and seems like they also have parking in the back.

(I have probably been here at least…read more10 times give or take) I called seven minutes before my appointment to let them know I was running late due to construction and would be about 10 minutes behind. She informed me that they would like me to be on time. I explained to her on the phone that the person that waxed me said they had a 10 minute window. You could be up to 10 minutes late and she said OK. No one told me they wouldn't be able to see me or that I should turn around. Instead, they let me drive all the way there, walk in the door, and then immediately told me they refused to do the waxing service. I realized I was late but the person I use to wax me told me last time I spoke with her said that they would only wait 10 minutes. So with the advanced (I know 7 minutes is not advanced but that is when I found out about the construction delays) To make things worse, they still wanted to charge me 50% of the service fee even though I had communicated ahead of time and was only 10 minutes late. I understand businesses have policies, (I own two businesses) but the lack of communication and customer service was frustrating and inconsiderate. If one of my employees told one of my customers a timeframe, even if I did not agree with it as the business owner, if my employee informed a customer of that, I would honor it. I lost two hours of work. This is not the first time I have had problems here. Someone I know went in for a wax and they didn't have enough wax and started waxing her and asked her if she could come back on a different day to finish it because they didn't have enough wax. She wasn't compensated and she lives 45 minutes away and was flying out on vacation the next day! I've had the same hairdresser for 15 years the same dog groomer for closer to 20 years the same nail person for years. I have never had a problem with any of those ongoing appointments. I have never not had a bad experience at the wellness shop in Orting, Washington. (not with the waxer with the company) When I called to complain, when I was leaving, they let it go to voicemail and then disconnected my call halfway through and then the owner called me and informed me I was only to speak to her, and I wasn't welcome back. I have no intention of ever going back! FYI. This is only the second bad review I have ever written. I'm sure people have had good experiences here and my Waxing was a good experience that's why I kept going back but customer service and how the rules change every time you come there is very unacceptable.
